The ciabatta bun was perfectly toasted with just the right amount of crispy, the burger was cooked well done, as I like it. I added the sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions. The mushrooms were fresh with a generous amount of minced garlic, the onions were super sweet. And the cheddar was melted over the onions so they stayed in place. The tomatoes were fresh and ripe, the pickles were garlicy dill. The tater tots were crispy and not over salted. Highly recommended. Hubby ordered soft tacos - 1 beef (shredded) and 1 chicken (chopped). He said the beef was really good, but the chicken didn't meet his standards. The pico de gallo was freshly made and fantastic, and the same for the chips. The garden salad was fresh and the ranch was tasty. The kids grilled cheese was super cheesey and my kid said it was the best ever. The kids Cheesy Rice and Beams is just what it says - Mexican rice and retried beans with shredded cheeses melted on top - perfect for our other kid. Wish I would have thought of pictures. But they all tasted great!

There were two foursomes in front of the group in front of me. They made the pace impossibly slow. Like 25+ minutes per hole. At a professional golf club someone would have checked on them and asked them to move quicker. Not here! I eventually had to skip 2 holes just to pass them. I don't know why all the high reviews honestly. I think for what it is a $10 9 hole round is a fair price, $15-20 with a cart. Price was $32 for 9 holes. Canyon River is like $38 for 9 holes. If you're an experienced golfer trust me just go spend the extra $6. Now, if you want to just practice or bring your family to golf this is a great place! Summary- the guy who worked there said that they have better greens than Canyon Grove. That is true... but unfortunately that is the only thing that is better about Highlands.
