Hibachi plate
Sara G.

We came here 3x within two weeks of discovering this spot. There's a huge selection of Chinese American dishes spread across four stations. In the back, you can assemble your own hibachi and wait while it's grilled. They also have salad bar and desert stations with rotating options. Above the buffet is a cool galaxy ceiling, and there is a fairly large party room in the back. The cashiers, hostesses, and bussers are all friendly and helpful.

Hibachi grill... smorgasbord

There are very well research criteria to determine a top tier Chinese/American buffet. These have gone through rigorous trials and are FDA approved: 1) It's packed. This ensures a constant parade of fresh meat sheen with corn starch to refill the bins 2) A fresh grill labelled 'Hibachi or Mongolian' that somehow adds the perfect char 3) happy helpful weight staff 4) an average weight of 250 of the clientele and the the occasional 'failed my gastric bypass because of this place' 5) the American fare is above average This place my not look glamorous but it got all the stops

Very cheap for the quantity of food offered

This is a very nice all you can eat buffet. Friendly staff and lots of food. Don't expect top quality food or any type of luxury but for 12 bucks plus tax (lunch on a Saturday afternoon) I can't complaint. Everything from Chinese food to American, fast food including hibachi, sushi, pasta, etc. definitely worth it!

My son loves buffets. He wanted to go here for his birthday and of course we obliged. The food was absolutely delish. We brought in a cake and the waiters sung happy birthday. They even have a special birthday song that plays over the speakers in the restaurant. We had a really nice time. Staff was very attentive. We will be back again.

Seafood and pasta and string beans

Update 12/22/19 The sushi fish/tuna/ salmon is minced to the point it's hard to tell what it is. And dare I say laced w/ starch fillers to stretch it even more

Table

Food was good . I would come back since the price is reasonable. But I love the fact they play Latin music!

This is a typical…read moreself-service buffet type of restaurant which is very common in Brazilian communities in Newark-NJ, Astoria-NY and many other locations. You make your plate, weigh and pay about $10 per pound. My feijoada plate from the attached picture had a little less than a pound so I paid around $9 which is a great deal especially if you compare to other restaurants in the area. The restaurant is somewhat small, simple, but there are enough tables for everyone even during lunch hours. Staff is friendly, they give you privacy to pick your food without anyone bothering you, food is tasty and the variety is ok. I wish they had Brazilian barbecue similar to other restaurants in the area but I can't really complain because the food and price were great. Compared to other Brazilian restaurants in the area this place has a big advantage because the process is very simple. Other restaurants such as Casa Nova, Cantinho Mineiro, Delícia de Minas also offer a buffet option but their process is very complicated. They have a prix fixe option for a set price and then if you add meat it's a different price, if you want to take something to go you need to pick a prix fixe container for a different price. It's just too confusing and I don't really like that, hence my preference for this Brazilian buffet restaurant. Don't expect any luxury or lots of variety. This is a practical restaurant offering food for a fair price. I definitely recommend it. Note that there's just street parking and the Wilson Ave area tends to be busy so keep that in mind.

I came here to throw down on some seafood and that's exactly what we did. I found out about this place because one of my favorite TikTok foodies posted that she came here when she was visiting from Chicago. It was also my friend's birthday so we figured we'd check it out. If you come with a group of 4 or more, including the birthday person, they eat for free, which is a pretty nice perk. This place lived up to every bit of the hype. We did the $125 option which includes lobster. If you have people in your group who are on the fence about spending the extra money, just remind them it's only about $35 more and that's basically the cost of one lobster anywhere else. Here you're getting unlimited lobster. The food literally just kept coming. At one point we were running out of room on the table. One thing I really appreciated was that the staff noticed and started putting multiple items on the same plates instead of bringing everything out separately. It sounds small but it actually helped a lot and showed they were paying attention. The drinks weren't super strong but they definitely weren't weak either. If you love seafood, come hungry and bring a group. The vibes were great, the service was on point, and we left absolutely stuffed.

I highly recommend coming with a large group so you can try a bit of everything. They also offer an option to pay an extra $45 to take your leftovers home, which is absolutely worth it. I ended up with so much food that my fridge is still full. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to others.

