Have used this business several times. John is very conscientious and does a really good job. He actually removed stains that were considered " unremovable" by the last carpet cleaning company we had hired. I will definitely hire him again! read more

I purchased a Groupon for Flawless Carpet Care, which required being within 25 miles of ZIP code 23321. Since they don't list an actual address anywhere, I had no way to confirm the distance until calling. I was told they would still honor the Groupon for an extra $30 because I was supposedly 4 miles outside their radius. I agreed. The technician arrived and was here for about 15 minutes to "clean" three rooms. The carpets look exactly the same as before, no improvement at all, and now they're sticky to walk on. He claimed he used stain treatments, but nothing looks treated. Honestly, I could have done a better job myself with a spray bottle and a rag. To make things worse, he refused to accept the Groupon and told me to get a refund from Groupon, then charged me $100 on the spot. The whole experience felt rushed, unprofessional, and misleading. I would not recommend this company. read more

I just had my carpets professionally cleaned for the first time in 8 years, and I'm beyond satisfied! They arrived on time, were very friendly, and did an amazing job. My carpets look and feel so much better--I highly recommend their service! (Btw I purchased on Groupon) read more

Purchased a Groupon and did an online booking. I received an email response and set up an appointment. The morning of the appointment I emailed the guy to get a timeframe for his arrival. I never received a response and they never showed up. Sent another email and still as of the next day, I've had no response. Hopefully I can get my money back. Horrible service! read more

We have worked with flawless for several years now and always love and actually depend on the cleaning. Yes, he's an independently owned family run business and because of that your not paying for all the overhead. He had some bad reviews in the past due to scheduling but not the work. He's dependable and very trustworthy. I'm a huge supporter of locals providing us with services. read more

yeah, so i definitely should've read the reviews here on yelp vs groupon. i needed my carpets cleaned since i was moving out of my apartment . purchased their groupon and called to schedule the appointment . the rep called back to schedule my appointment, cool. my time slot was between 2-4 when the would arrive . ok. now. fast forward to the day of the scheduled cleaning .... i'm at the apartment waiting for the technician to arrive. finally 3:55 hits and still no word. i called dispatch or whoever to see what's going on, no answer. he literally NEVER showed up. no call or anything. the next day i wanna say, dispatch finally returns my call. she asked if i wanted to reschedule... NO. i didn't need them anymore . my apartment complex needed a receipt from a cleaning company and flawless was literally useless in assisting me. so of course it was past the period to receive a return from groupon, so i had to take a credit. like, how unprofessional came you be ? and groupon should definitely cuts ties with them, especially since this somehow seems to be a common trend . they're lucky i had to give them one star, because they don't even deserve that . read more

Worst carpet cleaner I've ever used. The technician had a terrible attitude from the start, then got his van stuck in the grass. I had to pull his van out before he had a major meltdown. Would not recommend STAY AWAY! read more

My lease required a professional carpet shampoo upon move out and then Groupon sent me their deal as a sponsored ad. It was perfect timing. I bought it bc I didn't feel like comparing different companies I just needed a job done. I've been cleaning my own carpets every three months with the solution and machine rental at the grocery store. I was upset I was made me hire a company when i took care of their carpets and could do it myself but I understood after the carpets were done. A professional cleaning is impossible to duplicate. I would use them again before I do all that work myself! read more

This is the second time I've used him. First time zero issues it was Summer time and him and his daughter came. Scheduling was quick easy zero problems. Round 2: eeek it was a rough start. I called left a message scheduled an appt a few days later... everything was moved and no one shows up. I was scared to try again. I called left messages saying no one showed and never received a call. I was trying to avoid Groupon bc he said he would honor the same price. Few months go by and I see a Groupon for them. I call left a message she did call back. I scheduled... however, called back 2 seconds later when I realized there would be a conflict. No return call. I prepared just in case he showed while I was out of town and he did. He was awesome I told him what happened... he took my card over the phone and all was perfect. The work is perfect at first... came home got out of the shower and and anywhere where water touches turns bright neon yellow. My carpet looks horrible and they won't return phone calls nor "contact us via their website" I've even contacted the BBB read more

Do not use this company! Not only did they do a poor job cleaning on our carpets, but they damaged our wall and ripped the transition strip up from the floor. Contacted the owner and he asked what I expected him to do because he will not fix the damage or give us a refund. read more

