Wow. This place is outstanding. I saw Adam Levine and even got a picture with him.

I'd driven past it plenty of times on the way to the dog groomer and never once felt compelled to stop. Friday night changed that. We were hungry, but not sit-down-for-two-hours hungry. We wanted something better than fast food, but not some overproduced evening of cocktails and self-importance. We wanted food worth getting out of the car for. Rangeen hit that mark beautifully. Getting my wife on board took some work. She's not a curry person. But a few online photos of fresh, vibrant salads were enough to win her over. Inside, the place still showed traces of whatever came before it, a blank quick-serve menu screen hanging awkwardly over the counter, like a relic from another life. But this was table service, and a perfectly comfortable one at that. There were maybe eight or nine tables, and one lone server holding down the front of house. Casual, older, thin, moving with purpose. She greeted us warmly, dropped menus, answered the phone, checked back often, kept the table tidy, and somehow managed to make the whole room feel cared for without a hint of drama. I went for the spicy mango chicken. My wife chose a healthy-looking salad with grilled sweet potatoes, nuts, and all the things I generally avoid unless someone smarter than me orders them first. We added naan, because not ordering naan would have been foolish. The food took a few minutes longer than the impatient part of your brain might expect. But then it arrived, and suddenly none of that mattered. My dish was excellent: nicely seasoned bite-sized pieces of chicken, rice, a fresh side salad, and a spicy sauce that pulled the whole thing together with real intention. And the plating, that was the surprise. This wasn't tossed on a plate like an afterthought from the spot next to the grocery store. It looked like someone actually gave a damn. And that, really, is what stays with you. Not just that the food was good, but that care had gone into it. The ingredients may not have been expensive, I say that as someone who owns restaurants and knows roughly what things cost, but value isn't about raw food cost. It's about what arrives at the table, how it's presented, and whether anybody in the building seems to care if you enjoy it. At $19, this was a steal. For about the price of a drive-thru burger meal, I got something thoughtful, well executed, and satisfying enough to remind me why local places like this matter. And to the party of four next to us who only left a five-dollar tip: do better.

I'd rather call it an experience. My family and I predominantly enjoyed the desert selections. They were all nicely done - creative, tasty and light. Kept craving for more, even though I don't have a sweet tooth! Sukhi and team pulled it off nicely. It was great performance to say the least!

We had a party of three right about 11 AM and the restaurant was busy but not crazy. We needed a handicap accessible table for my sister and there wasn't one available, but they were so kind and moved things around to accommodate us quickly. This was really appreciated, especially on a busy Mother's Day. The service deserves more stars than five. Everyone we encountered from the host, our server, the food runners, etc. were warm, friendly and genuine. The owner Jacqueline came over to greet us, took our drink orders and checked on us. Our server was phenomenal and he made sure that we had everything we needed and made helpful recommendations. Our coffee and waters were never empty and our food orders came out very quickly. Again, this was a busy Sunday brunch on Mother's Day. I've been here many times because I live around the corner, but it was both of my sister's first time and the food did not disappoint. Everything I've had here is delicious. This time we got the Swedish Pancakes, which is their how special and comes with lingonberry butter, and I highly recommend you get one for the table to share. I got the Huevos Rancheros which came with their really yummy Hash browns. My sister got the California Omelette and said it was delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough! Service and food both are outstanding.

The food is still very good, but the management and service level has really slipped in the last year or two. They are horribly understaffed. We came in at 7pm during dinner rush, and the place had at least 20 customers inside, but only one person working the register and two people in the kitchen. That's it. 3 people during dinner rush. The cashier was on the phone for at least 10 minutes while we stood at the counter waiting to order, and never even acknowledged us. There were 5 finished orders sitting under the warming lights for those entire 10 minutes, with the customers still waiting for their food. When the cashier finally hung up the phone, she still did not acknowledge any of us waiting to order. She finally took all the backed up orders to customers, but never once said "I'm so sorry for the wait, I'll be right with you." She never acknowledged our presence at all until she finally came over to take our order. When we finally ordered she proceeded to tell us they were out of every kind of fries on the menu. No fries at all. What kind of burger joint runs out of fries? Crazy. So we just got burgers and a drink. Unsurprisingly, it took another 15-20 minutes to get our order. So all told, more than 30 minutes after we arrived before we finally started eating. That being said, the burgers were very good. And their menu is huge. Tons of options for everyone. If they can fix their staffing and management issues, and improve their customer service, this could be 5 stars again. But right now the service is far below the food quality.

I especially love dining there in the late afternoon, around 4-5pm, when the ambiance possesses a calm, sun-warmed ease, and unpressed by time. Their Pho and Grilled Pork Rice are my favorite dishes. I have seen many other delicious dishes being served, but I cannot bring myself to order anything else. The Grilled Pork would have been fantastic had it come with broken rice, but even as it is, the flavorful, juicy, and tender pork is more than enough to satisfy. I've moved far away and can no longer visit them twice a month, but I'll definitely seize any opportunity to taste that Grilled Pork again! I should've written this review a long time ago, but you never truly appreciate something until you miss it. (I'll add more photos when I find them!)
