My family and I go here a lot. My husband swears they have the best wings around beating out Hurricane and Buffalo Wild Wings. I love their Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich which I get blackened and is awesome every time. My son loves the ribs. When we bring our dog and sit outside, they make sure he has water. The staff is always awesome and the food is good and inexpensive. We will continue to frequent this place when hungry. read more

I don't remember this place being so horrible during the season. Off season, it clearly is not staffed or managed to the same standards. We had a 45 minute wait to eat, then another 35 before we saw any food. The kids burger was like a black hockey puck and the nachos were burned on the outside and soggy on the inside. Don't go here unless it's January, February or March. Two stars instead of one because the beer is cheap. read more

One of the best lunch special offerings, Their hamburger meat is good enough to order it medium rare. Not gourmet, but good food with an array of choices and reasonable prices.. Service is always excellent and the atmosphere is great. Good for a casual meal with classic rock playing in the background, but not overwhelmming. read more

Come here alllll the time with my friends usually two or three times a week to drink. We have never had a problem with our servers splitting our bills or keeping track of who ordered what shots/drinks/food/ etc. until tonight it was a slow Friday night and we decided to sit on the patio and wanted to sit at the high tops. They haven't been bussed but there was no one there so we asked for the table. No one had bussed it so we just sat ourselves and waited for a server. Our servers name was Juan and we as a whole had never experienced such neglect from a server. Several of us had questions or needed to order things and he would just talk to one of us and quickly run away like he was avoiding taking our orders. This happened all night and we constantly had to keep reminding him for things. There was only 5 of us and he was terrible. At the end of the night he had charged us all double even triple of what we got and was being very difficult and snappy with the group of us. Meanwhile we are all in the restaurant business and know what it is like. He was too confused and said he was getting the manager. An hour later the manager comes and is even being more difficult with our group when we're being kind and respectful. She made us pay an extra $62 on our tab and was so hard headed the whole night. What happened to the customer is always right??? Will never be returning we are generous tippers and this will effect the business. read more

I ate a "Thanksgiving Special" meal at this Flanigans. It was the worst Thanksgiving meal i've ever eaten, I can't believe any restaurant would serve up something this bad. This was my final visit to any Flanigans. The Turkey was a pressed loaf thing, rubbery no texture, instant mashed potatoes, and "stuffing" that reminded me of stuffing flavored saw dust. My one-spoon plastic tub of cranberry surprise was partially frozen. The highlight of the meal was 2 little dinner rolls. Shortly afterward, the waiter removed the "special" menu at all the tables and when a large group came in they were all offered something else. I actually went to Boston Market the next day, there was no comparison, Boston Market was a far better meal at half the cost. read more

Guess what wanted to have a good lunch ...but I guess they forgot to see me ...waited 15 minutes for a server a big fat "fucking zero " no service they just walk pass you like you are a ghost use to be a good place ...now it sucks ! And no wireless service !! Beware ! read more

We did crub side take out the other day at Flanigans in Wellington when we had to go for some groceries. Carmine and I asked the waitress if the chicken wings where hot or spicy or have any black or white pepper on them and she said no. I have a allergy to anything with these items in it.Than she said we have garlic sauce which has nothing in it. So we ordered them. When we came home to I tasted one of the wings and they where super spicy and had pepper on them. My face got swelled and I broke our with hives. I called them up and and spoke to the manager Kelly and she really did not care to much about what happened. Had to take benadryl and put lotion all over. I called the next day to tell them I broke out with hives and kelly said would you like to make a incident report I said yes out and I asked her why did you not ask me that last night. She would not give me a answer. She told me that the wings are marinated in spice and pepper. I think they should tell their people what is in there food or go ask the chef if they do not know. I called the corporate office two days in a row and left messages and no one called back. I am not happy with anything about this establishment.i will not be going back there again. This is why we eat home . read more

We had the pleasure of dining at Flanigans on State Rd 441. The food was just as expected. The server Chevi, was like having dinner with an old friend. He could not have been more attentive and helpful. We will for sure be back and will most definitely request sitting in Chevi's section. read more

