We were very disappointed when we went for dinner at Flannigan's which we have been patrons of for over 10 years. Usually, their food is very good but today, there was a material change in the cooking and size of the portions on their Joe's Meal Deal. It used to be one of the best deals in town but when we received our Prime Rib Dinner we could not believe our eyes. The Prime Rib was 50% smaller than it usually was and the slice was so thin that it looked like a slice of Roast Beef! The meat was tough, the Iced Tea tasted like dishwater with no flavor of tea at all. The entire experience except for the server was horrible. Whoever the cook or manager was that decided to take this cut in food quality and quantity is going to be very surprised when they start losing a ton of business. read more

Ok, Flanigans has earned a huge updated review from me. Friends invited us back and so glad they did. Had great wings, ribs and beer the first time. So good a couple weeks later, we came back tonight. Smoked fish (okay) and ribs (awesome). Our server Chevi truly brought smiles to our faces with some of the best service we have had in a long time. Manager, Ken, came by and another kind and warm interaction. So I am a fan now. Flanigans will be in our rotation. Look for their specials each night. You really cannot go wrong with Flanigan's. The servers are always friendly & attentive. The food is great. There are a variety of menu options that never miss & the drink specials are nearly unbeatable. A friend & I decided to have dinner here on Sunday while catching the game. I expected the restaurant to be busy but the wait was longer than I generally expected. The manager Jamie assured us we would be attended to soon & explained how the kitchen was understaffed & backed up. Jamie was very kind, she made polite small talk with us & as she promised, we did not have to wait much longer before being seated at a table inside across from the bar. Our waitress quickly brought us waters as we pondered over the menu. As appetizers we settled on the garlic rolls & the firecracker shrimp. The firecracker shrimp were delicious as always but this was my first time ordering the garlic rolls & I'm surprised I've been missing out this long. They were the best garlic rolls I've ever had, hands down. They will definitely become my go-to appetizer from this day forward. As an entree I decided on the chipotle chicken stack sandwich with fries as my side. Portion size was huge, I'm proud I almost finished it. The chicken was seasoned nicely and I like that the chipotle sauce was put on the side so I could decide on how much I wanted to use. Overall I would order this dish again. The drink specials for the day were phenomenal, however, I was highly disappointed in the taste of their ultimate margarita. I ordered a sweet tea to go which might as well had been an unsweet tea. We like Flanigan's and eat there regularly. On 12/18 we placed out first pick up order on line which was confirmed but, when we went to pick up it up, it was obvious this restaurant does not look at on-line orders. We had our printed confirmation with us but had to verbally restate the order on site. When my son arrived home, we found we were missing all the sides in addition to the free cole slaw, lemon and tarter sauce and two salads, but we were only charged for one salad. I called and spoke with Kelly, the supposed manager, on 12/22 to arrange a credit for the missing items. We did not call the same night because my husband is in "Hospice at Home" and we had some issues to address for him. Kelly told me Flanigan's does nothing about wrong orders and it was our responsibility to check the order before leaving. She was not exactly rude, just dismissive and unwilling to do anything to help even when I explained the reason for the delayed call. Anyone who has ever cared for a Hospice patient will know that time is a precious commodity. I am shocked at Kelly's attitude and cannot believes Flanigan's will never, per Kelly, take action to rectify their mistakes on take-out orders and that errors with pick-up must be detected before leaving the premises. Kelly needs remedial customer service training and Flanigan's needs to revisit their policies if indeed Kelly was accurate in her explanation of Flanigan's practices. I think Corporate management would be very disapproving of the way Kelly spoke with me but perhaps she was having a bad day. The food and service on site is always excellent but their pick-up orders procedures need help. read more