The Mixed Meat option had several different preparations of beef and a sausage served with a salad, french fries, and white rice. It was a generous portion of meat in a large plate. For dessert we all had the Serradura (Portuguese Sawdust Pudding) which was made with a meringued cream, whipped cream, and crushed cookies mixed together. Very delicious, not too sweet and not too filling. All around there was brick, stone and solid wood. I felt like I was in what I imagined a restaurant in Portugal would be like back in the day. The servers were friendly. I gives me the sense that it is a good place to have a range of events - from a business lunch to a celebratory party. There is lots of space in the restaurant with different rooms. One room seemed specifically set up for large parties whereas another room was set up like a typical restaurant. Our party was able to relax and enjoy ourselves without ever feeling any time pressures from the staff. It was quite an enjoyable experience.

We did the rodizio, and everything was absolutely perfect. The meats kept coming and were all cooked beautifully. I'm a big fan of lamb, and theirs was outstanding. One of the things I really appreciated was that they were happy to bring specific cuts again if you asked -- great service and very accommodating. The meal also came with rice, beans, plantains, and pico de gallo, which were all delicious and complemented the meats really well. We also ordered mashed potatoes on the side, which were fantastic. We brought our own birthday cake, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. They cut it for us, came over to sing, and really helped make the celebration feel special. We had such a lovely time. Overall, it was a first-class experience with amazing food and warm hospitality.

Wow! What a new experience for us! Means I have seen Hot POT places many times across the shores,…read moreand though they don't give a vibe from outside (IMO), but once you step inside, it's a whole different world. Kearny KPOT has almost ~13K reviews on Google with a 4.9 rating, which means just wow! So we decided to go there instead of our nearby Parsippany location. The first thing that disappointed us was the waiting time. They only take reservations for parties of 6+, and we ended up waiting about 70 minutes, with a kid along with us. Since we had already driven 35 minutes, we decided to stick it out. We got the A2 table. Our server, Pickel Rick, explained the whole Hot Pot + BBQ concept. We chose both options together--and the whole table has to agree on the same setup (so one person can't do only hot pot while another does only BBQ...Come on, they are smart too Hot pot was $32 and +$5 more and you can have both= means $37 per person + tax... The BBQ grill lets you control the heat, and the induction keeps your hot pot soup warm. Ordering is all done through a tablet on the table. This is an all-you-can-eat thing, any meat (Pork, Beef, seafood, chicken, Lamb) for BBQ... and you can increase/decrease the temperature of the BBQ. So it's all sorted out! Induction is there to keep your soup/pot warm, order any type of noodles (Ramn-Rice-Pho to add in your soup with all veggies, dumplings, and whatnot, so keep ordering from the tab they give you to order. They have a big selection of meats, seafood, veggies, and sauces. The quality is decent, and the food comes out quickly. The hotpot broth has good flavor, and grilling the meats at the table is enjoyable. It's basically a "cook your own food" style, so it's fun if you like that kind of thing. It was a fun experience, ordering chicken/prawn/jumbo prawns/ lamb/ dumplings = putting it in soup or into BBQ platter... some got less cooked, some were well, and some I am gonna call "well done" We were there for about 2 hours, which is actually their time limit. They even mentioned you get a small refund if you leave early (first time hearing that!). Also, if you're celebrating a birthday with a group of 6+, the birthday person eats free. That's a nice perk! Great, hearing this first time... There is also a sauce bar station - for all sauces, fried rice, Fries, and Fruits Service can get a bit slow when the place is packed--we had to wait for forks/spoons at one point. But overall, it's a fun place to go with friends or family, especially if you like trying something different.

First time for me, and hopefully not the last. Unfortunately, I live in DC but this will definitely be on the list of favorite restaurants to return to. FOOD: Holy Shabu-moly! The fish cake, veggie, noodle, dumpling, sauce selection was too much. Seriously, I mean that literally. Patrons are paralyzed by the paradox of choice. Fewer options would help me focus on the essentials and allow me more time eating than deciding. Lol. Honestly I wish I would have just focused on ordering the meats. SERVICE: We had a young waiter who was very attentive, professional, accommodating, and understanding. Also, an older gentleman who I can only imagine was a manager, stopped by to fill our water glasses and ensure we were happy with everything. FACILITY: Not exactly what I would call spacious, especially if this restaurant was packed, but it was very comfortable, especially since we had a large wheelchair. The bathrooms were immaculate. VERDICT: Can't wait to come back. Highly recommended.

Considering how good the food is here, I can totally see this spot getting very busy on weekends. + As of April 2026, the all you can eat pricing is very reasonable with it ranging from $18.95 - $35.95, depending on the time of day (lunch or dinner), day of the week (weekday or weekend/holiday) and whether you want to include meats and seafood (which I TOTALLY recommend).
