They charged us $82.00 to vacuum a little dog hair. There was some dog hair on the floor the boat I cleaned 1/4 of the off in less than 2 minutes. We brought the boat back 2 1/2 hours early. There isn't much of a beach, unlike other places on the lake, but great to take a boat from. Nearby islands and Polson close by too. Montana state license plate gets you in free for day use. Overnight is $24/night and they are often full. Best bet is to reserve online. Campground will be undergoing remodeling soon, which will be nice. The best option is tent camping in my opinion, because the RV sites are much too close together. The bathrooms have a serious smell problem. Great for families and long term or short term camping. Wild animals frequent area, so be bear aware. I've seen two just in the campground.

Then I read about it being the largest natural freshwater lake by surface area west of Mississippi. About 30 miles southwest of Glacier National Park 2 highways run along the west side and the east respectively .. U.S. Route 93 west side, and on the east, is Route 35. The water is so clean and clear .. though we stopped for a little while .. I think one could plan a day's stop for the water activities or to just relax and enjoy the lake view .. probably go to the town and get some fresh harvest.
