They have Guinness. That's it! It's a bit smokey, and the food has not been great.

A Christmas to Remember at Flanagan's…read more There's something about a good Irish pub at Christmastime. The way the warmth greets you at the door, how the low hum of conversation and clinking glasses wraps around you like an old wool coat. That's what we found at Flanagan's in Vienna, a place where Christmas wasn't just a date on the calendar but something you could feel, deep in your bones. We sat down to a Christmas lunch that was everything a holiday meal ought to be, hearty, rich, and made with care. The kind of meal that sticks with you long after you've left, not just for the taste but for the way it made you feel. The Guinness was poured thick and smooth, a dark ribbon of comfort against the winter cold outside. And dessert? The kind that makes you want to loosen your belt and stay just a little longer. But it wasn't just the food. It was the place itself. The way the lights cast a soft glow over wooden tables worn smooth by time. The way laughter and stories filled the air, like an old family gathering where nobody wanted to leave. My son took it all in, wide-eyed and happy, and that alone made it worth the visit. If you ever find yourself in Vienna on a cold December day, stop by Flanagan's. Order a pint, settle in, and let Christmas wrap around you like an old song you almost forgot you knew.

We were part of a large group and he had no difficulty handling that along with the regular crowd. Food and drinks came quickly. Menu is good. Typical transported Irish pub atmosphere but well maintained. This is one Austrian Irish pub I actually felt worth returning to.

I want to start by saying that Four Bells is NOT an Irish Pub. I think if it was in the states I'd…read morecall it a dive bar. Any pub that calls itself Irish needs to have more than Guinness on tap, maybe Rockshore or Harp? I couldn't find my favorite Irish whisky behind the bar. That being said I had a great time there. The pub quiz was fun, the service was good and the people were very friendly but I think everyone is friendly after a few pints of Guinness.

Definitely "solid". It's "A-OK" as Yelp puts it…read more When I give 3 stars, I am being generous, had I received service like this in the US, I would give 2 Went here with a group of about 5 other people. Two or three others ordered "chips" which are steak fries really, and I ordered a bacon burger with the spicy sauce on the side. Everyone also ordered some class of beer. We got our drinks pretty quick. Guinness that I ordered was... well... Guinness. However, the foam was a bit more bitter than I have had in other places. Chips came to my friends pretty quickly, I knew that the burger might take a little longer but I was expecting not by much. Yeah... Apparently, they forgot about me, because they had to ask me again what my order was after my friends were at least halfway through their meals. When I finally got the burger my friends were done eating. I had to wait an unreasonably long time for my burger to come out, as my friends ate slowly. Meanwhile, my Guinness was getting warm as I did not want to drink on an empty stomach. Burger was not exactly what I asked for. Rather than a bacon burger with the spicy sauce on the side, I just got a "Hell's Burger" with the sauce already in it. As for the burger, it was somewhat disappointing. First, the spicy sauce was an American style barbecue sauce with something spicy mixed in, poorly, only one bite was spicy. Second, the meat was cooked well-done, and while was not charred and was well seasoned, it was bit juicy in the slightest. Third, the vegetables that were supposed to. Be in the burger were a sadder blob of tomato, lettuce, onion, and pickle than you get at McDonald's. It was like a tablespoon full of vegetables that weren't rotten or wilted, but not fresh in the slightest. Fries were good, appropriately seasoned, and cooked well. I will add this, with the burger you get a choice of salad or chips, it would have been nice if the server gave me the choice. With the service I received, a more accurate rating would be 2 stars, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt - as even the best places screw up now and again
