I honestly can't give enough praise to the people over at Northwest Montana Adventure. Ever since employee there was an absolute pleasure! Our guides name was Scott and he was a blast. Explained all our questions, took us to some amazing viewpoint, let us ride over a frozen lake. This was an absolutely amazing experience will definitely come back whenever I am back in Montana. PS. They make an amazing Bacon, egg, and cheese if you're hungry!

Rented two side by sides. Left out of Olney, Mt. Rode 60 miles through the mountains to Polebridge and on to the North Fork of GNP. Continued up to Kintla Lake. Wonderful machines. Wonderful time. Easy rentals. Radio, maps, bungee cords. Had a great day! Thanks!

Cannot say enough about how fabulous NW Montana Adventures is!! Fantastic, friendly staff, reliable and safe equipment, and great flexibility!! We rented sleds delivered to our farm for a full day of fun, and three days later enjoyed a wonderful guided trail ride. These two days were the highlight of our holiday and we will be recommending them to everyone AND we will be back!! Thank you so again so much!!

My girlfriends and I came to Whitefish for some winter fun and decided to snow mobile. I found this company online and decided to book after reading reviews. I'll be honest we are from the city so definitely more high maintenance then their usual clientele- but they were great! The lady at the front desk ( I didn't get her name) she was very helpful with my girlfriend , and even suggested fun things to do in the area. Our guide Vinny was a saint!!!! He was cracking jokes, always felt safe, and was very professional. He brought us to Werner peak and the views of glacier we're out of this world! Thanks for being a great company and 10/10 recommend!

Thanks for the awesome tour, Cameron!

Don't book your snowmobile adventures anywhere but here! Northwest Montana Adventures is absolutely the BEST in the area! We had booked a guided sunset tour through another tour company and felt totally underwhelmed by the experience so we sought out another tour. With the first tour, we were paired with people we didn't know who had very different comfort levels driving the machines, which resulted in a very slow/boring ride where we were always waiting for others to catch up. With Northwest Montana Adventures you get a PRIVATE guided tour, which allowed us to go at our own pace! Our initial call inquiring about a private tour gave insight into the team who operates this company. Every single person is excited to help you and excited about the work that they do. We completed our necessary paperwork and then were introduced to Cameron who was our guide for the half day tour. He did a great job explaining what the afternoon would entail and did a very thorough job of showing us how to properly and safely run the machines. Within 5 miles of this trip, our expectations were blown out of the park! Cameron constantly was checking on us throughout the trip and we got to cross ice covered lakes, see snow ghosts, see stunning views in all directions and more! When there was a beautiful photo opportunity, Cameron would stop and let us soak it all in for as long as we needed, taking photos for us as well. Another unique aspect of this tour is stopping at a yurt to warm up and have hot cocoa or tee and use a bathroom! We can't say enough about how great Cameron and the entire Northwest Montana Adventures team is! Experienced, reputable, professional, and safety focused. Looking forward to our next adventure!

The best snowmobiling adventure with memories to last a lifetime! My first guided tour and Cameron was the most knowledgeable and epic forest and snowmobiling whisperer. He truly knows and appreciates the sport and those woods like they're his own. You couldn't find a better experience, guaranteed!

Cannot recommend this place enough! Everyone we interacted with was so friendly and helpful, you could tell they genuinely wanted you to enjoy the experience. The UTV was brand new, comfortable, and a great time to drive! We got a map and were recommended a drive up to Polebridge with a couple beautiful lake stops on the way. They got us on the road quickly and without any hassle. A worthwhile adventure during our time here!

First thing for semantics. If you book an experience make sure you get the correct address northwest of Whitefish not the place Apple or Google maps defaults too next to a Mcdonalds and a neighborhood.....With that said, i had an absolute blast. We booked a short snowmobile tour and Hatter was our guide. It was valentines day and this was an absolute gem of a V-day date...Had a midway break in a yurt and being first time riders Hatter was a thorough and great host. Great time and already want to go again. Highly highly recommend! Thank you guys for making our V-day.

My wife and I came here and rented a side by side during the summer. The people were so friendly that when we came back we made it a point to rent snow mobiles and do a guided snow mobile trip. The trip was amazing! Brandon was our guide and was awesome. My wife, my young boys, my parents and my self all had a blast. I would highly recommend this company to anyone weather it be for snow mobile, side by sides, boats, they are just great people that make you feel like family.

