Lemon pepper is one of my go to for wing sauces/seasoning and you could really taste the lemon pepper, some places are shy on the seasoning. The atomic had great flavor but was lacking in the spiciness, I think it could use a little more heat. The wings were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. I would like to come back to try their other sauces. Looking forward to try their garlic Parmesan. I was told it came with two family-size sides, but when I asked for two red beans and rice, I was charged extra for one. I had to get that charge refunded and ended up leaving without the red beans and rice. I specifically asked for hot sauce, honey, and butter. I received NONE of them--not even napkins. I also was not given an itemized receipt. When I tried to enter my receipt for Popeyes Rewards, it said the receipt was "expired." I went back to the cashier for help and was basically told, "The system is down. I can't help you." No apology and no attempt to help resolve it. Then I got home and discovered I received only 7 pieces of chicken instead of the 9 I paid for. I spent around $40, live approximately 45 miles away, and obviously wasn't going to drive all the way back after discovering the missing chicken. Mistakes and computer problems happen. This is a southern food that actually feels like I'm in the south. I love soul food so much and have been missing it here in Fresno and I finally found a place that is close to what I've had in the south. Such a welcoming environment with the owner she's such a sweet lady and such a welcoming person in the space. If you work downtown, this is definitely a place to go for lunch.
