We came here 3x within two weeks of discovering this spot. There's a huge selection of Chinese American dishes spread across four stations. In the back, you can assemble your own hibachi and wait while it's grilled. They also have salad bar and desert stations with rotating options. I'm visiting from California to see my daughter here in New Jersey. The food at this place was okay, but what really turned me off was the smell. After using the restroom, we were seated in a carpeted room that had a lingering odor--it honestly made it hard to enjoy the meal. I hope the management will look into this issue seriously. So I went to this establishment on 10/14/21 at 6pm. Hadn't been there in years. Paid my monies for me and my son and then I proceeded to the hibachi stand. As I was scooping up the white rice I noticed something in it. Scooped it up and placed it on my plate and it was a ROACH! They make you pay before you are seated, we should have known then that the food was terrible. The options were almost all fried garbage. This place was packed and not packed overcrowded but it definitely showed that people loved the place. Grand opening was Saturday the 28th so decided to come today. Since this is the second day it has been opened my review is just basic since it will need time to mature. It would be unfair to point out little things. First impressions are good. Plenty of room, buffet laid out nice. Selections very good, something for everyone. Sushi, raw clams and oysters very fresh. When I walked into the place a kid served me it was so cute. When we sat down they immediately came and asked us what drinks we would like the service was so fast. They have the typical Chines buffet items, but they also have a small sushi area (which surprisingly is pretty good compared to other buffet places and even some sushi restaurants).
