On our first visit ti Harrisonburg, we happened to see this place on our way to our hotel. We decided to stop in for dinner that night. So glad we did! While driving through, we needed somewhere to stop for a bit and didn't want to wait for service so we figured a buffet was perfect. Parking was easy, as it is in a plaza. We were able to sample a variety of food that we've never had before for about $15 a person. Our waitress was friendly and attended to our drinks. The buffet was clean, they provided gloves, and the employees all wore masks. The restrooms were clean as well. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the chicken (all varieties) were pretty stringy, making it rather unappealing to eat. Also, they had a lot of foods just bathing in melted butter, rendering them greasy. Overall, we had a good experience though. read more

Was visiting the area and found this place that was open pass 9pm. Our family enjoyed the food but the service was horrible. Our waitress kept taking plates we weren't even done with. Then, when she brought the bill (15 minutes after we came) she was rushing payment. Well i was paying and i was in the RR with my child, so she yelled at my fiancé and snatched the check from him. Once i got back to the table he told me what had happened and i had some WORDS for our waitress. I left no tip & now leaving this bad review. Pretty good food with lots of choices. We arrived for a pretty early meal around 5:15 on a Monday. Some food seemed to have suffered in quality from being over-held. When new came out it was a much higher quality. The sweet & sour soup had a nicely spicy kick to it! My wife went to the hibachi and enjoyed what she had cooked there. I would appreciate labels on the sushi so I can better know what I'm getting. Dinner buffet around $14 after tax. read more

I was in Harrisonburg on business, and decided to try the Flaming Grill Buffet. From the outside, you would think that the restaurant was small however it wasn't. Lots of seating and no waiting, even during prime dinner hours. I was asked what I wanted to drink as I was being seated so that by the time I came to the table with my food, my drink was waiting for me. The buffet itself was the cleanest I've ever seen. Well-maintained, a large variety of foods, and everything was hot and fresh. They also quickly replenished anything that was running low. I enjoyed it so much that I went back a second night! The next night was just as clean, fresh, and delicious. I like that you can eat from the buffet, have something made from the hibachi grill or select sushi from the sushi bar. There is also a much larger dessert selection than most other buffets I've been to. Just to mention, my glass was always refilled and the old plate taken away before I came back to the table, (it was so good you had to have seconds). I only wish I lived closer. read more

My girlfriend and I ate here the other week. I had seen it from the road before or when I've gone into the Food Lion in the same shopping center so we finally tried it. The young lady who was the hostess when we went was very pleasant and allowed us to check out the buffet to decide if we wanted to eat here (my girlfriend had never been here and neither had I). I'm glad we did because they had some of the best cream cheese wontons (I think they may have had crab meat in them) I've ever had!! They were so flavorful I kept wanting more. There's even a hibachi chef there but we didn't get anything from there. Clean restaurant, better selection than the other Chinese buffet very close by and the buffet is spread out so you're not cramped while getting your food. 2nd time here and this is a great buffet. Friendly staff and some great food. They have Hibachi, but have not experienced that yet. From the Crab Rangoon to the desserts it is very good. well the Bourbon chicken to me has an odd seasoning on it and have had it both times and was not my favorite. they have sanitizer at the door for you to use and gloves by the plates to put on before getting your food. will definitely be back another day. right now the lunch buffet is 8.99 and is from 11-4 dinner is i think 11.99 and from 4-close. I have only been at lunch, so i am not sure what the difference is from lunch because lunch has a great variety. read more