Just as Tamara below. I as well scheduled an appointment over two weeks ago for a carpet cleaning. Scheduled for today 3/18/17 between 10-12 and we moved all the furniture and removed everything from the rooms for the cleaning. And no one has shown up. I have left two voicemails and have not received one phone call back. And according to their hours they are still open. Can't believe a company would do this not just to one person but to tow people. If they over booked they should have a better system. They should of called. The fact that we are still waiting her for a response is ridiculous!!!! read more

Called the owner of the business over a month in advance to schedule a carpet cleaning service on the rental I am moving out of. He called me at 5:30 on a Sunday (the day before our scheduled appointment) to tell me his equipment broke YESTERDAY and he has to cancel our apt tomorrow morning at 9am. I do understand life can be unexpected.. but what I cannot understand is how the owner of this business thinks it's acceptable to call me at 5:30 the night before our morning appointment when he could have called me yesterday so I could find someone else to do the job.. almost seemed planned so he could still get my mohey. It's upsetting because I am moving out of state and needed this to be done within the time frame of my lease expiring. He didn't care a single bit, in fact his response was "wouldn't have made a difference if I called you yesterday or today, no carpet cleaning business would have been open to schedule you anyway". The audacity, because had he called yesterday I would have had at least 48 hrs to figure it out instead of 15. Also, as if this guy knows every single carpet business's hours in Hampton roads. If the owner doesn't care about your time, wouldn't think it'd be too far fetched to assume he doesn't care how your carpets turn out either. read more

I purchased a Groupon and paid the extra money for stairs. There is no service ticket, or comments left explaining what was done, and if there were any issues. I can't imagine that this area was pre-treated. Was it even shampooed!? When you call them you always get a voicemail. They only called back when I was trying to schedule the appointment. Would not recommend, unless you are there to watch them. read more

Completely unprofessional. Do not use this company! If I could leave negative stars I would! Bought Groupon, went to redeem it and make appointment, no answer for a week, long after 3 day refund period. When we finally scheduled, it was for Noon. Showed up 5 hours late. Bought four room package. Had 3 rooms and a hallway. He said hallway would be $15 extra even though we PAID for 4 rooms. He said he was the owner. And when I asked him if he can just do the hallway anyway, he said he can't because Groupon takes most of the money. Despite his reviews saying that he "threw in the hallway for no extra charge." After he started copping an attitude, basically called my wife a liar, because she told him there are other reviews of people saying he threw in the hallway at no extra charge, I told him to leave. My wife had got all the rugs and small furgniture off the floor for this cleaning and waited home for over 5 hours, so naturally she was upset and disappointed. read more

Purchased a groupon for this company about a year ago, it took about a week to get someone to call me back but I was able to schedule an appt with them for the following day, it was a lady and a man who came and cleaned the carpet and did a great job fast forward I seen the same groupon I used last year available again so I purchased the groupon called for 2 weeks finally leaving a message to schedule an appt and the man returned my call the next day to schedule my appt for the following week between 3-5, because i needed my carpet cleaned I schedule it for the first available day which was the day of my son baseball game, so I took off early didnt take my son to his game so I could wait home for them to come between 3-5 and move all my furniture around so at 4:30 the guy finally calls to say that my house isnt within the range and it would be an extra $60 for him to come clean it I explained to him this isnt my first groupon through the company and the other time they came out here with no problem, so I call the other man (on 3 way) who I scheduled my appt with to ask him if it was within the 30 miles required for the groupon he assured me it is within the miles. The other man who was supposed to clean it starts talking about how he is the owner and it isnt in the range and he dont know what address the guy is using but it's the customer job to make sure it's in the range! So I said well why would your employee be using any other address than the business address and he started yelling being very unprofessional so at that point I realized I didnt even want this guy in my house, called groupon they assured me I wasnt the first to report that and they would investigate and refunded me my money back ! read more

This company came to clean my carpets. Four rooms and 2 hallways. They were done in half an hour. I inspected one room to find that 3 stains had not been removed. I asked that they try again and was told no. Stains were permanent. After they left I used "Hot Spot" on them and they all came out. Don't waste your money on these frauds. read more

If I could give them less the 1 star I would. I can't comment on their work because they never showed up to clean the carpets. I made an appointment for Saturday Jan 13, 2018 for 12-2pm and received a call at 122pm about their equipment being down and were going to get it fixed and would call back at 2pm. I never received a call and I called company serveral times and never heard from anyone. By the look of the reviews these wasn't the first time they have pulled this on someone. They have no one customer service skills whatsoever or not all all professional. I guess anyone can setup a website and call themselves a business owner. I purchased this on groupon and they don't even have a customer service number to speak to someone. All you can do is email. read more

I wouldn't give even 1 star if that was possible. This is the 2nd carpet company i called for an appointment. They did pick up and set a day and time for our cleaning (and i paid up front) but they never showed up, didn't call to tell me they weren't coming and never returned any of my phone calls. I had to request for my money back and even then, i still haven't heard from them. Are all carpet cleaning companies as unprofessional as this? It's horrible service for sure. Definitely don't use this company read more

I purchased a Groupon. Business won't call me back and voicemail full. Seems like a scam to me...