I would like to specifically offer thanks to manager, Jamie, who is always --- every time we visit --- so helpful, on top of things and super-nice. I'd also like to thank our server, Hannah, who was such a pleasure---she is also very attentive, helpful, funny and kind. I would like to express our general appreciation to your whole Flanigan's team in Wellington. One of the big things we deeply appreciate is how COVID-safe this restaurant is. From staggering guests, to offering a hand-sanitizing station out front, to constantly sanitizing tables inside and outside the restaurant, to making sure all tables are properly distanced, and to making sure that all servers (and guests) are consistently wearing masks. This shows a real commitment to the health, safety and peace of mind of all customers and staff alike. On top of that, the food is, as always completely amazing. I would find another Flanigan's. The prime rib was the thinnest and fattiest we've ever had. The baked potato was burnt on the bottom which flavored the whole potato. The service was slow, and they are very rigid about their specials rules. It was early in the evening so it wasn't packed but the service was slow. We were looking forward to this meal since the last time we went on 10th Ave in Lake Worth was so wonderful. We won't be back to this one. Sad we wasted our time trying it. read more

I had a lot of time to think about a review for Flanigan's thanks in part to having a 50 minute wait before our party got to sit down. If there's one word I could use to describe this place it would be random. The menu, the fish decor, the face of old man Flanigan watching your every move (literally his face is everywhere). Everything was all over the place. The identify crisis of trying to define this place as a seafood bar and grill when they were apparently known for their burgers and ribs was quite questionable as well. I ordered the big daddy burger knowing that you can't screw up a burger right? Wrong. The burger obviously had been sitting under a heat lamp so by the time I received it the fries were cold, the cheese on the burger was already hardening and I struggled with each bite to try and find something positive to say about the burger. If there's anything good about this place it was the egg rolls and endless jokes my family made about the restaurant. Would I come back? No. The drink specials seemed all to good to be true and honestly I think I know why. We had dinner here. I let the server Kat know I wanted steak house soup to go for lunch the next day at the Highschool I work at. She brought our check without asking if there was anything else. I reminded her of the steak house soup to go. So she took our check and added the soup. My husband paid the check. My friend ordered one more round. We sat there for at least another 20 minutes. No soup. Got home and realized she never gave me my soup. We come here all the time. I called. Was put on hold for over 5 minutes waiting for the manager at a busy dinner time. I understand. I was excited to receive the Rib Deal email today and decided to try the take out option. What a mistake. I've had the ribs in the restaurant before and they were quite good. This time The Ribs were really dry like they had been left on the grill for a long time....almost like eating jerky. Very nasty. I forgot to do a checking in. We went to Flanagan in Wellingtons sat evening July 8th. It was by far the freshest, hottest, best meal we have ever had there. Our waitress Arlene was very good and very personable, very good at her job. 2 out of four of our group had Burgers and myself and friend had Cajun chicken and pasta. Trust me you have to try this dish, excellent.Also Yuengling draft was only 2.50. The place was packed,it's worth the drive. Treat yourself, you won't be disappointed. read more

Food is always good never have a complaint . when it came time for the check, another story. Been a waitress my whole career come from a line of Resturant people . I told the young lady that I wanted my change because we always pay in cash. Mind you I get five dollars in coin every day before I start my shift because I know that it's not OK to ever keep anyone's money and when I give change, I give all the way down to the Penny. I have a dish in my room where I take my extra change and I roll it three times a year and I come up with about $1200. With that said, the young lady brought me two dollars and she owed me $.48. I know $.48 isn't any money but to me a person who saves her change it is it's not even about the money. It's the principal. As far as I'm concerned it constitutes a stealing. I pay the check what is required of me down to the Penny I don't believe that anyone has any right to take it upon themselves to decide whether I should get all my coin or none of it all , If they went around up or down they should round down and I should get the extra money , not in somebody else's pocket , and it's not about the money it again , It is the principal . So I was able to get to a close restaurant from the hotel, Flanigan's. Today's special was buy a pitcher of beer get ten wings free!!! Seriously... So great service from Krystal and clean up from Nick. Excellent service! Nina came by and provided great customer service and conversation. I had wings with hot sauce very flavorful.
