I was hoping this would taste like bulldoc I miss that place This was low quality chicken and it was not good and a couple pieces were even raw inside I have been wanting to try this for so long and I was so disappointed We ordered at work and my coworkers didn't like their food either So sad cause 8 wings cost me 19 dollars
I was craving some Korean Fried Chicken so this was the closest spot to us. The parking was in the back of the restaurant with lots of space. Walking in, I noticed the restaurant was small and not a lot of tables so you definitely cannot have a big party. They have a lot of flavor chicken options. We ended up getting the Galbi flavor 8 piece wing ($15.99), Ddeok-bokki ($14.99) & ($2 additional cheese). They have two bathrooms. We only waited 15 mins for order. The lady was nice and gave us plates for us to eat. She first gave us our Ddeok-bokki which was very tasty and rich in sauce but it was on the spicier side. The Galbi chicken was good and the wings were huge. Very flavorful and tender, came out fresh so it was hot. The down side you can only do one flavor. I also thought the water cups were small and water was not cold unless you ask for ice. I would come back.

The soy garlic didn't have much sauce, I paid $2.17 for extra sauce. The Galbi wings had the perfect amount of sauce. The minus one star has to do with the amount of dead gnats on the ledge of the window and on our table. Though I prefer them dead than alive, it would've been nice if that area was cleaned, I wiped it myself. Other than that I will returning & recommending this location.
Ordered a variety of different flavored wings to choose from for a group dinner. The Honey Garlic was hands down my favorite. It had a super crispy exterior (honestly the crunchiest of the bunch), lightly sweet with a nice garlicky finish. The Cheeseling had that nostalgic sweet cheese powder dusted on top (it reminded me of the Buldak carbonara cheese powder). Slightly less crunchy than the honey garlic, but still solid if you're into that sweet-savory combo. The Spicy Galbi had a great smoky flavor, but they were a little heavy-handed with the sauce. It softened the skin more than I'd like, I'd personally prefer a lighter coating to keep that crisp factor. The Original was a classic crispy fried chicken moment. I ended up adding a bit of soy sauce for extra flavor and that did the trick. Only small complaint was that the pickled radish wasn't very pickled, it could've used more tang, but at least it still had a satisfying crunch. Overall, if you're craving Korean fried chicken with serious crisp, this spot delivers. I'll definitely be back for that honey garlic again.

I came with fellow yelpers, Andrew K, Chiqui and Marcos. I am not familiar with Korean food and I feel like Fresno lacks that style of cuisine. Andrew recommended this particular place and put together an unofficial type of meet up. We ordered original, galbi, soy garlic and honey garlic chicken, jasmine rice. Mozz sticks, pot stickers and a 12.99 chicken plate that came with 2 slices of toast and fries. Pretty large spread! It was nice to be able to taste so many items. My fave was the soy garlic wings, very flavorful and not too sweet. Galbi was good too - I like the addition of sesame seeds and green onion. I like that they fry their wings in olive oil, the texture is very crispy while the chicken remains juicy. No cheese pull on the Mozz sticks and fries were average tasting even tho the pot stickers were fat there was no dipping sauce. To be fair, these are not things they would be known for anyways. Orders take awhile to come out because they make everything fresh so I wouldn't recommend coming if you're in a pinch.

They were mediocre and felt like something I could buy at Costco. The kimchi fried rice was an explosion of flavor. It was probably one of the more spicy things that we actually ate. Again it had good flavor, but just wasn't the star of the show. We ordered three different orders of fried chicken and by far the garlic honey was my absolute favorite. It's sweet garlicky, and just fried to perfect perfection. There is no bad choice on this menu. All in all, this is a yummy place and I seriously look forward to going back.

Came here on an empty day, order at kiosk, and got food after a 20 minute wait. Worker was very nice! My friend and I ordered the 8 piece soy garlic bone-in wings and the rose tteokbokki. The wings were great! Not overly sauced (though I wouldn't mind if they were too), nice crunch, juicy, and good flavor! The rose tteokbokki was good! It's creamy, and the flavor was great. I could drink the sauce tbh. The consistency was more on the liquidy side, but I didn't mind! Super good, I expect myself to be doing pick up orders from here again in the very near future...

I ordered what I normally got in TX, honey garlic and soy garlic. What I love about BB.Q Chicken is that amazing ability to stay crispy after I bring my take out order home and even the next day. This was no different. The taste was as expected BUT there were clumps of garlic - as if it was part of the breading. It was overwhelming. I think they still need some time to work out the new restaurant quirks. But overall nothing that will deter me from visiting again. Additionally, the restaurant seemed clean and service was friendly.

We wanted to try multiple flavors and just order one order of 24 chicken-however we were told you're only allowed to order one flavor of 24-so we had to pay a little more and get three separate orders for each flavor of eight pieces. you ordered three orders. The chicken pieces came out much larger than we expected, so really just a 16 piece between the two of us would've been fine. The batter was very crispy however, it was pretty thick, which was a little overwhelming after a while. All of the wings had good flavor though! Our favorite was the soy garlic. The ddeok -bokki was also tasty, which made up for the kimchi fried rice, which was a little bland-so I'd probably pass on that next time . However, we just added some sauce from the ddeok-bokki fried rice and it was fine. If you're in the mood for fried chicken -this is a solid spot to stop by!

