So many flavors ahead of the heat. #UpCloseSavor XP
    Tom H.

Yes I will share my Fire Dust! You know I love the heat. CaJohns is the one that adds the flavor. It says so right there in their name. My only fault here is the high traffic volume. They do run out of items. Give them a name and number and they will call you when it's it back in stock. Labels and names of products change. Just ask Hope at the kiosk. she has a book and chart of previous named flavors that just have a new shiny face for that international website shipper Hot Shots. CaJohns has been nice enough to keep this small kiosk open to sell products to their locals without the website shipping costs. Plus you get to taste it all right there. That's right! grab a tortilla chip or tasting spoon and sample away. Many mild heat items bursting with flavor. The salsas and bbq sauces are fantastic. Check out the marinades. It would be so easy to make a gift box for someone in your life. Ask about the deals. Buy a certain amount of items and get a free item. Many of you see me always carrying Fire Dust with me. Cajohns showed me that I can reduce the sodium in my diet by using this instead of reaching for the salt. Big letters on the container.. NO SALT NO MSG. It's OSU vs Xich week now, and I'm carrying around this bottle of Stomp Xichigan(see pic) hot sauce. Hope recommended it for my free item special. I loved the name and label, but how was the taste? Fantastic burst of habanero pepper with flavors of other spices dancing on my tongue. I admit to adding some to my Thanksgiving plate. I hope this is not just seasonal. Thanks for the great recommendation Hope. Drag your Hot sauce friend with you to the North Market, and see why CaJohns has won so many local, national, and world awards that celebrities ask them to create their own sauce.

    Xhot and tastey!

As the Columbus Wing King, Cajohn's and I have known each other for years. While their products go beyond wings into salsa, barbeque and other sauces, we do share a philosophy on all things hot. It can be super hot, but it must still have a good taste as evidenced by their X-hot salsa line. Very hot, (extremely hot to some of you ladies) but still with a lot of taste. For those of you who thing you have to prove your manhood on something killer hot, you can find that here too. Liquid Stupid comes to mind. If you want to find out everything about all things hot, stop in for a visit, sample, and a few words.

CaJohn's is a must stop in the North Market, to get some of the best hot sauce. I alway have some free samples whenever I'm in there. This is a locally owned company that won't use any preservatives in their products. It's a great way to support the local economy. What's most important is the hot sauce there is incredibly good and really hot. It's got lots of hot sauces and other items. It's one of the most popular places in the North Market to sample. There's always chips to sample them with. It's usually about $8 to $10 for a bottle. This is premium hot sauce and it's locally made so that's why it costs more. In addition to hot sauce, they also have barbeque sauce and salsa. These also should be tried. I like some of the milder and sweeter salsas, like peach. The hotter ones are still the best. Whichever you choose, it's high quality and full of flavor. It seemingly has an endless variety and there are different samples each time. Try not to burn your mouth with the real hot ones. I think CaJohns is one of Columbus's best small businesses. They also have a store in Westerville, so you won't have to come all the way here. This is highly recommended for hot sauce fans and overall small business supporters.

So I came to this place without ever hearing about it before and let me tell you. It sets a high bar. Fantastic salsas ranging in heat, and a really good $6 base price. Not to mention the hot sauce and barbecue. Next time your in the north market. Make sure to stop by. I really enjoyed the peach salsa and the Hot sauces. Great flavor feels very fresh. Service was excellent. You do have to pay for parking but if you buy something and get it validated it's really cheap. Try it out

    Roasted garlic salsa is incredible

CaJohns salsa are awesome, plain and simple. My girlfriend and I are both salsa fanatics, and I always have to bring some CaJohns back to Charlotte when I'm on break from classes at OSU. I've tried a few of their hot sauces (only bought one total), and they all seem pretty tasty as well. They have any range of spice you can want for both the salsas and hot sauces - everything from kid friendly to feeling like a fire breathing dragon. The prices are a bit steep, even in comparison to some other gourmet salsas and sauces, but the quality is superb so I can't complain. The workers always seem very friendly and helpful (without being pushy) as well.

I was not familiar with Bexley Natural Market but saw from the Too Good Eats website that the market carried them so off I went exploring. Parkign lot is limited and that area of Cassady Avenue was a little busy but I was able to get in and out ok and find a spot to park. The staff interaction was ok but REALLY missed an opportunity to sell the market and what they are about. I had asked about the membership and the bland explanations really didn't say much at all and the interaction was not very inviting and kind of dismissive. I would have been happy that some new traffic came in and showed an interest. Anyway, the market offers all kinds of items from produce, vegan options, natural drinks, and grocery items. It appears the main focus is supporting local farmers and vendors in the area. I will come back and take another look around but was super happy they had the drinks I liked. If interested- I found online that the membersip is $30 one-time payment and annual dues of $45 that provides 5% to 8% off and monthly coupons & promotions valued at $100 a year in savings. They also offer member-only events and activities. I found out more about the store from their website, if interested, you can check them out at www.bexleynatrualmarket.org.

Now as this was our first time here and we was so taken back by the throw back feel of the place! It gave me small town vibes! I instantly missed home walking into this grocery store! EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN AND NEAT! nothing was picked over and smelled so fresh! Until u got to the meat section then the seafood section was over whelming! But there is a spirits section and a local pop section and then local bakery! We seen the deli section and tried EVERYTHING! we took home so potato salad and the broccoli salad stuff can't remember what it was but it's good! lol They had a lot of prepared foods to but a bit over priced but available! Cute store! Only 5 lanes and 2 lanes open! They did take apple and Samsung pay! The cashiers don't really talk and the workers in the back were really nice and answered all of outlet questions! And loved their wine section! Also u can get balsamic vinegar fresh! Love that!

But - It's Tuesday so... Maybe lower your super-high prices (Like $35+ per pound) for Tuna. Maybe you will sell more and actually have some in-stock in case one of your customers want some. I think a "Gourmet Super Market" should stock some gourmet fish - Like TUNA :-) I can buy Salmon anywhere less expensively. I don't know why I keep going back - I guess it's the thrill of the chase now. Edit: I just saw Dan's response. Oh well Dan - losing stock is a cost of doing business and you can write it off - Meanwhile - I'll find somewhere else to shop. I never had this problem - EVER - before you remodeled the store and moved the fish counter to the back near the meat. YUCK
