Unbelievably...this gem to the Flathead Valley/Bigfork Montana has excluded all local residents and…read moretourists from enjoying this hidden masterpiece of a golf course. For those of us who frequent Bigfork for its art galleries...festivals...rodeos...fishing and enjoying nearby Glacier National Park...golfing at Eagle Bend is NO LONGER offered to us mere mortals. What a shame that those in charge of this course have decided to make it a completely exclusionary club...for members only...where the buy in is only $18,000.00 up front membership fees (if you pass the vetting process of "you can be one of us" screenings) oh yes and the $375.00/month X12 ($4,500/yr) Local businesses...once they get word of this...and most have not currently...will lose out over time...as this course has drawn golfers here...for their short stay with family and friends is no more. The ciabatta bun was perfectly toasted with just the right amount of crispy, the burger was cooked well done, as I like it. I added the sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions. The mushrooms were fresh with a generous amount of minced garlic, the onions were super sweet. And the cheddar was melted over the onions so they stayed in place. The tomatoes were fresh and ripe, the pickles were garlicy dill. The tater tots were crispy and not over salted. Highly recommended. Hubby ordered soft tacos - 1 beef (shredded) and 1 chicken (chopped). He said the beef was really good, but the chicken didn't meet his standards. The pico de gallo was freshly made and fantastic, and the same for the chips. The garden salad was fresh and the ranch was tasty. The kids grilled cheese was super cheesey and my kid said it was the best ever. The kids Cheesy Rice and Beams is just what it says - Mexican rice and retried beans with shredded cheeses melted on top - perfect for our other kid. Wish I would have thought of pictures. But they all tasted great!

The patio is on the smaller side but perfectly adequate, and we really appreciated having a gas grill. The wood‑burning fireplace -- with wood provided -- was another highlight. We visited in mid‑June, and the Going‑to‑the‑Sun Road was still closed, so timing can definitely vary depending on the year. Even so, the scenery was gorgeous and the weather kept things interesting.