We went here last Saturday, place was really busy, waited an hour for a table. Alexis promptly greeted us and we ordered the Rib Rolls for an appetizer. They were ok, probably wouldn't get them again. I ordered the Caribbean burger and my gf ordered a Blackened Chicken Caesar Salad. Burger was big and cooked perfectly, the salad was one of the largest salads I've ever seen and you got about 12 lbs of chicken. Ok, probably not that much but you definitely got your money's worth. Service was good, all in all a good meal read more

Have eaten here several times-- it's a happy place with good food until a most recent visit when EVERYTHING went wrong - and so wrong that everyone should take note and should not dine here - EVER! No restaurant is perfect and there is always a bad day or moment. For example, when you are waiting for food for a half hour and kind of notice other tables (4 of them) that sat after you get their food you have the right to question, even as the server is noticing and wanting to check on it. After our server was checking on the order, the manager Rick proceeds to tell my wife our order has only been in 27 minutes without any apologies and it's coming. After I walked over to talk to him to see what was happening and referencing a point of my finger into the kitchen and to the tables served that sat after us he threatened to call the cops to have me removed. What a joke. The GM then came out as Rick was raising his voice with me and trying to walk me out. The GM, while calm, offered no apology or offer to make things right for us just that the kitchen was behind and our order was in now for only 34 minutes -- and that his manager informed me of this, all the while not apologizing or offering a single word of positive to my family and without being able to explain 4 other tables after us who had entrees and happily enjoying Flannigans really good fare. Again, restaurants have bad days it happens, and you go back because of good food and things were made right BUT when this abhorrent outcome and threat occurs fire the management and put the lights out and call it a night. read more

Ken (manager), Chase (server) and the staff were awesome!! We had a party of ten with kids on a busy Friday night and everyone was very friendly, professional and accommodating. Two in our party had over cooked burgers and it was handled with class. Five stars for excellent service!! read more

has an obscene service charge of 3 dollars just for carry out that you have to pick up from the restaurant. As a matter of principal I will not return to Flanigans. read more

I decided to pop in to Flanagan's, having eaten there before. And instead of sitting at the table, I chose to sit at the bar. The bartender (Justin) was amazing and attentive. His dry sense of humor kept us on our toes, but he was fun to chat with and kept our drinks full. I had the Sammy Oktoberfest. It was fresh, tasted clean which leads me to believe that the keg was full and the lines were clean. We had nachos (which were huge and delicious and I chose to go for a philly cheesesteak (which is tough for me having been to Philly several times). I have to say it was actually a very good sandwich. Nothing will ever beat a real Philly, but the bread was soft, the meat was chopped and the cheese oozed throughout. The fries were a bit stale, but tolerable. The atmosphere was decent. Several games in the back of the restaurant, restrooms were clean. The bar was nice. Outside was a bit congested. Seems like that was a last-second ditch effort to throw in some tables outside to accommodate the weather. I feel I'd get a bit claustrophobic sitting out there. But the bar was fun, several guests hanging out having a good time. A great time, great location, and good food. We'll be back! read more

We arrived and put our name in with the front desk. They stated about a 15 min wait. 30 min later we had not been seated but were noticing other tables being sat that came in after us. When inquiring how much longer, we were told 30 to 40 min. We then saw another table of 8 getting sat and our table of 6 still had not? We were then told that they were waiting for a 6 top to open up. We asked to be sat at the 8top and they would not. The girls manning the hostess stand were screwing around and not being attentive at all and had no intent to seat our family as they then started to seat another family. At this point we left and I hate to say I will never return. Been going there longer then the hostess has been alive. Sad it is. I have seen other reviews mention color which I do not want to go there but if we were a black family we would have been seated sooner as that was what kept getting ahead of us. Next stop Channel 12. First of all, I have to say that I have bren a fan of the Flannigans restaurants since they were originally known as "Big Daddies". I love the tuna and Mahi especially and have rarely been disappointed in the food. That said, this is possibly the worst Flannigans in the chain. On more than one occasion, there was no host at the front. But when we sat down at a table ourselves, we were told that it would be possibly 20 or 30 minutes until a server actually came to that spot! Even when we were assigned a table, the servers are typically forgetful, inefficient and otherwise terrible. Often, you will be served something completely wrong. Another problem with this location is that the food takes forever to get out of the kitchen. There is a revolving door of managers so you never actually know who is in charge. If you really must go to Flannigans, go to the West Palm Beach location on Dixie; way way better. read more

