On Monday's every pitcher comes with a giant plate of nachos that will not disappoint. The burgers are good, large and priced very fair, I recommend the Texas burger. They also run specials on a prime rib dinner with a baked potato, caeser salad, garlic rolls, and a soda for 15.99 which is a a lot of food for a really good price. I have been a fan of Flanigan's for more than 15 years, and I thought they were great before they went corporate and I stand by them now. I particularly like the Wellington location because it is a local watering hole for my fiancee and me. Their wings are some of the meatiest, the ribs are good, the blackened tuna hoagie is fun, and I personally love the bartender staff. While the food is good, their takeout service continues to be terrible. We order from there several times a month and there is always something wrong with the order. This evening, after checking the order, we again found something wrong with order. It was sent back to correct. Stupid me for not checking the order again, but was assured by the Waiter, it was correct. After driving 15 minutes back home, open the meals to find what was supposed to be corrected was not. A bacon chesseburger was sent back because it was missing the condiments ordered. When we got back home, the condiments were there, but now a bacon cheeseburger was missing the bacon. If this happened one time, it would be not big deal, but it continually happens. Where the heck is management to train the staff to read orders and get them to customers correctly. read more

It has a large dining area for families & groups. It also has a nice bar area that stays open late (2am) and has great daily happy hour (both early & late). I go to Flanigan's often and have a good meal but this time I called in an order for take out. Picked up my order and went home. I happened to notice my bill had a service charge of 10 percent which was $5.81 which was not mentioned to me. I called and they said the charge was for there containers. Excuse me,if I had dinner there I would not have been charged for taking my food home. Spoke to corporate and they said that's our policy for take out. They would not do anything. My family and I go here a lot. My husband swears they have the best wings around beating out Hurricane and Buffalo Wild Wings. I love their Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich which I get blackened and is awesome every time. My son loves the ribs. When we bring our dog and sit outside, they make sure he has water. We had a 45 minute wait to eat, then another 35 before we saw any food. The kids burger was like a black hockey puck and the nachos were burned on the outside and soggy on the inside. Come here alllll the time with my friends usually two or three times a week to drink. We have never had a problem with our servers splitting our bills or keeping track of who ordered what shots/drinks/food/ etc. until tonight it was a slow Friday night and we decided to sit on the patio and wanted to sit at the high tops. They haven't been bussed but there was no one there so we asked for the table. No one had bussed it so we just sat ourselves and waited for a server. Our servers name was Juan and we as a whole had never experienced such neglect from a server. Several of us had questions or needed to order things and he would just talk to one of us and quickly run away like he was avoiding taking our orders. This happened all night and we constantly had to keep reminding him for things. There was only 5 of us and he was terrible. At the end of the night he had charged us all double even triple of what we got and was being very difficult and snappy with the group of us. Meanwhile we are all in the restaurant business and know what it is like. He was too confused and said he was getting the manager. An hour later the manager comes and is even being more difficult with our group when we're being kind and respectful. She made us pay an extra $62 on our tab and was so hard headed the whole night. What happened to the customer is always right??? Will never be returning we are generous tippers and this will effect the business. read more

I eat here almost every week for lunch. Great quality burgers and a great value on the lunch specials. When people suggest duffy's I always suggest this place instead. The food is twice as good and costs half the price. My only complaint is that the wait to get a table is sometimes very long and their garlic rolls and inconsistant in quality. Great, relaxed environment. Good selection of seafood, BBQ, and great bar food. I've never had a bad meal here. The chicken philly is a personal favorite, but all their sandwiches are good. We did crub side take out the other day at Flanigans in Wellington when we had to go for some groceries. Carmine and I asked the waitress if the chicken wings where hot or spicy or have any black or white pepper on them and she said no. I have a allergy to anything with these items in it.Than she said we have garlic sauce which has nothing in it. So we ordered them. When we came home to I tasted one of the wings and they where super spicy and had pepper on them. My face got swelled and I broke our with hives. I called them up and and spoke to the manager Kelly and she really did not care to much about what happened. Had to take benadryl and put lotion all over. I called the next day to tell them I broke out with hives and kelly said would you like to make a incident report I said yes out and I asked her why did you not ask me that last night. She would not give me a answer. She told me that the wings are marinated in spice and pepper. I think they should tell their people what is in there food or go ask the chef if they do not know. I called the corporate office two days in a row and left messages and no one called back. I am not happy with anything about this establishment.i will not be going back there again. I ate a "Thanksgiving Special" meal at this Flanigans. It was the worst Thanksgiving meal i've ever eaten, I can't believe any restaurant would serve up something this bad. This was my final visit to any Flanigans. The Turkey was a pressed loaf thing, rubbery no texture, instant mashed potatoes, and "stuffing" that reminded me of stuffing flavored saw dust. My one-spoon plastic tub of cranberry surprise was partially frozen. The highlight of the meal was 2 little dinner rolls. Shortly afterward, the waiter removed the "special" menu at all the tables and when a large group came in they were all offered something else. I actually went to Boston Market the next day, there was no comparison, Boston Market was a far better meal at half the cost. read more

