I heard Marina say once something that was roughly this; farming is good for the family and family farming is good for the world. I'm paraphrasing, but I wanted to say "Amen" to that and also to thank her because it certainly is good for the local community. ACCESSIBLE FARM STORE FOR PRE-PICKED FRUIT: It was buying their dried sour cherries from other vendors in the area, both Peaceful Belly's farm store and McIntyre Farm store that introduced me to Cherry Hill. Visiting the farm for the first time in maybe 2019, they had only portable tables set up in a deep gravel over dirt lot and given I have mobility disabilities (I have had multiple sclerosis since college) that make it beyond difficult to walk through that, I was disappointed to not be able to get from parking to the product on tables. Fast forward a few years and they now have built a small farm store on site and although they still have that gravel over dirt lot, they did observe ADA minimums to pour a cement apron on one side of the store with a single parking spot there which makes it possible for all people to get into the farm store on solid surface and shop for sour dried cherries , sour fresh cherries, cherry juice, apples, pears, apricots, nectarines and peaches in their various seasons. U-PICK OPTIONS: U-Pick is offered through all the various seasons. Check Cherry Hill's Facebook page or Web page or call them to be sure they are open when you want to do and what is growing to be picked. DID YOU SAY DONUTS?: the surprise for us as we stocked up on dried cherries, apples, pears and O'Henry peaches a couple of weeks ago was to learn they have fresh made cinnamon sugar donuts at some times. We managed to buy the last half dozen, how they are sold, and came home to share them with the men who mow our lawn and we all thought they were great. SPECIAL EVENTS FALL AND SPRING: There is a corn maize and pumpkin patch in the fall from late September through October 31, so it is going on as I write this review, with special activities for children. In the Spring they hold a cherry festival. With cherry trees and the other fruit trees in blossom at different times, it really is a beautiful place to visit then. NEIGHBORS TO VISIT ON A DAY TRIP: *If you're in Caldwell to visit Cherry Hill, I recommend a visit to Peaceful Belly Farm which is also home to a Cidery. They serve lunch and dinner in their on site cafe on some Thursdays through Sundays during the Spring into Winter. Check their website for more information. It is very special to eat there, you can walk through the farm, and they have an onsite farm store selling their produce and that of neighbors, like Cherry Hill. Owners Jodie and Clay Erskine are so creative in offering community engagement opportunities. https://www.yelp.com/biz/peaceful-belly-farm-caldwell?osq=peaceful+belly *You may also want to pay a visit to McIntyre Pastures which pasture raises all their cattle, pigs and chickens and they have a farm store to sell their proteins - including eggs that are the best I have ever used - and other local farm products, like Cherry Hill dried cherries. https://www.yelp.com/biz/mcintyre-pastures-farm-caldwell?osq=MCINTYRE+FARM

I'm a sucker for any Christmas thing or store. So when I was visiting my son I noticed there was a…read moreChristmas store within walking distance. I begged my mom to go (she likes Christmas too). But it closed in 15 minutes! So we hurried over there and it was dark and cold outside which added to the Christmas spirit. Walking up to it I already was giddy. It had a window display that just looked magical from the outside. Walking in, it was small yet cozy. So many different items to look at. I tried to be mindful of the closing time so we looked at everything pretty quickly but I just soaked it all in. I've always wanted a nice snow globe bc they remind me of my son. I found one there I liked with the nativity story in it along with a wind up song. I bought it and they wrapped it up for me since I flew out the next day. Unfortunately the TsA agents didn't let me board the plane with it!!!!!!! So my son went back 2 days later and bought another one!!;) and now we just have to figure out how to get it to me. Probably will have to ship it to me and hopefully it gets to me safely. But boy what a journey just for this snow globe! lol But this store gets the sale of two snow globes so I'm helping small business I guess;) Loved this place and if I'm in the area again during Christmas, I'd love to come again and see what they new things they have. If you love Christmas and love unique finds and cozy Christmas vibes you have to go!

You leave thousands of sticks from trimming bushes in the lawns then run over them with lawnmowers and sharpen them. Your idea of leaf removal is mulching them with mowers leaving piles in the grass to kill it farther than you already have with your overwatering letting the water go down the drains for days of constant running not just hours. Seeding then washing it away with overwatering. Leavinging ruts in the lawns due to lazy ways to pick up sticks. Not to mention your replacement of sprinkler heads leaving dirt you dug up to kill our grass farther. Not happy and hope for a replacment very soon. If there was a negative star for a rating I would leave it. Beware our common areas have never looked so bad.

Because the tags were left on the plants. $10,000 for a very small backyard, about eight very small trees, 5 feet or less, and about eight plants with some rock. It looks nice now only because we doctored what they did. The helpers did not speak English, and it made it very difficult to communicate the design because what they had on paper was a pencil drawn diagram with no dimensions or other details. I would advise, staying away from their landscaping business and focus solely on plants, once you've inspected them to ensure that they are healthy. They have a tendency to sell trees that are not cared for very well. They do have some pretty good pricing though.

Thad came out during the Winter to get a look at the challenge. Based on our input he drew up a "low maintenance" plan that we approved. The following Spring, the entire front yard was re-landscaped. New trees and shrubbery were added. Upgrades were made to the irrigation system. They also subcontracted with a concrete curbing firm that provided edge enhancements for the planted areas. Thad helped us pick out slate to accent different areas of the yard. In the backyard, they upgraded the irrigation system, planted shrubbery and had curbing installed. The landscaping received rave reviews by the neighbors. Misty, from Sterling, has led a team out every Spring to clean up, prune and prepare the yard for Spring and Summer. They have done a fantastic job. I wholeheartedly recommend Sterling landscape service. 10/10

In this time they were not responsive or kind on the phone at all, they had never met us so who knows. Flash forward to January we get a call saying they werent paid for the sprinkler blow out, I check all my accounts and they were not paid, but a male employee took my credit card info over the phone in october, and I never heard from them again. Obviously the charge was never sent through. I never received a bill in the mail (although she says shes sending one now, January 2023). But has proceded to treat me with RUDE and unprofessional behavior, for reasons unknown to me. My mail box was full and she went KAREN on me about it. I am not sure who is in charge of your billing system, but please send bills out immediately if they are not paid instead of harassing and berating your customers. Honest mistakes happen, if a bill wasn't paid, that is YOUR responsibility to follow up with it with written documentation, not phone calls demanding payment without context. Please look into this individual, if you are the owner then SHAME ON YOU. I would NEVER recommend this OVERPRICED shotty service. Just called to speak with Dan King, the office assistant sent me to his voicemail and said he probably wont be around for a couple of weeks because he is doing training. OK, Sterling Landscape, so professional.
