"PROVIDENCE GROVE COMMUNITY" *** I did my…read moreresearch....and I took the time to specify "10" REASONS to use Combs Roofing.....sorry so long but I hope it helps everyone! ***We were extremely pleased from beginning to end with Combs Roofing Of Waxhaw!!! Here are my 10 reasons: 1. The owner Britton outperformed himself with "non-pushy" "sincere" and HONEST help......making it easy for us from start to finish. 2. To be honest....we get a lot of roofing sales people stopping by and I was somewhat nervous due to our financial situation...BUT he went above and beyond and was able to replace entire roof with "NO OUT OF POCKET MONEY!" We had a $1,000 deductible with State Farm. 3. Another great reason to use Combs Roofing......our 2007 year home original builder in the Providence Grove Community used 15lb paper and only 60mph roofing shingles with 20 year wear time on our house.....COMBS USED 30LB PAPER AND 150MPH WIND RESISTANCE SHINGLES WITH 30 YEAR WEAR TIME!!! PLEASE REFER TO PICTURES... 4. FULLY LICENSED AND BONDED!! 5. After committing....project done convenient to us!! 6. Britton uses top notch employees to install and they arrived at 7am and had all old shingles off when the new shingles were delivered at 9:45am, Britton the owner arrived at 8:15am and 2pm overseeing project making sure all was good and they were completely done by 4pm!!! 7. Again, being a little nervous...I took pictures of before and after because was concerned with making sure they cleaned up and leave project looking as arrived.....and it was perfect!! 8. ****They can also work with insurance company with your gutters, siding, and any interior damage to interior of home from "water-damage": if need to be fixed or replaced from hail or wind damage......also "no-money out of pocket!!" 9. Payed Combs Roofing after received check from Insurance company.....so....NO UP FRONT OF MONEY GIVING! 10. LASTLY....BRITTON THE OWNER CAME BY TO RE-INSPECT ALL WORK AND ANY CONCERNS THAT WE MIGHT OF HAD....WHICH WAS TWO THINGS...1. He responded to my request promptly, provided a reasonable estimate based on the scope of work and based on the photos I provided of my house. Mario scheduled a time with me as when he could perform the work. On the morning he was to arrive, Mario messaged me to request if he could be here a little earlier than the scheduled time and that he was only about 10 minutes away. I agreed. Mario was very friendly and professional. He performed the tasks as I requested in about 30 minutes. Mario told me a little about his company and asked me to keep him in mind if I required any other service in the future. Mario did not try to UP-SELL me on any additional services and stayed focused on the scope of work.

Things went downhill fast from there. We spent 3 weeks trying to get in touch with them just to get the estimate. After nearly a dozen phone calls with their extremely unhelpful and useless receptionist, Laura, who appears to hate her job and never followed up as promised, they finally sent an estimate. Of course the estimate was more than $2000 more than what the guy told us in person it would be when he came out. If they are this bad before they've even taken money for services, I can only imagine how bad the actual service must be.

After getting blown off by another roofing company 2 times, I looked to YELP to get someone out to…read morelook at a failing soffit/fascia area next to my gutters. I called and Alex picked up immediately. Very polite on the phone and booked an appointment with him in two days. Alex arrived early, did a walk around the entire house, told me there were 2 additional areas that needed repair, he walked me outside and showed me the areas. I was sort of sick about additional areas that needed to be replaced but frankly I could see it and of course I didn't want rain water entering the house so I appreciated his keen eye on my issues. I also had a xeriscape rain barrel that I wanted hooked up to a downspout. This was done Tuesday (excellent job and added height to it to allow for better flow, innovative!) and today Thursday the main work was done and in a tidy manner and it looks great. Alex went up on the roof the first visit and took numerous pictures, diagnosed nails and missing shingles. This was awesome to show my husband all the pictures (roof is about 30 feet high and peaked so we cannot access). I highly recommend Alex and Charlotte Pro Roofing and the employees he had at my home working here (he supervised the entire job). Very professional, tidy, respectful of my questions. I even had had cobwebs that were unreachable that Alex removed for me. Now it doesn't look like a haunted house. A+++++++++++
