Staff is friendly but this store is very poorly managed. Wait was super long today because they were short-staffed on a Saturday during lunch. Also, the drink machine has been broken for over a year. They haven't bothered to get it fixed. Feel bad for the cashiers up front because they are super nice but they have no support from management. read more

Soda machine was out of order and there weren't even any cans or bottles of drink in the refrigerator. When I got the chicken baseball, the meat was completely dry and I couldn't even eat it. My daughter told me to take it back., But quite honestly, it wasn't worth the headache for six dollars will never go back there again read more

Not the best. Depends on the person sometimes they're nice sometimes they're rude. I like their bowl. read more

Flame Broiler - Fast Food Near Me - Laguna Niguel, California

Walked in here 3 pm on a Saturday & was rudely told by the cashier they were on lunch for 20 minutes. I thought she was kidding. No apologies - just continued to lean over counter & speak with a man sitting at a table. Never going here again. read more

I had the worst experience ever at this location! upon walking in the cashier is arguing with the owner and the owner has no filter arguing back! Meanwhile, the cook is on break complaining about the owner and no one is cooking our food! Finally the cook if off break and gossiping with the cashier about the owner being a tyrant! Ugh, by this time I'm so annoyed with the arguing and lack of professionalism in this place I just want to ask for a refund and run out. Our food came as we were contemplating leaving and the brown rice was crunchy and dry like it was old. The yelling in there made my food taste horrible and gave me anxiety. I don't think they care about customers experience or the toxic atmosphere in this restaurant I will never come back or recommend this place. read more

I've been coming to this location for quite a long time, and I have to say things have gone downhill. It starts by simply trying to open the door, which could easily be fixed by the property manager if the owner of the store would take action. The menu is easy to understand and the food has been consistent. One interesting thing is that their fountain drink machine has been "out of service" for months. They have set up a makeshift drink refrigerator in the front if you want, canned or bottled sodas. The staff has been very friendly so I hate to give a negative review but things could improve drastically here. Something tells me they will not be here very long if things don't change. read more

This is a small restaurant that is truly a hole in the wall. Seating is available for very few customers. I tried the Spicy Korean Chicken bowl. Bowl included spicy chicken with vegetables and rice. Drink was also purchased. Total came to $17.23 which seems high for the tiny bowl, but this is an inflationary year. Food was quite adequate, but not filling. If you happen to be in the area, waiting to see a movie at the nearby theater and don't want to spend a fortune, this is certainly acceptable. Not fancy, and better than fast food, in my opinion. read more

Flame Broiler is one of my favorite spots for lunch. This popular fast-food chain serves the best rice bowls with grilled meats and vegetables. Today I ordered their new Charbroiled Wings! These delicious wings are lightly brushed with their signature Magic Sauce, and rapidly cooked on a 550 degree grill. Try them on a plate, in a dozen, or just a couple to give them a taste. Only available at exclusive participating locations. I also recommend trying one of their most popular dishes, the Chicken Bowl, which features tender pieces of flame-grilled chicken served on a bed of steaming hot rice, along with a side of fresh vegetables. The first thing that stands out about the Chicken Bowl is its simplicity. The dish consists of just a few key ingredients, but they are all cooked to perfection. The chicken is grilled to a smoky, slightly charred perfection, and is seasoned with just the right amount of herbs and spices to give it a delicious flavor. The rice is fluffy and perfectly cooked, and the vegetables are fresh and crisp. One of the great things about the Chicken Bowl is its versatility. It's a dish that can be enjoyed for lunch or dinner, and it's a great option for anyone who wants a healthy, protein-packed meal. Another great thing about their Chicken Bowl is its value. It's an affordable meal that provides a good balance of nutrients and flavor. The portion sizes are generous, and the bowl is packed with enough food to satisfy even the heartiest appetite. Overall, I highly recommend this place! read more