This is going to be long, but please read. My husband and I visited Montana for the second time. We stayed again in Whitefish and wanted to look into snowmobiling. After looking at websites and scrolling through the options, I made a few calls. I was lucky enough to get Trish from this company on the phone. Her customer service was friendly, professional and most importantly very helpful. She was the reason I chose this company. We did not know the first thing about snowmobiling, so I wanted a guided tour and along with the advice from Trish, I decided half a day would be perfect. I read many reviews, before speaking with Trish and wanted to make sure we would have our own tour guide. I had come across many complaints about different groups getting clumped together and having to wait or catch up. She assured me that Northwest Montana Adventure did not do that. We got there 12-23-20 and started at 1:00 pm. Our tour guide was Cameron. He was super nice and welcoming from the start. He went as fast or slow as we wanted to go. He stopped at many places and explained where we were and what the scenery was. He even took us to an open spot, where we could turn loose. We were never clumped with any groups, which was great. I wanted this to be a special time with just my husband. It was so much fun! I saw the most beautiful sunset as we were coming down the mountain. It was deep purple, red and orange. It was absolutely breath taking! We stopped somewhere about half way and had snacks and drinks at the Yurt. The short rest was needed and we enjoyed talking with Cameron. He answered a bunch of questions we had about the surrounding area. My husband and I had a wonderful time. It is a memory we will never be able to put a price tag on. We definitely will do this again. I highly recommend trying it and going through Northwest Montana Adventure. Thank you Trish and Cameron for this awesome experience! God bless y'all! What a beautiful day. Our guide was friendly, had lived in the area for over 40 years, and knew every inch of the mountain. Took us to many lakes. We had so much fun.!!!

We booked a sunset tour with another company and wanted more. The next day we booked a half day with Northwest Montana Adventures. It was very different in the best way possible! 1. It was a PRIVATE half day tour! This is important so as a group you can get what you want out of the tour without having to wait for others. We had a desire to ride fast, when able, and we were able to accomplish that on this tour. 2. We rode for 34 miles, up and over the mountains (THIS WAS INCREDIBLE). We saw views of the lakes, snow ghosts, rode on some frozen lakes and so much more. Our guide, Cameron, allowed us to stop when we wanted to for pictures or ride on. This was phenomenal in comparison to the 5 miles we rode in half the time the day before. 3. Our guide Cameron was amazing! He greeted us while we signed some paperwork, oriented us to the machines and away we went. Cameron checked on us throughout the tour and provided guidance as needed. He made us some hot cider at the yurt while we warmed up by the fire before the trip was over too! These three points were the defining factors between the two experiences and were why we will 100% be booking again! Thanks to Cameron and his team!

We booked UTVs from Glacier Ridge Runners the night before and showed up excited for a full-day…read moreadventure. What we got instead was a dangerous, disappointing, and unprofessional experience that cut our trip short and raised serious safety concerns. When we arrived, the UTVs had severely scratched and clouded windshields--so bad you could barely see through them. This was supposed to be a sightseeing trip, but we literally couldn't see. It rained heavily (which we expected and were excited for), but due to the unsafe condition of the windows, our lead driver had to remove his entire windshield just to safely descend the mountain. As a result, he and his fiancée got soaked and freezing, and we were forced to end the trip early--not because of the weather, but because they were too cold and wet to continue after removing the windshield to safely descend the mountain. Meanwhile, we saw multiple other UTVs from the same company on the trail with clear, well-maintained windows, which proves they knew exactly what condition they sent us out in--and didn't care. That's not just poor customer service--it's blatant negligence. On top of that, the map they gave us was nearly worthless, and the trail we were sent on was so tame and mediocre, we could've enjoyed the same views from the comfort and safety of our own truck--with a window we could actually see out of. Which is probably a good thing, because given the state of our UTVs, we couldn't see where we were going anyway. When we brought the vehicles back and calmly asked for a refund, we were met with attitude and a dismissive, "It is what it is." They promised a call from the owner that never came. When we followed up, they refused to refund anything and acted like we were just complaining about the rain. We came to ride in the rain--that wasn't the issue. The issue was being sent out with unusable, unsafe equipment on cliffside trails. To make matters worse, we started digging into other customer reviews and found a disturbing pattern: Glacier Ridge Runners has a history of charging customers $9,000 or more for minor or questionable damage that should realistically cost only a few hundred dollars. This looks like a predatory business model, and we took detailed photos and documentation in case they attempt to pull the same stunt on us. We will be reporting this business to the Montana Office of Consumer Protection for both negligent safety practices and suspected fraudulent billing behavior. Avoid this place at all costs. Unsafe equipment, dishonest communication, shady billing tactics, and zero accountability. Rent elsewhere.

If you're going to rent from anyone, this is the place to do it…read more We booked a trip to Glacier from out of state, and the staff here was incredible, kind, patient, and super helpful. As first-timers to Montana, we had a lot of rookie questions, and they took the time to answer every one of them. They even worked with us around some last-minute changes to our park reservations. 10/10 experience!
