Dizzy Bird is located inside the Mission Viejo Mall food court. It is one of the first places you'll see in this food hall. We came on a Monday afternoon. The service could've been a little more friendly. The young guy working at the register didn't say much and didn't seem to really promote the menu, even after I told him it was my first time there. I was really excited to try the food here with my friend. I was in the mood for whole pieces of chicken and I'm so glad I chose the half chicken plate. The plate comes with two sides and there were a few options to choose from. I selected a side salad and roasted lemon garlic potatoes. I was trying to be a little more healthy. Otherwise, I probably would've chosen the french fries. The dressing on the salad was really good and all of the ingredients were fresh. I really liked the pickled red onions that came with the salad. The potatoes were alright. The plate also comes with a large soft pita. And the garlic sauce was just right with everything . The staff needs extensive training. They seem to just read off the menu when asked about it. Our food waited on the register for 10 minutes, prompting us to pick it up. Love the chicken moist delicious flavorful, that potatoes are equally delicious with just the perfect light lemon flavor, corn cooked perfect, and the garlic sauce is yuummm! I took the food to go, but there are plenty of options of clean seating options. I've been there two or three times now and regret not getting the employees name up front he is great - friendly, polite, pleasant - excellent customer service and knowledgeable of the menu and options. The rush was just beginning but he didn't make me feel rushed, he simply helped and all went smooth. I was excited to try Dizzy Bird as it has been book marked for a while as a "want to try"place. My daughter and I happened to be shopping at the mall and we were both hungry so it was a good time to try Dizzy Bird. She has been here before and really likes it. We both ordered the chicken breast platter with two sides. We opted for the sweet potato and pesto pasta as our sides. Both were very good. Overall the chicken breast was tender and moist however the wing portion was very dry. It probably depends on the time you come and want to make sure the chicken has been freshly made. We came on a Sunday at 2:00pm so it was not peak lunch time. The platter also came with a pita type bread and a garlic sauce/spread. I do wish they separated the pita from the dish since it got very soggy from the chicken since it was placed on top of it. But the garlic spread was delicious ! I would come back but would make sure the chicken is freshly made and I would ask for the pita to be separated. It is a really good choice if you're looking for a healthier meal. read more

I've been wanting to try Dizzy Bird since they've opened and finally got a chance. It's a nice clean new stall in the food court. I love how they have all their chicken roasting right out front. The cashier was very friendly and gave me an option of a refund or a different drink since they were out of Pepsi. I went with iced tea. I wasn't that hungry so I got the chicken wrap. Classic Bird is one of my favorite places for Rotisserie Chicken. It is a Lebanese-inspired, halal, and hormone-free rotisserie chicken restaurant. Although it is a fast food restaurant, I would rather describe it as high quality food made fast. This Location is in the food court, inside the Mission Viejo mall called "the shops at Mission Viejo". So, to start with, there is plenty of parking. The seating is in a large open area and the space is lively. great for people watching. Great for a quick satisfying lunch or dinner. They serve rotisserie Chicken plates, wraps, Salads, roasted garlic potatoes and more. (See full menu in photos) The chicken is always juicy and flavorful. Just like in Lebanon. I Love their Dizzy Bird sauce. The wraps are toasted to a perfect crunch. The Salads are full of goodness and the portions are very generous. The service is always excellent. Everyone there is so friendly and accommodating. My favorite 2 items on the Menu are the classic bird wrap and the Cali Salad with rotisserie Chicken of course. :) The roasted garlic potatoes are also delicious. I Love everything about this place. Visited Dizzy Bird for the first time after hearing great things since they've opened. When i came in, the front of house was a little bit crowded but still orderly enough to get through and out in my order on the kiosk. I would say the setting is somewhat small for the amount of volume at the spectrum, but at the time I was there it was ok. I ordered the spicy wrap with a side of fries. After waiting for around 20 minutes for my order and seeing my friends get their orders first, I found out that they had somehow lost mine. Once I alerted them to this, they were quick to prepare the order and threw in whatever sauces I wanted to try. The wrap was very good, the chicken is the highlight and is very well seasoned. Their sauces are also great, and pair nicely with the fries. I recommend their DB sauce and house made ranch. read more

Not only is the food Amazing and the service is absolutely 1000 out of 10 you can tell who the manager is and who the owner is as well and I love that they come in and they help out this has been a staple for good places to eat, and who would've known it would be in the mall such a good excuse to grab a cookie from across the way read more

The chicken is roasting away right behind the counter. I wondered what made the chicken so amazing so I took a deep dive on their website and discovered they marinate the chicken for 24 hours in garlic, lemon herbs and an our signature spice mix, then slow roasted on the rotisserie. The food pictures for the review is limited because I essentially vacuumed up my food FAST! I was ready to get seconds because everything tasted really really delicious. Don't forget to ask for dizzy bird sauce! My favorite menu items are the Silly bird sandwich and also the bowl. My son is two years old and he absolutely loves to eat here! The prices are fair and they have significantly improved on weight times for food since they first opened. I hear that you can now order online and pick up as well. Silly bird with chicken, roasted potato, garlic sauce, pickled cucumber. Hot bird with chicken tossed in hot spice marinade, garlic sauce, and house pickled jalapeños. Then also added the dizzy bird bowl with rice, greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled onions, tzatziki, pita chips, and chicken. They all come with the dizzy bird sauce which is tangy and creamy but just the right amount. They pack the wraps with meat. The bowl was hefty and we couldn't even finish it because of how full we were. I wish the wraps had veggies in them but overall the taste and execution was spot on. read more

Flavor explosion. I got the hippie wrap and added chicken. The chicken is rotisserie not fried so it's healthier. The wrap had onions, roasted corn, avocado, jalapeños (but it wasn't overly spicy )and SWEET POTATO! This wrap is vegetarian so I added the chicken for an up charge. They gave me some sauces to eat with my wrap but it honestly didn't need any sauces. I sampled the sauces on their own and they were both very delicious. I tried their chicken sauce and it had a nice creamy tang to it and then their vegetarian sauce had a very light delicate flavor and a tang. The wrap itself is grilled so it has a nice crunch.
