Oh my god, words cannot describe. I'll just start us there…read more As a bride to be, I found LJDJs at a bridal expo. As someone who used to be a stagehand, and also just a person who's been to weddings where the entertainment just gets it wrong, I had VERY high standards when it came to selecting a DJ for my wedding. It's what makes or breaks your event. LJDJs won me over at that expo, and after I did my due diligence of interviewing a few of the other big names in our area, I knew LJDJs was still a level above. As a covid bride, I couldn't be more thankful to have had Jack Bermeo and LJDJs on my team. Throughout many postponements and a ton of changes, Jack was always my hype man, quick to adjust to the changes and totally got my vision. To us, he quickly became a friend. Coming off my wedding last night, I could not have been more happy with Jack and the team. The vision was executed flawlessly, the dance floor was full all night, and the biggest testament to our partnership with Jack is that I don't think a single guest had to request a song all night. Every song choice and transition was just everything. I also requested with my setup a live freestyle saxophonist, something that I think makes any and every song punchier and brings such a vibey energy. The crowd went wild, and all we've heard for the last 24 hours is that our wedding was the best people have ever been to. Brides, Grooms, Parents planning milestone events for your kids, RUNN - don't walk, to book LJDJs. Worth every penny, you will not regret it. I know I'll be a repeat customer without a moments hesitation.

Thank you LJDJS!!!…read more We booked LJDJS for multiple services (DJ, MC, Photography, Videography & Photo Booth) and we're glad we did! Jack was SUPER responsive and on top of everything. He always listened to me and was kind enough to listen to me vent (sorry - and thanks for not blocking me!). I can't explain how perfect my wedding day was. The music was just what we wanted. The guests had a blast and Jack kept everyone on the dance floor! The photo booth was sort of a last minute addition and we're so happy we decided to add it! The photo booth attendant was so kind and patient! The photographer and videographer were also very, very patient with me. I wanted specific pictures/videos and they made sure to do just that. The drone shot is insane. I'll look at the stunning pictures for the rest of my life and I can't wait to share those special memories with my family and friends. If you're looking for a vendor that genuinely wants you to have the best day of your life, and will make it happen - book LJDJS but do it fast. Rumor on the street is they're being booked pretty quickly these days so give them a call! Thank you again, LJDJS!

Whipping up everything from margaritas to peppermint espresso martinis, they make the evening so fun and effortless for me and our guests. This past year we hired Kelly Ryan as our bartender and Denise Moreno as our helper to manage the appetizers, food, alcohol re-orders, etc. and were just obsessed with them both. I think they're such a no-brainer to hire and have always been the nicest and just SO helpful. If you're looking for a company to help source some help for your next event, look no further!

I have time today…read more Just so you know now before you read the whole review, WE LET HER GO and lost our 50% deposit. I will post some screens just so you can see what the conversation was like. I was very straight forward with her and when I had my now husband to fire her, she told him she didn't know I was upset. When we actually fired her, she left a nonchalant voicemail and text with no formal apology. We booked our wedding venue in January 5, 2019 and I was going back and forth if I wanted to hire her full service. We chose her A La Carte event designing and gave her 50% deposit on February 20, 2019. ORGANIZATION & COMMUNICATION: The first thing I noticed was she was disorganized and I did not feel like she valued our business. I observed our meetings that she didn't write clear notes on my vision. I noticed myself always initiating a follow-up for everything. For example, I needed to know a quote for a design idea and I gave her extra time to get a quote but I had to wait for a long long time. All we did was wait for her! So much so that it was 3 months to the wedding and NOTHING was done. She won't VOLUNTARILY communicate what it was that was prohibiting her from following-up with us. She would always use the excuse that she was getting too many messages from other brides and my message got lost. Yes, something personal did happen in her life and I understood that but as a business woman myself, I would have sent a formal email to ALL CLIENTS letting them know what is happening. We didn't feel like she conducted her business communications well, especially after forking a 50% deposit early on. RESOURCEFULNESS & CREATIVITY She definitely was not the most resourceful when it comes to ideas and didn't negotiate prices. All the quotes were out of this world ridiculous. I initially wanted to fill the place with white balloons, that was gonna either cost 12K, 10K or 9K. Then we wanted streamers on the walls and ceilings which will costs 25K. Me and my husband are artists and we needed someone to think outside the box. She is not that type of planner. She was not after my heart when it comes to my vision and decoration ideas. She didn't pay attention to what I've said REPEATEDLY. I told her I didn't want flowers anywhere and no table runners and no girly, frilly things. She tried to fit us in the COMMON BRIDAL BOX time and time again to do what she's done over and over again and it was absolutely frustrating repeating myself. I was VERY CLEAR from the beginning, we didn't want the basic and common wedding ideas and I urged her to think outside the box. I figured if she was proud to be creative, she can handle it..... clearly, no. WHAT WE ENDED UP DOING My husband, friends and family, especially my mom, did ALL of the decorations. It was stressful but I would rather do that than continue working with her. We didn't care about the deposit because she was stressing me out because of her lack of just basic business skills. Who knows, all these might be a business strategy so we can hire her for full service but if I can't even get a text back..... Feel free to send me a message to further explain any details. This review if a short summary.