We purchased the Groupon and called to schedule our carpet cleaning with Flawless carpet care. When we scheduled (a month ahead of time) they took all of our information including our address. At the time of service, we received a phone call saying that they couldn't come and use our Groupon because we were located outside of their 30 mile zone. They told us that they could still come and clean our carpets, but for full price. When we scheduled our appointment they said nothing about our address being too far away, and instead called to tell us at 11am when they were scheduled to arrive between 10-12. Because we were moving and needed our carpets cleaned, we were forced to pay way than planned. Very unprofessional, would not recommend. read more

I ended up calling my credit card company and disputing the charge. They refunded me. Still no call back from the company

Normally I deal with John (the owner) who does an exceptional job! However, this round I dealt with a different employee who arrived 2 hours late, stumbled around and did not complete the job. John contacted me that evening and I informed him of the issues. Upon further inspection I also noticed damages to the walls not previously there. I attempted to contact the owner back 3x on my cell before calling from work (different number). I did not leave a message and hung up. Someone else (NOT the owner) called back thinking I was a new customer. As soon as I mentioned who I was he nonchalantly stated that the owner would call me soon. I mentioned that professionalism is important and I would greatly appreciate a phone call from the owner ASAP. Will not be using this company again if I cannot receive prompt return calls for issues. read more

Bought a Groupon - now fighting with Groupon for a refund. I left four messages with this company before they ever bothered to returned my call. Booked a cleaning for this afternoon between 2 and 4 pm. Took off work, got all furniture moved, then got a call from some dude who was either stoned or eating through the entire conversation. He claimed that the truck had been towed this morning, and rambled through a bunch of other nonsense I couldn't understand. I swear - you can't make this stuff up. Calling Stanley Steemer now... ** Update - Groupon surprisingly issued a refund and an apology within 12 hours. I'm not sure of their policy as I've never had to request one before, but they made it clear initially that all purchases were final after three days. They must be receiving quite a few other complaints about this business. read more

I was very nervous after reading this company's reviews. I guess the negative image really made them clean up their act. John cleaned my steps and two upstairs bedrooms. He was wonderful. Very kind and arrived on time. In fact, he even had to wait on me because I was running late. I'm very pleased with Flawless Carpet Cleaning and plan to use them again! read more

So $40 to clean up to 4 rooms sounds like such a great deal. Well you get what you pay for. My ex - roommate bought their Groupon when she moved out and it's been nothing but headaches and excuses since with this company. Everything seemed fine when I called to schedule our SECOND appointment when they bailed on the first without calling. Then 20min before when they were suppose to show up, they say theres an issue with the truck and they can "possibly reschedule before next week". The 2 appointments were 3 weeks apart and they used the same excuse or still doesn't care enough about his business to get it fixed. Either way, it's not going to be with my money... by the way, check for multiple yelp and Groupon listings for these people as they have more than one and bad reviews on all. BUYER BEWARE! read more

This company is a joke. I made 3 appts with them each time some rude guy called to cancel my appt. Claiming a different truck break down story each time. Called to reschedule each time and the lady I spoke to wasnt much help either. You would think if you would've had your appointment canceled three times they would want to immediately give you the next available appointment. Not the case with this company each time they had me out almost a week every time. The groupon i purchased was already redeemed also. Basically this company got paid for something they never did. SCAM ALERT! read more

I purchased a Groupon for this company and wasn't sure what to expect. Mike arrived on time and did an amazing job! I am completely appalled by this company! I never write reviews, much less negative ones, but I just had to in this case. I'd highly recommend avoiding doing business with them. I would give this company zero stars if I could. After no-showing two times, the owner who goes by John was completely unprofessional on the phone, making up excuse after excuse before raising his voice at me, the paying customer. Do not use this company or you will be very sorry! I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my 35 years of life. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The non existant customer service is a nightmare. No one answers the phone. They didn't show up for a scheduled appointment and I haven't been able to contact anyone since. This business is run so poorly I'm not sure how they can stay in business. read more
