    New York steak lunch special
    Alli E.

Came here tonight because we passed it earlier in the day and it sounded amazing. Everything seems to be made fresh which is nice. We looked at the dinner plates and the prices seemed a little steep ($25 and beyond), although they do offer many options for protein which is cool. We opted for the "lunch special" which is served all day but comes in a bowl as opposed to a plate. I ordered the New York steak and my husband got the seared ahi. Flavor wise we both agree it was top notch, but for $17 a bowl the amount of protein you get is pretty small so it's heavy on the rice. Each lunch special also comes with a drink but they failed to give us my husband's coke (they're a walk up business with no seating outside so it's ordered to go). Kinda lame. Overall I think it's worth a try and could be somewhere you visit once or twice a month.

A most near second is the braised short rib, served with a delectable and cloud-soft heap of mashed potatoes. Of lesser note were the wagyu tacos, pigs in a blanket, and the maple pecan butter cake, which proved but ordinary in their savor. Why gave I it four? - Forsooth, the service remaineth most excellent, the choices ample, and the fare overall commendable. Know thou, many of the draughts afore-mentioned were priced for happy hour as a small note. Of those dishes deemed but middling, the wagyu tacos and pigs in a blanket lacked that wondrous spark upon the tongue. Lastly, the dry-aged ribeye, though served with seasoning apart, did taste somewhat over-salted to mine palate. Yet, these faults did not greatly diminish mine experience for I retain my favored dishes and shall return anon. Verdict? - Shouldst thou find thyself near Claremont, prithee give it a try, for it is a place most grand.

Steak and burger were ok. Fries weren't to my liking as they were the soft kind. However, if you're looking for a local steakhouse in the Inland Empire then it's still worth a visit as Meat Cellar is up there on the IE list (probably top 5).

They cut off all our ties!! Which honestly, it made for such a fun, unique experience, and I could totally see myself coming back From the moment you walk inside, you're greeted with walls full of previously snipped ties, which was pretty cool to see and definitely added to the anticipation haha As for food, we ordered the Space Dusts, Orange Tequila Martini, Steak & Chicken, Grilled Salmon, baked potatoes, beans, cornbread, and side salads. The steak and salmon were great and I loved that the baked potatoes were a good size and came with cheese, sour cream, green onions, and butter. The ranch for the side salad was also perfectly creamy. Overall, I really enjoyed our dinner and the memories we made that day :)

Its dark, rustic, lively, & all about comfort food. I remember all the quirks to this place & think the whole tie idea is hilarious so I told my boyfriend to make sure to wear one! Haha It was a packed house when we arrived, parking lot & restaurant. We got seated right away since we had reservations so that was helpful! Service was great we had a nice lady who got us all we needed throughout the night! As for the food... mmm there are some things that lacked. The bread wasn't the best, it was dense not soft, plain, not warm pretty much nothing to it. We all ordered different cuts of steak, the trail boss (which was okay I feel like it lacked in seasoning or just salt but the cook was fine) cowboy steak (which we ordered medium rare but came out medium/ medium well) so they were nice enough to bring him a new one so that was great on the service part, everyone else liked their options from the ribeye (he actually just wished there was a bone in ribeye), the NY steak & the filet they all enjoyed. As for the sides, Mac & cheese was just okay. The sautéed mushrooms were good! Corn bread was tasty! Baked beans were alright. The staff also sang happy birthday & gave ice cream to my boyfriend's brother for this bday! They did cut the tie off my boyfriend which we all found humorous & fun! To wrap it up. Date/Time of visit: April 7, 2026 (7:30 PM)…read more My family and I went here for my dad's birthday, it was all our first time trying this place out. They got curious and got a reservation when they saw it as they were passing by on the freeway and thought it looked nice. Ambiance: 3/5 - Place looked nice outside with a koi pond by a nice entryway but looked underwhelming on the inside with a large empty hallway right next to a small host area, and basic waiting chairs. Dining tables were tightly packed as well. Food: 3/5 - Food looked good but tasted bland and underseasoned, might just be the lechon asado I ordered or could've just been my palatte but that's my take on it. Service: 4/5 - Service was okay, wasn't the worst but also wasn't the best. Although there were barely any customers in the restaurant at that time, we had to wait around 5 minutes after seating before we were given water on the table and asked for anything to drink. Throughout the service, waters were refilled without us having to ask but we did have to call and ask for soda refills. Overall, the place and the food was okay, and it was a good place to try.