Flanigan's is a neighborhood staple. The food is always good. We like the tuna as a meal or a sandwich. They have lunch specials daily, and are always busy. read more

This is a sports bar that serves better than average food. The burgers and the fish are fresh not frozen. We had the mahimahi and it was good although over seasoned. A common problem at bars. Salty food sells more drinks. The curly fries tasted like oily cardboard and the sweet potato fries were burnt. Service was adequate but not welcoming. The biggest problem was a pack of eight year olds yelling running through the restaurant playing tag without any adult supervision. The managers ignored it even though dozens of tables were annoyed. Despite all this it is still better than Duffys Brus and Applebys. read more

Awful!! The waitress had no personality and was just plain not nice and friendly. We all got the ribs - they were dry. The greeters were fantastic. However the young man that calls out names when the tables are ready (on this day 03/11/17) need to be a tat bit more careful how he communicates with the greeters in the presence of the customers. THANK YOU ALEXIS!!! 5 stars for ALEXIS! read more

I have been going to Flanigans for over 25 years in the Hallandale Beach area The food was consistently good until I moved to the Wellington area where I had to deal with inconsistency in the food at Flanigans I ordered the lunch special pasta with chicken salad and tasted a tasteless chicken salad Wow Flanigans was my dependable lunch stop renowned for their consistently in all their dishes until now I took for granted that all Flanigans in south Florida followed the same recipes but that wasn't the case in Wellington The chicken salad in Hallandale is excellent but in Wellington it was tasteless and not close to Flanigans standards I called the manager over and he was very ambivalent and he told me next time let him know and he will send it back Poor public relations not even apologizing for the sub par dish I left and called the Corporate Office of Flanigans to notify them of the inconsistency of their food at Wellington I spoke to the operator and requested to speak to the General Manager The woman refused to give me the GM informing me that they don't deal with customer problems Really since when is Flanigans not concerned with customers? Original owner Joe Flanigans created a successful restaurant chain based on appeasing the customers I seen Joe in the mid 1990s going around every table shaking customers hands Maybe Flanigans needs to bring back that concept or maybe the GM is less sensitive to the customers needs read more

Gets a bit crowded and you may have to wait, but a good meal at a fair price and consistent.

I guess I would give it 3.5 stars if I could. I called for a reservation and was told I didn't need one nor did they take them. I arrived and waited 25 minutes which is not terribly long, but they had reserved tables that were not allowed to use. Service was good once we were sat and food was ok. Not a favorite, probably better as a lunch spot that dinner. I'd put it on par as a tgi fridays. read more

The hostess and the manager at the Wellington location leave a lot to be desired. The hostess was rude and had no idea what she was doing. This is probably a reflection on the manager, Joe, who was equally as rude. He has no business being in management. I have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant by wait staff as I was by this manager. He made it a point to come to our table to be rude and arguementative. There are a lot of places to spend your money these days and I would recommend going somewhere else. read more

Service was good friendly very kid friendly and I enjoyed their cheeseburger very good and we had prime rib and excellent

Picked up a to-go order at the bar and left a tip. Unfortunately, I didn't realized that they had sneakily tacked on a service charge of over $5 onto the bill. Absolutely ridiculous! I have never heard of a place charging for to-go orders, especially one at their price level. Sorry for making your job easier by not clogging up your tables, slowing down your waiters, and allowing you not to have to worry about cleanup or washing dishes. This item should have been put right above the tax section if it is intended to be a tip. Doesn't appear to be very ethical if you ask me. Won't be returning to any Flanigan's because of it. read more

Well, yet another historically disappointing experience in a "successful" chain restaurant. 3:00 pm on Friday...looking for ncaa tourney hoops! 1 person at bar with 7 tv's, 1 on Heat (rerun) loss to Charlotte, 1 on NFL tv, 1 on F1 racing(not live), 2 on CNN and 2 on tourney hoops(same game!) FYI, 4 channels showing 4 different games noon-midnight! Asked for another game and (10-15mns later) they changed the ONE game on to the one I mentioned? As I left I asked why and bartender said only tv for satellite...wow! Must be great for football! Forgot to mention, my first request for tv change(via bartender) was unanswered..5 mns later she asked a guy to ask mgr for tv change(ear coms) and he responded "next person to ask I'm going to punch in face", overwhelmed at 3pm!?! Only imagine the friendly nature during rush! Didn't think a place could be below Applebees, congrats flanigans read more

Great place for happy hour! Good food, cheap drinks, great atmosphere. Love the nachos!

