Irish stew? More like Irish soup.

Recommend by Johnny's Irish Pub. This is a rainy Sunday and mostly empty. Not impressed at all. Service? Not the greatest. Bartender more interested in watching his soccer game than making this customer feel welcome. ( it's almost empty). TV in my section was not on, had to ask. Always walking away when answering a question. Made it even harder to understand through thick Irish accent. Lamb and vegetables were ok! I ordered the Irish Stew, More like Irish soup. Others have to decide for themselves if they want to visit! Might be better when more crowded and just for drinking. . Not my favorite Eatery in Vienna.

What more to say about a place that has been voted the best Irish pub in Europe? Good cold beers. Yip. Decent selection of good wholesome food. Yip. Funny, friendly, happy staff. Yip. Pub atmosphere. Yip. Lots of place to sit and stand. Yip. Good music. Yip. So what you waiting for...

    Great spot!

One of the best Irish pubs in Austria. I've been for the past 24 years. Food, drinks, atmosphere have been on point since I can remember. The authenticity of this place has made it what it is. Drink, food, and service is top notch! The location is great and the outdoor seating is awesome as well. Sports is huge Here. When anything is on they got it and it's packed and perfect! See you at Flanigans!

A friend who lives in Vienna recommended this as a great place to go for a beer and to get something to eat. I concur. I went in for a beer and decided to get something to eat. Along with my beer I had a meat pie which wasn't bad but there were so many other things on the menu I would like to have tried so I settled on this. It wasn't a bad choice. It was a laid-back casual atmosphere with people focused either on the television screen or each other. The service was good. My timing was perfect because not long after I sat down and ordered, the bar filled up due to a football match being aired. I like Irish Pubs. There's plenty of beer and the food is consistently good. They're also dog-friendly here.

A great Irish pub, really! I always feel at ease in this nice local, where the non smoking area is considerably big and even has its own bar and kitchen ( and the toilets too!) The food is very tasty and generous: it truly tastes like Irish meals! The burgers and pies are exceptionally good... The staff is also very friendly. All in all, an awesome place to have a nice time with your friends!

    Guinness time :-D

I really like the homey, comfortable feeling that a pub should have! It's big enough to go any time I feel like it... we'll usually find a spot. The service is great and Guinness is flowing ;) Most food is also quite good. It doesn't compare with Charlie P's, but they have very good pub fare.

    Guinness taps! For my table!

I had the popcorn fish and chips. The food and service were good. The atmosphere was very laid back.

The Irishest Irish pub in the middle of Vienna. Classic pub with actual Irish staff. Get a real pull of Guinness and watch a match.

The Guinness was poured thick and smooth, a dark ribbon of comfort against the winter cold outside.

I want to start by saying that Four Bells is NOT an Irish Pub. I think if it was in the states I'd…read morecall it a dive bar. Any pub that calls itself Irish needs to have more than Guinness on tap, maybe Rockshore or Harp? I couldn't find my favorite Irish whisky behind the bar. That being said I had a great time there. The pub quiz was fun, the service was good and the people were very friendly but I think everyone is friendly after a few pints of Guinness.

Definitely "solid". It's "A-OK" as Yelp puts it…read more When I give 3 stars, I am being generous, had I received service like this in the US, I would give 2 Went here with a group of about 5 other people. Two or three others ordered "chips" which are steak fries really, and I ordered a bacon burger with the spicy sauce on the side. Everyone also ordered some class of beer. We got our drinks pretty quick. Guinness that I ordered was... well... Guinness. However, the foam was a bit more bitter than I have had in other places. Chips came to my friends pretty quickly, I knew that the burger might take a little longer but I was expecting not by much. Yeah... Apparently, they forgot about me, because they had to ask me again what my order was after my friends were at least halfway through their meals. When I finally got the burger my friends were done eating. I had to wait an unreasonably long time for my burger to come out, as my friends ate slowly. Meanwhile, my Guinness was getting warm as I did not want to drink on an empty stomach. Burger was not exactly what I asked for. Rather than a bacon burger with the spicy sauce on the side, I just got a "Hell's Burger" with the sauce already in it. As for the burger, it was somewhat disappointing. First, the spicy sauce was an American style barbecue sauce with something spicy mixed in, poorly, only one bite was spicy. Second, the meat was cooked well-done, and while was not charred and was well seasoned, it was bit juicy in the slightest. Third, the vegetables that were supposed to. Be in the burger were a sadder blob of tomato, lettuce, onion, and pickle than you get at McDonald's. It was like a tablespoon full of vegetables that weren't rotten or wilted, but not fresh in the slightest. Fries were good, appropriately seasoned, and cooked well. I will add this, with the burger you get a choice of salad or chips, it would have been nice if the server gave me the choice. With the service I received, a more accurate rating would be 2 stars, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt - as even the best places screw up now and again