Have eaten here several times-- it's a happy place with good food until a most recent visit when EVERYTHING went wrong - and so wrong that everyone should take note and should not dine here - EVER! No restaurant is perfect and there is always a bad day or moment. For example, when you are waiting for food for a half hour and kind of notice other tables (4 of them) that sat after you get their food you have the right to question, even as the server is noticing and wanting to check on it. After our server was checking on the order, the manager Rick proceeds to tell my wife our order has only been in 27 minutes without any apologies and it's coming. After I walked over to talk to him to see what was happening and referencing a point of my finger into the kitchen and to the tables served that sat after us he threatened to call the cops to have me removed. What a joke. The GM then came out as Rick was raising his voice with me and trying to walk me out. The GM, while calm, offered no apology or offer to make things right for us just that the kitchen was behind and our order was in now for only 34 minutes -- and that his manager informed me of this, all the while not apologizing or offering a single word of positive to my family and without being able to explain 4 other tables after us who had entrees and happily enjoying Flannigans really good fare. Again, restaurants have bad days it happens, and you go back because of good food and things were made right BUT when this abhorrent outcome and threat occurs fire the management and put the lights out and call it a night. read more

I decided to pop in to Flanagan's, having eaten there before. And instead of sitting at the table, I chose to sit at the bar. The bartender (Justin) was amazing and attentive. His dry sense of humor kept us on our toes, but he was fun to chat with and kept our drinks full. I had the Sammy Oktoberfest. It was fresh, tasted clean which leads me to believe that the keg was full and the lines were clean. We had nachos (which were huge and delicious and I chose to go for a philly cheesesteak (which is tough for me having been to Philly several times). I have to say it was actually a very good sandwich. Nothing will ever beat a real Philly, but the bread was soft, the meat was chopped and the cheese oozed throughout. The fries were a bit stale, but tolerable. The atmosphere was decent. Several games in the back of the restaurant, restrooms were clean. The bar was nice. Outside was a bit congested. Seems like that was a last-second ditch effort to throw in some tables outside to accommodate the weather. I feel I'd get a bit claustrophobic sitting out there. We arrived and put our name in with the front desk. They stated about a 15 min wait. 30 min later we had not been seated but were noticing other tables being sat that came in after us. When inquiring how much longer, we were told 30 to 40 min. We then saw another table of 8 getting sat and our table of 6 still had not? We were then told that they were waiting for a 6 top to open up. We asked to be sat at the 8top and they would not. The girls manning the hostess stand were screwing around and not being attentive at all and had no intent to seat our family as they then started to seat another family. At this point we left and I hate to say I will never return. Been going there longer then the hostess has been alive. Sad it is. However the young man that calls out names when the tables are ready (on this day 03/11/17) need to be a tat bit more careful how he communicates with the greeters in the presence of the customers. First of all, I have to say that I have bren a fan of the Flannigans restaurants since they were originally known as "Big Daddies". I love the tuna and Mahi especially and have rarely been disappointed in the food. That said, this is possibly the worst Flannigans in the chain. On more than one occasion, there was no host at the front. But when we sat down at a table ourselves, we were told that it would be possibly 20 or 30 minutes until a server actually came to that spot! Even when we were assigned a table, the servers are typically forgetful, inefficient and otherwise terrible. Often, you will be served something completely wrong. Another problem with this location is that the food takes forever to get out of the kitchen. There is a revolving door of managers so you never actually know who is in charge. If you really must go to Flannigans, go to the West Palm Beach location on Dixie; way way better. read more

This is a sports bar that serves better than average food. The burgers and the fish are fresh not frozen. We had the mahimahi and it was good although over seasoned. A common problem at bars. Salty food sells more drinks. The curly fries tasted like oily cardboard and the sweet potato fries were burnt. Service was adequate but not welcoming. The biggest problem was a pack of eight year olds yelling running through the restaurant playing tag without any adult supervision. The managers ignored it even though dozens of tables were annoyed. I have been going to Flanigans for over 25 years in the Hallandale Beach area The food was consistently good until I moved to the Wellington area where I had to deal with inconsistency in the food at Flanigans I ordered the lunch special pasta with chicken salad and tasted a tasteless chicken salad Wow Flanigans was my dependable lunch stop renowned for their consistently in all their dishes until now I took for granted that all Flanigans in south Florida followed the same recipes but that wasn't the case in Wellington The chicken salad in Hallandale is excellent but in Wellington it was tasteless and not close to Flanigans standards I called the manager over and he was very ambivalent and he told me next time let him know and he will send it back Poor public relations not even apologizing for the sub par dish I left and called the Corporate Office of Flanigans to notify them of the inconsistency of their food at Wellington I spoke to the operator and requested to speak to the General Manager The woman refused to give me the GM informing me that they don't deal with customer problems Really since when is Flanigans not concerned with customers?
