Fanigan's is a South FL staple... it's just great. Don't come here and expect some culinary mastery... you'd be making a mistake. What you see is what you get! Flanigan's makes their food the way everyone really wants their food to be made - Saucy, buttery, etc. the food is all very savory. It's a darker dive-style restaurant with a classic nautical theme, great bar, and outdoor seating. It's a great spot to watch a sports game and get drinks, bar food, and have large groups. Ribs are legendary, nachos are huge (highly recommend), and seafood gumbo is excellent. My two favorite sandwiches are the Chicken Stack and the Blackened Tuna Hoagie. I highly recommend Flanigan's to anyone visiting South FL! This Wellington location specifically is not the best location. I prefer the location near downtown West Palm Beach. read more

We have been here a few times for quick cheap food. Nothing huge is ever expected. The front desk crew is always professional and nice, and usually our servers are attentive enough. Tonight? I'd happily pay more fire better service. My first salad came out wrong. I ordered their salad salad without bacon and it came out a Caesar with bacon. But the clincher was the chicken on top was ice cold and definitely not medium spicy. I sent it back. At the same time I ordered another glass of wine. The second salad came back as the right salad with no bacon, and the chicken was warmer but still had parts that were cold but at least there was buffalo sauce on it. I can't figure out how they heated it because it was the ends that were the coldest and they had no micro but whatever. At that point I asked hot the manager and still had no wine. Eventually it all came out correctly but the chicken wasn't at all spicy and my husband had completely finished his dinner by that time. The manager in the meantime had sat down with some friends at a table across from us, and spent the whole time chatting after he corrected my order. They're probably patting themselves on the back for the glass of wine they comped but it wasn't really worth it. Perhaps if the server had been a bit more hands on or the manager was more interested in managing than socializing dinner wouldn't have been that much or a train wreck. I prefer this location of Flanigan's due to the amazing customer service provided and the food here always comes out great. The other location I've been to is the one in Jensen beach which is also good but doesn't compare to this location. I recommend coming here and if you get Carson just know you will leave happy. I was wondering if I can book an advance and actually reserve a table since we were so large and I knew that they were going to have a hard time seating us. On Saturday/Sunday they have happy hour from 11 am until 7 pm, which includes 50 percent off beer wine and liquor. Had the ribs and wings combo with fully loaded baked potato. They never disappoint. Service was horrible. Wouldnt give a party of 14 the party room because " its only for 22+ groups" which is a lie. Weve been in that room plenty of times. Then the hostest told us we will be split into 2 groups in 2 seperate booths and were just waiting for people to get up. Then the called us and said our table was ready, just to say no its not. Gaslight much? They said 10 more minutes. Yet we already have been waiting for an hour. Just to wait 30 more. Came in at 4/14 7:10, seating at 8:45 When they called us for a SECOND time they said the only option they had was hightops outside. When we told them, and they told us they are giving us a booth inside. Its hot and humid and the fans were off. And they split our group up. To top it off whenever we asked the manager a question he had an attitude. He never apologized, or even acknowledged the most disgusting service we have ever received. It took 10 minutes just to get our drink orders in. 10 minutes to get them. Usually the family on average group of 10-20 come here every 2 weeks for dinner. And have been coming here for years. And unfortunately this is the 4th time getting bad service, being this one the absolute worst. We are considering not giving business to this anymore. Love coming here. Whether sitting at the bar for drinks or coming to the restaurant area for lunch or dinner with friends and family. We always come on St Patty's, great time to be had. Everyone dresses up it's a fun time. However, Some of the servers go a little overboard. I'm all in with cute outfits when you're young but there is a limit when your shorts are up your behind and half your butt cheeks are hanging out for the world to see.
