I have a multi story house with tall ceilings. Adam gave me a VERY competitive quote and a good timeframe. They were able to start quickly and finished a couple of days sooner than I thought they would. They did the job well, as promised and left my house looking good. I was in constant communication with Adam throughout the project. I recommend hiring Adams team based on quality of work, speed, and price (their competitors wanted thousands more). Illia is hands down my go to handyman…read more And I don't say that lightly because I gave him a really big project that took over a week to complete. He literally does it all (replacing toilets, replacing floors, treating the concrete, finding problem areas (mold) and replacing it, identify issues (wrong breakers placed in the house), painting rooms, replacing doors.. you name it and he can do it. What I appreciated the most about him is that he has strong communication, great work ethic and will get the job done no matter how long it takes. We had an issue or two with our ceiling fan after the project was done and he immediately came out to take a look - both at the fan and at the how it was wired (turns out it was the fan). He's definitely reliable and would take care of the job until the client is satisfied. His pricing is also very reasonable. I've only known him for three weeks and has already given him three projects. I'd definitely rely on Illia again in the future.

I had the whole interior of my house painted as well as a built-in bookcase. Originally I was told…read moreit would take two days to paint the walls, then it was bumped to three after I added the bookcase (it's huge, so it made sense). After the first day of painting I was told it'd be done in two, but they probably should have used that third day. Some places look nice, but others definitely look rushed. There are places where you can see the paint dripped and dried with the dripping, some places I still see the original paint color, and they got paint all over my light fixtures and even some on the doors. The bookcase looks great, but I can no longer switch around the shelves to different levels because it looks like they put them back in wet, so when I remove a shelf, there's a nasty dark smear where the shelf meets the bookcase that's only hidden if the shelf remains in place. It felt like a rushed job and I was given five minutes to say if I was pleased with it or not. It wasn't until I was fully moved in that I began noticing all the poor work. Another complaint, I know they didn't use the paint color I gave them; they color matched it somewhere else and painted the cans so I wouldn't see the brand was wrong.

I had Jonh and his crew come out to paint builders grade oak cabinets I have at a corporate rental…read more Here's the most important thing with this painting company -- when it comes to painting kitchen cabinets, they use a top quality, oil primer first and then use a paint specifically manufactured for cabinets. This is not stuff you'd put on your walls. The result is that cabinets that have a visible grain (like oak), get filled in and smoothed out in a way you wouldn't get with traditional paint. It really makes a difference and it will really matter over time because it won't chip or scratch as easily. Jonh's guys are polite and do a great job. At the end, when they ask you to check everything, be sure you go over it with a fine tooth comb. You will find little places that might need a tiny touch up here and there. I don't think this is due to sloppy work, I just think that after spraying the inside and outside of cabinets for hours, you begin to lose sight of small imperfections. So, let them do their job and come in at the end to see what they might have missed with some fresh eyes. I thought their price was fair and they really transformed my kitchen.

I am very disappointed in the work and level of service I received from Ronald's Painting. I had…read morethem install cabinets, back splash tiles, and renovate a whole bathroom. They completed the job but it felt like the bare minimum was done. They didn't caulk anything. Tile work was C- work. The vanity they bought was messed up and warped but they still installed it instead of returning it and waiting for a new one. There wasn't any quality control until I came back from abroad to complain. You can tell they are just a painting company trying to take on more types of work. Maybe stay in your lane. When they installed my cabinets, they didn't bother to put in an electrical outlet above the stove so I have somewhere to plug in the built-in microwave I had installed. They just installed it over the old one and didn't bother. I'm pretty sure they didn't pull any permits because no one would approve that to be up to code. My mom found them from a flyer through church but I guess that doesn't mean they're honest or do good work. STAY AWAY! Update - Ron called me back almost immediately as soon as the review went up. He couldn't return my call but he definitely acted quickly with the review. As you can see from his passive-aggressive response, there is ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY, which showed throughout the project. Everything was my fault or the other contractor's fault or how long it's been etc... Yes, the other contractor was a poor communicator but I can assure you that his work had nothing to do with Ron's work. Am I not allowed to sub-contract work out how I see fit according to my budget? So when I brought in another contractor for the other stuff, your team said screw it, we don't need to take ownership for anything? Like the demo being left in my backyard? Yeah, thought so. The reason it's been 10 months is that I've had the house listed for sale. I've recently taken down the listing and am renting it and purchased new appliances, which is when I noticed that Ron's team didn't put in the outlet above the stove for a microwave/hood or put in a water line for the fridge. It's the small details that I thought when I paid Ron, I wouldn't have to worry about. I was wrong. Please don't act like I was a satisfied customer when we parted ways 10 months ago. When I got back from my honeymoon, I was very displeased with the work done and had to do several walkthroughs with your Foreman to even get it to just "all right". So now that I've had to spend more money to fix your lazy mistakes, I'm leaving the review.