I hate to re-review this & drop it down so far, but the last few times we have come here, we have noticed an overcharged total of around $20 after the fact. So as a note to those eating here, grab a receipt and triple check it or you may have an expensive surprise later on. I'm still a fan of the food, but not ok with being overcharged $5-$10 per order (especially when it is not even $10 a bowl). read more

Only here for a coupon. Customer service is like it was just created 1000 years ago and no one knows how it's supposed to be but it's 2025 so no one is new. No one greets, no eye contact, no welcome, no smile, just a "why are you here" vibe, honestly hilarious. read more

I have a message to the owner of this business, you know why you don't have customers like the other restaurants around you? Because you have the most rude, ignorant, and violent cashier ever. She doesn't even talk or understand English to deal with customers. I tried to explain many times to her what I need, but no English, and at the end, she yielded at me. I don't recommend this place to anyone because of the wild cashier. read more

Absolute horrible staff. Mary is so rude every time we come and basically has started to refuse to serve us, and started serving us less than what I am paying for. We went in one time super nice and very ready for food. Ordered very politely and said thank you when we were done. As we were leaving we asked for soy sauce. Gave us one packet even though there was 2 of us so we asked for more. she started yelling at us saying that she cant give us more than one packet per order and asked for my boyfriend's name so he said his name. She outright said how rude he was being asking for more and how inconsiderate he was for asking where the magic sauce machine was. Mary does not deserve to work in customer service. She deserves to be fired. She continually ruins our experience every time we step foot into the building. Soda machine never works and tried to blame it on us even tho it hasnt been working for a while. We have even talked to other employees when we encounter them, being super polite asking if she is like this to everyone which they always respond with the same answer, yes. shes so rude to everyone, denies people different things that they already pay for, and has started to refuse service to people. We absolutely love Flame Broiler, especially after the gym. this is our closest location so its very disheartening on how we have been treated since the moment we stepped inside for the first time. Mary has, again, continuously ruined each seperate experience we have at this location. I went in today (8-11-25) and she didnt greet me even tho i asked how she was doing before ordering. she then responded very rudely and abruptly l, cutting me off "what do YOU want" so i proceed to order in a calm and nice manor. Refuses to give me any soy sauce upon request even though i see a bucket sitting right next to her, claiming that "were out". read more

Horrible service!!! Lady at the cash register was so rude! I walked up to order and I said hello with a smile and she replied by shoving her hand in my face saying "I'm busy! I felt disgusted at how she treated me! I had my bf order for me because I didn't want to speak to this rude lady. Aprende hablar bien con toda la gente señora. Que asquerosa read more

As every other review he stated below, the service here is awful. This franchise clearly doesn't care due to the same review over and over. I have had the same bad experience twice with the customer service and attitude from the woman here. I've been to this location several times and I am not impressed. In person or Doordash. I have been there and they have zero ice and didn't offer any solution after I ordered a drink and no ice on a hot day. The carbonation was zero and she said that they were changing it. I was there over 10 minutes waiting and nothing was resolved. Today I asked for a chicken bowl with rice and veggies and mention that I would like broccoli and carrots for the veggie portion otherwise they will load it up with cabbage. They gave me all broccoli stems! I didn't get one actual piece of broccoli that I can eat. They were all thick and undercooked. Such a bummer because I usually like Flame Broiler but maybe this particular location needs to get their acts together. read more

Worst service ever! There is a psychotic lady who work there who was beyond rude. My wife walked in and she was upset she had to get up from her "break". Except, she was the only person working there.... She messed up our order and proceeded to be absolutely rude when told about it. Then she proceeded to blame my wife in front of the cooking staff. My wife is not a Karen. Ever...but this was beyond comprehension. Apparently this has happened to many others based on the reviews read. Fire her ass! read more

Ordered online delivery because I am sick. Order was incomplete. Driver took off. Only recourse is to call the store. An unnamed employee, said there was nothing he could do. He didn't know who took the order. He said I can come down and get it, I repeated I ordered delivery because I am sick. I asked if he could give me the name of the company who delivered it, or a number, again he said there's nothing he can do "some lady picked it up." Then when I objected he raised his voice and talked over me, told me to contact Anaheim main office and HUNG UP on me. I called back, he would not answer the phone. UPDATE: Manager called me next morning, apologized, and refunded my meal. Still I didn't like being talked over and hung up on and will probably avoid this one location. read more

