This laundromat will be relocating to a new building in the near future that will have washers and dryers that can tell you when your laundry is done right to your phone so that people do not have to wait for you to get inside and remove your laundry because you have already been notified.

If you told me this place was a front for money laundering, I'd believe you without a doubt. I have never seen an employee here. Ever. There is a room labeled "Security Office" that I have not seen a single person enter or exit. I once spent 4 hours there on a week day waiting for 6 loads and didn't see anyone at all. The machines are probably 40-50% broken throughout the building. The last time I was there, an 80lb machine broke in the middle of a cycle, leaving my clothes soaking with soap and ripping two dress shirts up inside. I had to throw them in the trash. That machine cost $8 to pay for the cycle, and then I had to take those clothes out and split them into two separate machines, totaling $10 more dollars and adding 45 minutes to the amount of time I had to waste there. The signs on the front advertise that they offer a $1.75 wash option. That is only true for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, but you don't find that out until you get inside. There are no bathrooms and no outlets. So if you want to wait for your clothes, I hope you brought a book and a bottle to go in! (This is a joke, but I did see a man urinate in the bottle while I was there... so I guess that's fine.) I wish I had a nicer laundromat near my house, but now I drive out of my way to avoid them. I have been to other laundry mats with the same machines that charge more money. Also on weekdays before 10am they have discounted prices on the double and triple load machines. Their machines range in size from a double basket load (which is really more of an actual small one basket load) up to I think an eight basket. I can get my clothes washed, dried and folded in about an hour...since there are three different sized dryers...you can dry your laundry fairly quickly compared to a regular dryer...59 cents (up to three basket) 69 cents (up to six basket) 89 cent (eight basket) per 11 minutes...usually 30 minutes or less dry time works for me. Yes, your money is loaded onto a card--but this is not necessarily a bad thing. You dont have to worry about getting quarters...if you register your card, you get a 3% bonus after loading a certain amount...if you lose your registered card, they will replace it. Also, if you dont want to keep your money on the card, they will cash it out. I was just in here this morning and they were bringing in a new sofa. Oh...they also have free coffee, TV, WiFi and snacks, beverages, and laundry supplies for sale. A few things that could use some work: more seating, cleaner restroom, and there are quite a few machines out of order lately. All in all...my go to laundry place. **UPDATE SPRING 2020** This is no longer my go to laundry spot. The atmosphere has changed the last few years. Not that this is the best neighborhood, but just has become even less desirable. The laundry mat itself needs some updating. Laundry carts need replacing. A fresh coat of paint could help spruce it up a little. Machines are constantly out of order. Prices keep increasing. They held steady for many years and then in less than six months the prices were raised twice. There other location had caught fire and was renovated and seems to be the main priority now. I might still come here on a need to basis...but I have found other options in the surrounding area that are either more affordable, better equipped, or closer to home.