So it was okay, I got to the restaurant for a family/bday dinner and our server Brandon was nice. The issues was when we received our food. It took about two hours for one of us to get our wings not to mention that they messed up our order twice. The general manager was very rude. He did not want to listen, and was trying to blame my table for its mistakes. Brandon was so busy he was basically handling all of the outside tables on his own. The manager did not bother to help him. The manager also made Brandon our server pay for the wings the messed up when it wasn't his fault it was the kitchens fault. Also small things like never being checked up on, not getting silverware, or checking to see if we need something or need a refill. Super super upsetting. We ordered a brownie dessert for the birthday girl and even that, instead an apple pie was brought out. Sigh. I hope they get it together. read more

I have been going here since I was little and always enjoyed the staff. Tonight I went with my friend who was turning 21 in less than a hour. We went outside to smoke and the RUDE bartender who was rude to everyone at the bar. AMBER came outside to apparently check on us but was too scared to say anything. The manager JEAN came outside to our table of 4 with 3 of us being way over the age of 21.. he was aggressive and rude. He threatened to kick us out because he had "cameras" outside. He accused my friend who was turning 21 at this point in 7 MINUTES, that she was drinking our drinks outside and he would kick her out. My friend admitted she had a sip of my drink because I add salt and she wanted to taste it... he continued to yell and threaten us. He made us so uncomfortable with his hostility and he made a huge scene in front of everyone outside. We went inside to cash out. I mentioned to him that not ONE of our bartenders ided.... my friend was honest from the beginning that she was underage. What a complete SCAM this place is. If I could put 0 stars I would. I will never go back to this place. Chevy the server is the only reason this place is even half decent. read more

Food poisoning. Horrible. Never ever eat there. David and I both ordered separate things, but only shared the fish dip, upon arriving home about an hour later I'm puking, a few hours later David is sick as a dog, can't even get out of bed, neither can I, so this morning after being up all night i realize yea, it was dinner last night, at this point (24 hours later) Called to talk to the manager (Justin) and he acted like I was lying to him, saying David and I would have gotten sick at the same time and it takes 24 hours to feel symptoms. For one, our size difference, the amount we ate versus our body is the deciding factor in that. I've had food poisoning multiple times, I know the signs, I know everything we ate, the one thing we shared got us both sick. For people with sensitive stomachs like me, I can get sick as little at an hour. Unless you have a medical degree, don't tell me you're food didn't get me sick, or how long it takes. The food that didn't get us sick, sucked. Potato skins seemed old and reheated, the mozzarella sticks tasted like the frozen ones you get at the dollar store. His burger was undercooked in the middle burnt on the outside. I couldn't even stomach more then one sip of my drink. The server was very unfamiliar with the menu. They didn't even have the main things I went there for. Should have just left right then and there. Never ever coming back except to get my money back. The owners and staff should be more educated about food borne illnesses. Fish is one of the biggest causes of illness because most restaurants are cheap or just dirty and the bacteria in fish that gets you sick, starts in as little as an hour. I am food safe certified. I'm a chef, I went to culinary school. Screw that place! read more

Went to Flanigan's for the first time..We sat at the bar.. Our bar maid Jessie B. ( I guess B stood for Bitch because that was exactly what she was). We told her it was our first time there. She never offered us any information about specials or anything. She told us it was happy hour..My husband ordered a beer. We then ordered our dinner and asked her about rolls. She said it's too late you already ordered but if you would like garlic rolls I will have to charge you. She then asked if he wanted another beer to which he replied yes..When the bill came we questioned why one beer cost more money then the other..She said in a very nasty tone "I told you happy hour was over at 7" She then proceeded to throw our dishes and make faces. When my husband asked her what her problem was she ignored him. I went straight to a manager who really didn't care either. What a shame that one bad employee could ruin a good meal..