My daughter picked Korean fried chicken for dinner tonight. I did a pick up order thru DoorDash only cuz it was getting late and they close at 9pm. This spot is mainly for pick up the dining space is small with a few tables. Honey Garlic fried wings with Bone-In was her choice and it came with pickled radish. The first bite was soo crispy crunchy airy and juicy. Omg what a flavor bomb, this would go great with some rice. I am ecstatic to see that a bb.q Chicken has opened here in Clovis! It is an answered prayer. One of the most globally successful Korean-style fried chicken, bb.q stands for Best of the Best Quality and they live up to their moniker. What makes Korean-style fried chicken so distinctly delicious are the unique flavor profiles: which include honey garlic, soy garlic, Gangnam-style (black pepper, garlic, and onions), galbi (Korean BBQ beef ribeye marinade), secret sauce (sweet and tangy), gang-jeong (soy sauce), gochujang (fermented hot chili paste), their golden original, along with a few other flavor marinades. The marinade infuses the meat with flavor and tenderizes it. The chicken is double-fried in olive oil, which gives it a lighter taste and coated with rice flour and corn starch, which results in an extra crispy and very light exterior. The double-frying process also helps to seal the meat's juices. The result is a culinary masterpiece: unbelievably delicious, golden crisp, colorful, and aromatic. I have been CRAVING Korean fried chicken like no other and this HIT the spot. We went on Saturday for lunch and there was little to no line. The restaurant was clean and there was plenty of seating when we went. The staff was friendly and personable. We ordered 2 small meals with 8pc boneless chicken pieces in the Soy Garlic and Secret Sauce flavor. They were delicious and oh so crunchy! The favorite was definitely the Soy Garlic but I most likely won't get the Secret Sauce next time. It wasn't bad but it wasn't my favorite and considering how many flavors they offer, I will be leaning towards another flavor for sure. They are selling the small size for ~$16 each. Although pretty pricey, the chicken pieces were large so I thought that it wasn't a bad trade-off. Super tasty, super crunchy, and can't wait to have some more KFC again! read more

Came on a Saturday right when they opened. Was only my group of 5. Ordered a bulgogi bowl , in which we got the last one since they said they could only do just one. Ordered a M wings. Downside was that you could only do one flavor and so we only ended up getting soy garlic. Chicken was crispy but lacked a bit of sauce. Cons: barely any seating inside as it's very small, we ordered the last bulgogi bowl RIGHT when they opened so they should have restocked, bulgogi bowl was nothing special and mediocre, it was hot inside, waited about 45 mins for our order to come out, they don't have any plates or anything for you to eat off of, and was pretty pricey for the chicken. read more

Walking in to this restaurant, the decor and walls reminded me of a KFC. Don't be fooled as this Korean friend chicken was far better than good ol Kentucky. My husband and I stopped here before heading to Classics billiards in the same area. Ordered the 8 piece Gangnam style wings (15.99) and an order of spicy galbi wings with a side of rice. All of which were so delicious. The wings were still crispy although dipped in sauce and full of flavor. It looks spicy from the picture but it wasn't very spicy at all, there is a side however that you can order and that is very spicy ! I'm actually kinda shocked I didn't know we had a bb.q chicken in town until now! It was my first time trying this chain and chefs kiss! I've been telling all my friends and coworkers to go! I think their fried chicken is a little on the pricier side, and sadly, flavor options aren't super flexible here, but if you order something you like, it's totally worth it! Service was friendly, but definitely took some time for food to come out, and restaurants was clean! This time, I got the: -honey garlic boneless: 10/10 it was recommended by a friend and she was right, its addicting! The girl at the front took our order and we had the mindset that we could get multiple flavors since it's 8 pieces for $16. But we couldn't even split sauces, the only way we could is if we got the half and half order which didn't even matter because one flavor is the original (which we didn't want). so we ordered the 8 piece of spicy galbi, bulgogi bowl and kimchi fried rice. The wait was approximately 45 minutes and people were coming in, only to be told the chicken was going to take an hour to be ready? Crazy when that's literally their main dish, why is chicken taking an hour to make? What else is crazy is the food was not even good. The sauce was so salty, the bowls were so bland and the portion of bulgogi to rice was insane (more rice than meats that are super thinly sliced). I'm sorry but this place is not worth it when other chicken wing places are down the street at better prices and better flavors. Other Korean restaurants are superior than this franchise. When I heard there is now a bb.q Chicken here in Clovis, I knew I had to rush over as soon as possible! This chain is one of my favorites back in SoCal, so I was super excited to have one nearby here. To preface, this is not a fast food restaurant, and everything is made fresh, so expect ~20-30 min from the time you order to when your food is ready. I recommend ordering online from home to minimize the wait time. It also may take longer in the evening due to the dinner rush. I ordered at 5pm, I arrived around 5:30, and my food was ready by 5:40pm. Of note, it's also NYE today. Now let's talk about the food! My go-to order is the Half & Half Boneless Chicken, with half Original and half Secret Spicy. The Original does have a very slight kick due to the seasonings. The Secret Spicy is a delicious sweet and spicy flavor (and my favorite!). For $30, you get a total of ~20 large pieces of chicken. The chicken was still very fresh by the time I brought my order home. The outside is super crispy while the inside is juicy and tender. You also get a small side of crunchy pickled radishes. Best chicken ever. Very hot and fresh! And you don't see blood on the bones. I'm not really a chicken wing person. Because most people don't make or clean them well. So I am always judging chicken spots But this one is spot on. Chicken is cooked and crispy. Even with a sauce. They don't put too much. Definitely will be back read more
