Great food and service. We were spending the week at a nearby campsite and visited this spot 4 times. We had their chicken tortilla soup. It was delicious. We'd definitely go back for that. The pozole was very flavorful and had it twice. The enchiladas were so good. I had one suiza and the other rojo. Also very good. Wish they were local to where we live. The counter person who's extremely helpful X, coming outside multiple times to check on us. My wife had the shrimp burrito and I had the carnitas burrito. They were both delicious. We each took half a burrito home, so the portions are large. The salsa was a bit on the hot side. Maybe there's another salsa to be had. I would stop here again next time in Cloverdale. read more

Flavia = FLAVOR FOR DAYS!!! Enjoyed some of the amazing quesobirria tacos. Most flavorful we've ever had. And not greasy like the ones we've gotten in Santa Rosa. They're a little smaller than other quesobirria tacos in the area but make up for that with FLAVOR. So so good. We ate three and wanted to go back for more just because they tasted so good even though we were full. They also have my husband a carnitas burrito just for him to try. We were returning to bay area from Mendocino and were driving through Cloverdale looking for a low key spot to grab some lunch. Also since we had our dog we needed an outdoor facility and we stopped at Flavia's and boy we were glad. The service was excellent. The girl/lady that took care of us (sorry didn't grab her name) was very polite and kind and explained all the dishes even though lot of the dishes were not on the menu. We got to try Birria and Mojarra Frita which are not common in many mexican restaurants. The price was very reasonable. Note that some dishes are bigger than others, so based on how hungry you are check on which ones will fit your bill. For instance the burrito was huge, but the enchilladas was not that big. read more

If you want great Mexican food, this is the place. The company I work for hired Flavias to cater our Christmas party last month. The food was so good as was the customer service provided by Eva, owner of Flavias. Eva went above and beyond to make sure our event was special. She came to the party site, set up food stations and returned with the food prior to our party starting. Oh my Lord, Oh my Lord! There's American Mexican Mexican food and there is authentic Mexican food. We had the fish tacos and Carnitas tacos which were exceptional. The meat is obviously cooked for a long time because it is tender and the fish was light with a lime citrusy flavor and a beautiful sauce over it. The tamale was amazing but the thing that we thought was quite interesting and we've never had was the Quesa Birria which is a fried homemade tortillas with cheese melted on them and you can dip it in a consommé sauce. Wow! The chips and salsa were homemade too! We kept going back for more! Another thing was the service. 2 people waiting on us hand and foot and willing to get you anything you need! New Bagel Bar in Cloverdale has amazing bagels. Locally baked in Sonoma County. I got the jalapeño bagel with egg, cheddar and bacon and wow so good. Fresh squeezed OJ is a must or a latte. Highly recommend this place. Keep up the good work BB! read more

I don't know if there is actually a Flavia in the kitchen there, but whoever is working that line knows how to treat food! Delicioso! If you want some really good Mexican food, check this place out. The chile relleno is exceptionally good, as are the tacos al pastor. Both the pastor and salsa are a little spicier than you'll find at most taquerias, for which I am grateful. Flavors are not tamped down to accommodate gringo palates here, so if you are heat sensitive be sure to ask for suggestions like the birria, which is made from beef shoulder not goat. Plenty of outdoor seating is another plus, along with a nice owner and charming waiter. We went in for bagels but ended up getting the breakfast burrito and iced vanilla lattes. The burritos tasted fresh and all ingredients (potatoes, eggs, bacon) were made on the spot.
