I decided to go to Barbados for Cropover last minute and scrambled to find a makeup artist in Barbados. I came across Face Candy Studio through sheer luck while searching frantically on google. Luckily they had a few slots open on the day of carnival so I immediately jumped at the chance and booked my session. They offered air brush and the regular option. I opted for airbrush. Upon arriving at the hotel where they were based for the day, I noticed that they had a pretty smooth and efficient system: there were multiple makeup artists, each contributing to making you flawless. What I mean by this is that you had one person doing your lashes, another doing the base, foundation, another putting on the jewels on your face etc (forgive me for not going into more details, I just don't speak the language of makeup well). I showed them a photo of the look I was going for along with my costume as they inquired about these little details so they could deliver on making you look your best, and they delivered without any issues. Outside of being professional, all the makeup artists appeared to genuinely enjoy their job, which I think is essential in order to get quality work done. Needless to say of all my friends who got their makeup done elsewhere, mine was the only one that lasted all day through jumping up and down, dancing and sweating like a pig. Some of the jewel came of my face BUT only because one of my nuisance friends kept taking them off just for the fun of it. I have been researching Queens stylists that silk press natural hair with Edward scissor hand skills for months. A good friend researched Polish on Yelp and was styled by Keith and I was convinced I should visit for my silk press and trim. There were a few clients ahead of my appointment time, so Keith kindly introduced himself and explained that his assistant David would take me to the sink to wash my hair. What followed was pure bliss. David was a sweetheart. Highly entertaining and has magic hands. My shampoo scalp massage was a answer to a prayer! He washed my hair thoroughly and used great products. He did not struggle to detangle my hair so my blow out was seamless. He took his time and the service was worth every penny spent. Best shampoo I've ever had. The products used on my hair were great. Not heavy or cheap. Keith silk pressed me and trimmed my hair for the Grand Finale to give it dimension and body. The results were exactly what I desired. The lash tech that did my eyebrows was not happy to be there , it felt as if I was begging her to do my lashes as oppose to paying her. She didn't seem very experienced , she kept removing lashes that she put on (painful), she glued lashes to my skin , I can literally see the white glue stains on my eyelid. I thought Sashe had potential , but now it seems that they are inconsistent. Not sure if I will return. Review #1 - September 2017 Sashe brow and Lash Bar is great - very well kept and clean. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is bc I feel it took a while for my lashes to get done (about an hour and a half) & also I had an appointment at 2 but wasn't seen until about 2:45. The quality looks great though so it was worth it. Clean up the execution a little and you guys will be great.

I know they say beauty is pain but I thought I paid for enough to not have to stand in order to preserve a mediocre set of lashes. This is the result of paying half price the city price for my lashes. I get half price the quality. This place was not ready for opening. Everyone needs training and the owner needs some business management professional development training.