I couldn't even hear the person across from me that I came with to eat dinner nor could I hear the server either. The restaurant was so excruciatingly loud that it genuinely caused bad ear pain and a headache so we left before ordering anything else besides water. Completely ruined the entire experience. And for reference I don't have any hearing problems and I'm in my 20s, so if I can't hear what the person directly next to me is saying then there's a problem here. It was so crowded and full of loud drunk people. Incredibly overwhelming. This place needs better max capacity laws in place or if they actually have them they're definitely not following them here. Also the inside set up is like a labyrinth. It's a confusing half open concept to the outside, half inside, and all very overstimulating. None of the staff seemed concerned at all with the hundreds of people overfilling the restaurant loudly speaking/yelling. This is unacceptable to be honest. I just wanted to come here to have a nice dinner after a long day at work and I couldn't. Beware of the noise especially if you have children or older people in your party; we didn't have either but I can't imagine how they'd feel in this chaotic environment. Btw, sitting outside won't change or help this fact either as it was also extremely overcrowded and nearly just as loud as well. 1/5 stars. Please manage your capacity better because it's driving customers away. This is supposed to be a nice restaurant not a club.

The bottomless mimosas ($29.99) sound like a great deal, but just know how they run it. There's a 90-minute minimum, and they don't bring a bottle to the table--you get one mimosa at a time, and you have to finish it before they'll bring another. The first one I got tasted like straight orange juice barely any champagne. I sent it back and to their credit, they remade it much better They mentioned they control pours to keep the environment in check, which I understand--but if you're expecting free-pour vibes, that's not the case here. Food-wise: French toast & breakfast potatoes were really good However the Chilaquiles were super dry and lacked flavor--wouldn't recommend Burger & fries were decent, but nothing special As for drink pricing, it does lean a bit on the higher side. bucket of 5 beers was around $42, $15 for a Tito's vodka shot, and even a basic Jack and Coke came out to about $18 with tip, which felt a little steep for the area. the best deal was definitely the green tea shots at only $9 I will say, our waitress Priscilla was great. She had a lot of tables and seemed a bit overwhelmed, but she still made an effort to check on us and kept my mimosas coming pretty promptly. I didn't have to wait long at all between refills, which I appreciated. Since we went for a special event, the DJs were great and really kept the energy up the whole time Parking was easy. It did say there was a $2 fee, but when we printed the ticket, we weren't charged--so it might be free, but I'd still double-check at the kiosk just in case. Overall: decent spot for the vibe, music, and brunch outing, but just be prepared for controlled drinks and slightly higher prices.

We went here for mother's day. It was my first time here. It is definitely a pricier establishment…read moreso I was looking forward to finally trying it out. We sat outside and the ambiance (both inside and outside) were nice. The outside was definitely a lot quieter than inside, and the server next to us even offered to turn on the heaters (though not needed). I enjoyed being outside. We started off with appetizers which included grilled octopus and oysters. Although, even though they were on ice, the oysters weren't cold enough for me. Still, we downed them with the fresh horseradish and cocktail sauce and just prayed about it later lol. My family liked the grill octopus. It was tender and had a very smokey char flavor but if I'm being honest, it was not MY favorite so I probably would not personally order again. Even my mom said she thought it was "just alright." I ordered the Branzino and it lacked in flavor. I was not a fan of the green sauce it had on the side. It was not completely terrible, but not great either. It was cooked well and crispy, but that's all I can say for it as even Tabasco didn't make it great. The best thing of the night was probably the lamb chops and the cheese ravioli. They were both cooked well & tasted great so if I were to come back Id stick to pasta and that. The lychee mocktails & their ricotta cheesecake were probably my favorite things on the menu. The tart was decent. Our waiter was slow at times and kept either forgetting certain drinks or what we asked of him or the kitchen was just slower than usual. I'm not sure which, but service wasn't on par with the price point in my opinion. Luckily we were pretty relaxed, but my mom had finished her food by the time her wine arrived. Overall, it was an ok night. My family at least had fun and enjoyed their time there. The food was presented nicely, and service was OK as a whole but I'm not sure I'd come back on my own accord again. Definitely nice to say I've visited & tried it out at least once though!
