The only reason I don't ever give Flanigan's 5 stars is the people that go there. There were some people with motorcycles obnoxiously reving their engines for the whole time we were there and we were sitting outside so I couldn't hear my wife talking to me at dinner. I used to be a hostess at this location back in 2014. I loved this place and thought about it randomly at different times in my life. I finally returned and was happy to see it exactly as before. I even saw a co-worker from back then! It was super nice! However, the customer service definitely lacks. We used to get secret shoppers all the time so it blew my mind how the hostess were not trained the way we were, and it shows, not friendly. Then on the table the waiter was awesome so it's good to know not everyone lacks great customer service. They are also young. So I guess it makes sense that things are different since 2014, but customer service should never change. I ordered the Lemon Chicken Pasta (sub rice) just like I would get it in 2014. This is my neighborhood flannys and watering hole. It's always a good time at this flannys but sometimes the food is off. To my surprise when I went on Monday and got the loaded nachos because we ordered a pitcher of beer, it was excellent. I even asked the bartender who the cook was cause he definitely made it with LOVE. I also brought food home and the wings were super saucy and the ribs were awesome. I gotta give a shot out to Raul cause he killed it in the kitchen! Service is awful, if you go more than a couple of times you get ignored. Jimmy Flanigan should remove Andy from the store in Hialeah. I went yesterday and I found a bug in my food and instead of comping the check he said oh so sorry. I know a lot of people who used to go there that have stopped going because of the Gen managers behavior. We implore Jimmy to pls change Andy to another Flannigan's. It's a shame because the food is good but the bar maids that have been there a long time act just like Andy ,that's why they are there not because they're good at their job. I've been eating and drinking from this Hialeah local Flanigans for years! Nice selection of drinks and beer on tap here. Their food has always been consistently good, which is usually the key to successful business's as is the case here. Great place to go with the friends or family. Sometimes it's gets too packed here so I tend to enjoy it more during lunch when it's not as busy. Although any time is a good time for those classic rib rolls - omg spring rolls filled with delicious juicy pulled rib meat and onions it's my favorite. Some nice classic rock jams played in the background this recent visit which made for a nice vibe. I had the firecracker shrimp which was ok, I think it's been better when I ordered that item to go before... i also had the dolphin francaise which was absolutely delicious and making my mouth water as I write this review the next day. My friend ordered a full rack of ribs which he said were awesome. They have a steak soup that I love. I've had some nice pasta here before, the chicken wings are good, I've also had the burgers here before and they've been pretty good too. Flanigan's used to be one of my favorite places but lately, it's hit or miss. On my most recent visit, the service was good and all the food was also good We had the surf and turf; we asked for Medium temperature and it was closer to medium well but it was juicy, well seasoned and warm. We also ordered the Joe's Meal Deal with Wings. They came out Hot (temperature) and the fries were crispy, salad and rolls are always on point. Overall a good experience. read more

Flanigan's - the place I finally met one of the best people ever. On October 25th (and yes, I remember the date!), I came here and met one of the people who has in recent times become one of my closest and dearest friends. We decided on this place as it was a happy compromise, and as always, this restaurant did not disappoint. I ordered some fried mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and my friend got the rib rolls. Given that we shared appetizers, I got to try the rib rolls and they were delicious. The fried mozzarella sticks were also a real winner. For our entrees, we both got ribs because hello it's Flanigan's. I've eaten other entrees here, and well, let me just say this. You don't go to Flanigan's and not get ribs. That's blasphemy! It's what they're known for and for good reason! They're top notch ribs! The sides were good. I had cole slaw and broccoli for mine, while my friend went crazy with the French fries. We then opted for drinks and dessert respectively. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri that holy cow, it was immense, and it took me awhile to finish it. Heck, I don't think I did. It was that big. My friend ended up getting a slice of key lime pie and he engulfed it. Needless to say, the food was fabulous. The waitress, too, who attended us was quick and efficient with a smile on her face. As a company I hate Flanigan's but their food and atmosphere is really good. Reason why I hate the company because they are not good to their employees. They charge a service charge for Togo's that doesn't even go to the take out person. It goes straight to the company. That is not right! Very greedy of them. I shouldn't have to tip the restaurant for a Togo. This isn't dominos delivery! I should be tipping the take out person who actually served me. Next time I'll sit at the bar take one bite and get a Togo box to avoid that next time. I'll give that money to the bartender/takeout person who actually deserves the service charge. They also always fire or suspend people 2 weeks for very little things like failing a mystery shopper. That's heartless! read more

There very accommodating to my elderly father. We come here twice a week. The servers Jessica, Darlene, and Danni are extremely friendly and make the visit a pleasure.
