Standard mom and pop restaurant. Croissant with ham, turkey and swiss fell apart immediately and had to be cut up to even eat. Biscuits and gravy definitely needed more sausage for flavor. I had a side of Cole slaw that needed a bit of onion in it. Cute place though.

Three of us stopped in for breakfast and lunch. The restaurant was over half full and seemed to be doing a brisk business. I missed the specials menu board on the way in but at $9 an entree they looked more like dinner options such as the Stuffed Bell Pepper. They used to be open for dinner daily but not anymore. I tried their Philly Cheesesteak which came in a Panini style. It was okay. I prefer my steak chopped up instead of sliced but no biggie. The fries were awesome! She went with the Turkey Club. Why we don't just split one of these because no one can ever finish what is basically two sandwiches, lol. The granddaughter has become a late sleeper and wanted breakfast. She had been here before so she ordered what she got last time, eggs, sausage, fruit and pancakes. Sometimes she doesn't put syrup on them but did this time. She ate everything at least halfway which is good for her, so no complaints from her.

This place is wonderful! The waitresses all make you feel like family and are so sweet and friendly every time you go. Their pigs in a blanket are delish! There's enough space for a family breakfast without feeling crowded or rushed.

The biscuits and gravy were under-seasoned and had very little sausage. The "Freedom toast" (French toast) was dry. I think there are better breakfast options if you go a little north. Flap Jacks has Fox News playing on multiple TVs, and they have their French toast called "Freedom toast," giving it kind of a January 6th vibe. The staff was friendly. I will not be going back.

My daughter brought me back brunch while visiting there for breakfast. I had the hungry man skillet! Wishthe ham pieces were a bit smaller but everything was quite delish:

The portion sizes were enough for two meals! The fries were seasoned well, hot and crispy and the grilled cheese had a wonderful flavor. Adding pesto and tomato really elevates this comfort food. It's a hybrid between a breakfast spot and a cigar lounge vibe. We digged it! After sitting down our very friendly waitress came over and took our order. We ordered the orange sunrise mocktail, a quinoa bowl, gluten free pancakes and the California club omelette. Everything was AMAZING. Not one thing was bad. The omelette was one of the best if not the best I've ever had. Stuffed FULL of all the mix ins and cheese with yummy breakfast potatoes. The star of the show was the gluten free pancakes. They were stellar!! Would highly recommend. This place is one of the easiest 5/5 I've ever given. 100% would recommend!!

The cocktail actually had some heat, and the glass was rimmed with Everything Bagel Seasoning. I'd never had that before. It was a tasty touch. The candied bacon garnish was divine. We ended up ordering a second round. The Jalapeño Deviled Eggs are outstanding. Smooth and creamy, topped with jalapeño and candied bacon. Every bite was a pleasure. For entrees, I got the Bourbon Jalapeño Shrimp. It had a light kick and tasted incredible. My husband ordered the Rise & Shine Chicken Biscuit. It was all tasty, but that biscuit was fluffy and salty, exactly how a good biscuit should be. Our server made the whole meal. She was friendly and patient with me even though I was having more trouble than usual deciding what to order. She also mixed our Bloody Marys, so she was working double duty and doing it well. The space strikes a balance between sophisticated and casual, so you can dress up or keep it relaxed and feel comfortable either way. We'll definitely be back!

The half biscuit portion was generous. This is not your grandma's biscuits and gravy! I will say this was the best biscuits and gravy that I ever tasted. My husband had a chocolate muffin that was beautiful and huge. Melty chocolate chips sat on top. He was in chocolate heaven. I went in and was seated - and then waited nearly ten minutes for a server to come get my drink order. The restaurant isn't fancy, and I noticed several tables that were empty but still had dirty dishes. Maybe they had a rush that left... but the tables set with the dirty dishes for a while. I ordered an omelet, which came with two pancakes and hash browns. The pancakes were good, but the hash browns were somewhat cold and not crispy. I wanted sausage, onion, mushroom and pepper jack cheese in the omelet - it came as I ordered, but it was a slice of pepper jack cheese that was just laid inside the egg. It was hard to eat the omelet, since the cheese usually binds everything together. The server was nice, and the bill had cash vs credit costs. Overall it was okay, but definitely could use some improvements.

They gave us what had to be the quietest table in the place and it was perfect for conversation (although I think most tables would have been totally fine). Excellent food - I had the filet - wonderful sear and flavor. Mashed potatoes paired very well with it. Great peanut butter pie to wrap up the night! Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well. Above and beyond service - My original entree turned out to be out of stock. I told them it was no big deal, but they suggested the filet as a substitute, comped it despite it being pricier, and kept the generosity going all night. They obviously hold themselves to a very high standard. Friendly bar - Some of us arrived early and the bar was an awesome place to hang out before our reservation. Giving this 2 stars instead of 1 only because we love SC. [giving this review on behalf of my parents who are not on Yelp] We sat outside on a beautiful evening, and it took 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were there. A server finally noticed us and went ahead took our order while trying to find out who was supposed to take care of us. Things unfortunately failed to go up from there. One of our entrees, a salad, was delivered right away--before our drinks and complimentary bread. The salad also didn't have dressing. The bread was then delivered without the dipping sauce. Our drinks still had not arrived. We had been pointing all of these mishaps out to the server and eventually manager. The manager offered us a free dessert, which, while appreciated, was not what we needed. We needed the bread dipping sauce, our drinks, the other entree and the dressing to the salad. The other entree was delivered, followed by drinks and dipping sauce. No dressing though. I could keep going. The point is, nothing was on par with Stone Creek, Cunningham restaurants...or any restaurant I want in Greenwood. Hoping management can right this one example of a consistent breakdown of the system. I believe it can and will be done! Onward!
