I was recommended Flannigan's by locals for their pulled pork egg rolls and ribs. Settled for the egg rolls, burger, and fish sandwich lunch special. The egg rolls were nicely fried and very original, meaning they came in different shapes and sizes. The ranch on the side was a great addition. My burger was pretty raw but the fish sandwich was fine. Better version of Chili's with great specials. Smelled like cleaner and old spilled drinks. Good for local watering hole. read more

First of all flanies is home and will always be the go to spot to go to whenever at whatever time (they have to be open of course). I've never been disappointed by flanies. I always and only go to the flanies in Hialeah. I will never go to another flanies, that almost like cheating. Flanigans is good for everything! They have an amazing $5.99 lunch special with a purchase of a beverage. If you cant make it for lunch no worries their regular menu is the bomb.com I recommend The ribs and wings combo, Rib Rolls, Dolphin Fingers, Fire Cracker Shrimp, Blackened Chicken Philly, Mozzarella Sticks, Bonzai Brownie, honestly the whole freaking menu is not disappointing. I have been coming here for years and there are certain things I love about this place and others I wish would change. My rating today is reflective of the greeter/hostess and server. I felt they missed the mark on making us feel welcomed and keeping us informed of our order. We had to ask a different server for assistance. Our food was good but the server never came back to see if our meal was ok and when she did come she came with the bill and never offered dessert. This is lost sales for a business. On the plus side I received a nice piece of salmon that was cooked perfectly. I believe they offer the salmon cooked different ways such as blackened. I was never given options but luckily it was delicious. The baked chicken we ordered was also fresh and looked and tasted good. In my opinion one of the very best things they have is their seafood gumbo. I have asked and been told they make it themselves and it taste as such. It's nice and chunky served hot with plenty of seafood to satisfy a good appetite. They serve it with oyster crackers. Their wings and nachos are pretty good too. They have a few servers that have been around for a while that are very good. This server might be new as I don't recall seeing her before. Too me a good meal experience is not complete without thoughtful friendly service. This is a local restaurant/bar and I don't think there is anyone that lives locally that hasn't been here. Their food is consistent and they have several great burgers as well. You will find framed photos of fish catches and fish mounted on the walls. For the holidays you can count on some vintage tinsel decor but this just adds to the charm of a local cherished place. I do wish they would change with times and offer some healthier options. Caesar salad and pasta salad is not a healthy option in my book. But why would they change; the place is always packed as is! I hope to be able to upgrade my rating with my next visit. read more

Service is great, always happy and willing to help you, my kids love to came here for the ribs and hamberguers. They have happy hours but not for wine but the waitress told me is only $7.99 for a glass of Menage à Trois, I said: happy for me, bring me one glass, need it. This is my favorite Flanagan's. The staff is always soooooo nice and helpful even though it's almost always super busy! I see people come in a turn right back around because the front is crowded but don't be fooled, they'll get you in ASAP! I've been there many times when they thought I'd have to wait 30-45 minutes and 15 minutes later I've gotten the text saying my table is ready. Last week, my bestie and I took our senior mom's for lunch and Sergio C did not disappoint. My mom is especially chatty but he was SO charming with her. He is an excellent server and a very nice guy. The ladies at the entrance are so rude and unfriendly. They have no customer service skills at all. They really cute but that is it. Basically, let me sum it up real quick for you: if you don't have Darlene as your server, it's not really worth coming. Not only is she so patient and sweet, she is full of suggestions. I came here for a work lunch with a group of rowdy attorneys and Darlene was able to make multiple suggestions tailored to the individual beverage tastes of each guest. I've been coming and loving this Flanigan's in my hometown since i was 15 years old.... I'm well into my thirties and i still love it. i still work in the area so most of the time I postmates my food now. The chicken wings are hands down the best chicken wings I've ever had, and i consider myself a wing connoisseur. I always order the half rack of ribs with a half dozen chicken wings, with a backed potato butter and sour cream. Literally the same thing since I was 15. It's such comfort food. The sweetness of the BBQ sauce on the ribs, the spicy on the wings with the cool down of the blue cheese, rounded out with the carb hugging you from the inside baked potato. Honestly it's everything that you want to make you happy. The people that work their are friendly, and obviously the air times vary. Went to the restaurant to celebrate my birthday yesterday with 12+ people. I've gone here to all my outings and with friends and never had an issue ever. Yesterday, a friend of mine was standing next to me while we celebrated and had a shot to my name, when we were interrupted by a cop that was called by the Flanigan's staff stating that my friend was causing a commotion. This was not even remotely close, we were respectful and treated the staff and waiters with respect the entire time. We found out it was a complain made by a customer and not once the we get told privately to have him sit, no employee or management. they instead they went an extremist route and used a cop to embarrass my friend in front of the whole bar/ restaurant. so embarrassed that he ended up leaving. never coming to this place ever again. First time eating here & im halfway impressed. I ordered take out & got the Cajun shrimp pasta. I was impressed by the time, they were fast and i was excited. When I got my food it was in a plastic bag inside of a brown paper bag and my pasta sauce had spilled all over the bag. And then I just thought that the pasta was okay. This was my first time at this location and I must say I'm disappointed. I went around 10:30 p.m on a Monday night, there was no wait time. Our waiter sucked. He did not advise about any specials going on during this time. (I went for the late night happy hour). After we looked at the menus we saw they had a special if you buy a pitcher you get free nachos! Which is what we did. The food tasted good! The drinks not so much. I ordered a Tito's lemonade and it was watered down. Not to mention the waiter looked at me crazy when I ordered it. Shortly after we had a friend join us and the waiter walked over with an attitude and he just seemed as though he didn't want to be working and annoyed.