To Carrie & Wellington, EMAIL REPLY FEOM THE OWNER…read more First and foremost, let me say this again - my wife did not call you names UNTIL you posted her PRIVATE Facebook page on yelp both on our dj yelp page and on your yelp page of photos .. whether its on social media or not you were not her friend and had no right to post her photo with full name and city she resides in .. What she initially said to you was not a big deal - she answers ALL of my emails, contacts the majority of my clients and i really don't have to explain WHY my wife works at OUR business - thats insane .. Here is my response to your complaints as follows .. #1 - Our TVs are 55 inch TVs on 5-6 foot truss stands - no they do not rotate as most of them don't .. It is not our fault or liability if the way the room is designed in conjunction with how our TVs are set up that guests can not see them - we have actually NEVER had this complaint EVER !! #2 - 2 business cards on the table is not our fault if someone puts them there. ALSO, your complaining about 2 cards? Why would my DJ leave 2 cards there - i never did that in 30 years of business - sorry this so offends you .. Also, you can not tell me I CANT bring my cards into a venue .. IN THE email you stated a DJ isn't supposed to have cards at a wedding what if someone asks for them .. EVERY DJ company brings cards .. theres no LAW .. totally ridiculous .. IF you tell this to anyone they will laugh .. DO YOU think this is my first wedding I've done .. this is my lively hood .. #3 - We were given by you a numerous page "thesis" of one big run on sentence of all requests .. requests of things we never experienced or heard of in 30 years .. We couldn't even make out half the things you meant. I can't help it if people didn't want to get up and dance with your sons line dance .. We CANT force people to get on a dance floor. #4. The crew sent to your event has been in the business for 20 years and one of the DJs is also a music producer in NYC .. we use them for numerous events and have never received a complaint only praises of how excellent they are. #5. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS .. YOUR SERVICES WERE RENDERED .. MY TEAM CAME ON TIME, DRESSED PROPERLY WITH THE PROPER EQUIPMENT, FOLLOWED ALL THE SPECIAL EVENTS SUCH AS CAKE CUTTING, ENTRANCE SONGS, SPECIAL DANCES, TOOK ZAP SHOTS, PLAYED YOUR MONTAGE & PLAYED MUSIC. #6. Don't black mail me by saying I will take down the YELP post and never post again if i give you your money back .. Your QUOTE "Once we AGREE and finical restitution is cleared, I will remove my Yelp post and all of the screen shots and will rewrite the review. or not, I will leave this to your discernment " #7. DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER ON YOU? WHY BECAUSE YOU TOOK PERSONAL INFORMATION AND POSTED IT OF MY WIFE WHICH YELP FOUND TO BE A VIOLATION OF THEIR GUIDELINES WHICH IS WHY THEY TOOK IT DOWN .. #8. MINOR OFFENSES AND TRAUMA OF WHAT? You had 80 people as you stated and I can't help it if people don't want to dance at YOUR wedding .. we played the music and we did what we were supposed to do. In conclusion, this needs to end .. I have never dealt with this in MY LIFE .. ever .. I have never been asked for a dollar back nor have i ever given a dollar back or will i ever .. I feel like you are just looking for money and services were rendered .. this has consumed my life since monday and upset not only me BUT my wife .. this is now becoming harassment from you screen shooting every single piece of texts and convos to now you black mailing me .. This is my final email - do what you need to do but it ends here and you will not be receiving any refund. PS - Your contract is your financial statement. Thank you,