I've been coming to this location for years, I'm Not sure if it's new management but there's a whole new team here and it's not the same. I ordered my usual half and half bowl w avocado and not only is this what I get (maybe 4 balls of white meat chicken), but the guy argued with me about asking for 1 addition sauce. He was incredibly rude about me merely asking, shoving his paper in my face showing the rules. I asked to exchange a hot sauce for it. He let me exchange 1 sauce, but no without throwing a tantrum, giving me a dirty look, walking away saying something under his breath and slamming chairs and he arranged them. What is this? I get it's troubling times, but I just spent $16 on your chicken bowl, barely got chicken and rice was treated poorly. Days far removed from the kind folks such as Allyson worked there. Sad that my routine is done here because I'm not coming back to this location for a while. Let's hope for a better cast of people. read more

Some of the employees are friendly. The older woman that works there is always rude. They have a weird hypocritical business aspect that doesn't make sense even from a financial standing. Must be individually owned because this location is garbage compared to Lake Forest. Chicken was extremely overcooked. Bad atmosphere. You are not "allowed" to sauce your food to your liking. They are somehow the food police even if you offer to pay generously. Clearly no restaurant experience in customer satisfaction. The manager is useless & that is probably why this location is rated so low. read more

My dad went in there about a week ago, he dropped his AirPod and didn't realize until he was already driving away. He went back a couple days later to ask about it and one of the workers told him they found it and put it away for him as she was looking another worker came in and told her that it was hers and she took it home which is a big lie because even the other worker who tired helping us told my dad that she knew she was lying. My dad left without his airpods because she wasn't budging!! Never go to this place and that worker needs to be checked up on. The lady working the front was BEYOND RUDE. Rolling her eyes, snatching the card when time to pay & her tone when talking to customers was uncalled for. She's slamming the cashier drawer and then yelling at the back to the poor old man asking who is taking her shift. I dont know if this is the usual behavior of this employee but it's sad & it brings business down 1000%! I hope there are changes made and that she either gets a break to work on herself or is replaced because I wouldn't want to continue going here if I was treated with such disrespect. read more

Easy, fast and healthier than your usual fast-food joint. I've tried the beef bowl, but I think the meat in the chicken bowl is superior. The meats here are not fried, there's no MSG, and you get a choice of white or brown rice for the bowl. They don't charge extra for brown rice. I add the Magic Sauce they have (a sweet sauce) and they do keep Sriracha and Hot Sauce on hand if you want to turn up the heat on your bowl. Without one of the sauces, I think the bowl would taste bland. The only ingredients in it are the meat, the rice, and green onions (you can request that they leave them off if so desired). I was surprised to scan other reviews for this location and read comments that the staff were rude. So far, I haven't had that experience. Staff members have been nice when I went. read more

They really need to go over "customer service" again with the cashiers. She was arguing with her cook in Spanish and I understood everything that was said. It is not a friendly work environment. The cashier, a woman, is rude and disrespectful. I was in a good mood until coming here and dealing with her attitude, which she clearly doesn't want to be working there in the first place. Whoever owns this location, please visit and go over what customer service is, how to be cordial, how to open on time, how to serve food properly and how to speak to others in a respectful way. I can't believe someone hired her. Her attitude is so flippant, it's hard to miss the red flags. read more

Great customer service by Reina. She was very nice and helpful and hard worker. This lady can really carry the ship solo

If you know what to expect this place isn't bad. It's basically fast food that isn't as bad as other fast food. I ordered a regular tofu bowl with rice and veggies. The veggies are cooked fine, and the portions were generous. The tofu was undercooked though, at least in comparison to the other location I go to. The tofu also needed to be drained more. It tasted like a big block of water instead of grilled goodness. read more
