We really enjoyed working with Gio for both engagement and wedding photos. - Good communication: I sometimes feel uncomfortable or unconfident I front of camera. But Gio always gave us very clear feedback while he was taking photos. He quickly and clearly told us whether we are good or we need to make any adjustments like looking at cameras, walking forward, smiling more, relaxing, or being more serious. These feedbacks gave me a lot of confidence. Gio answered all our questions through email, call or in person. - Efficiency: I don't exactly remember how much time does Gio need to share all the photos back to us. But Gio shared sneak peeks and full gallery with us much faster than I expected. - Well planned: we decided to take pre-wedding photos in SoHo. I was a little worried because SoHo is always full of people and cars, and I wasn't sure if we could finish our photo shooting within the scheduled time. Gio didn't share any detailed plan with us before the wedding day. But he had all the spots and the most efficient route in his mind, we followed him and took photos at about 5 or 6 very nice places at SoHo. We really love those photos!!! - Nice price. We chose Gio for engagement photos more because of the price. And we surprisingly found out we loved his photos as well!!!! He offered us discount for wedding photos because we had the engagement session with him, which is very nice. Thank you so much Gio! We will definitely keep in touch with you and have you take more photos for us! If I really have to say what he could improve, I would say night shoots. They clearly LACK OF SKILL and EXPERIENCE required to host a mixed-culture wedding or any event that requires crowd awareness and musical versatility. Despite providing a detailed playlist, only a small handful of our requested songs were actually played, and many tracks were thrown in at RANDOM with NO regard for the flow of the evening. Their music library was extremely BASIC, with NO remixes or creative transitions. Music transitions were POORLY executed throughout the night. For example, during the robot performance, the DJ abruptly cut from "Technologic" straight into a Nicki Minaj & Beyoncé track and Usher--none of which were remixes or remotely suitable for the moment. This completely DISRUPTIVE the performance we had planned. Overall, the music selection felt random, OUT OF PLACE, and DISCONNECTED from the crowd's energy. On top of that, there was a lack of transparency regarding payments. DJ Vito failed to acknowledge additional funds we had sent, which led to Giuseppe making incorrect and misleading claims. When we expressed our concerns, Giuseppe responded with multiple exclamation marks, displaying further UNPROFESSIONALISM and a CONFRONTATIONAL attitude. Working with Vito and Giuseppe was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience, and it cast a negative shadow over what should have been a joyful celebration. I cannot recommend their services based on what we went through.

The shoot was a blast and we're psyched to see the photos in final form. Scheduling it and coordinating could not have been easier. Leandro's photography is great…read more The problem was that he didn't show because I couldn't wire him the money during my rehearsal dinner because Wells Fargo was closed on Saturday Night. I never was given a contract to sign. Just told that I would get a contract when he was paid. Whatever, so I gave him a check and forgetting that he didn't cash it, I removed the account as cash for all the Vendors on the day of the wedding which was Sunday. Who cashes a check on a Saturday? I couldn't put it back so I transferred the money from another account so Leandro could get his payment but the banks were closed and he said "if you don't pay me in 1 hour, i am not showing up!" This was at my rehearsal dinner!!! I ended up with another photographer of three available who took cash at job site. I would love to know if anyone had an event he shot on June 8, 2014 because he left my job to go to yours. If you had no other plans on a Sunday of June 8th, except my Wedding; why would you quit and refuse to take cash at site of event? tell me only pay pal... Then tell me you are going to a Birthday Party? Leandro only paypals, no charge card processor probably because this is his side job and there are fees to charge machines. I just don't paypal because paypal doesn't have credit card protection and they wouldn't refund my money for package that was never delivered but left at my door supposedly. Oh, and he kept my deposit of $600 as a Engagement Photo Fee, which was included as part of the Wedding Shoot Package. This was agreed but only had we not used him for the Wedding; not if he found something better to do and not show up. Bottom line is... Leandro is good photographer so many would wanna use him and there is a chance that he could find other jobs if you book him and wait to pay him last minute. They had the aesthetic we were going for, more light and airy, and their book was gorgeous. We had our engagement photos with them at Skyland Manor and I was so blown away. We are super traditional and did not want a first look, they definitely tried to sway us into one, but understood in the end and left us alone about the decision, lol. I am very very thrilled about my photos and I am so excited to post them here. They were very quick which I appreciated as we wanted to get to our cocktail hour. There is also not a single photo I dislike, genuinely. Luis was our photographer and he also did our engagement shoot so we were already very comfortable with him. He has a dry sense of humor which I enjoyed, and we had no issues feeling comfortable with him and posing, etc. He also knew I didn't want a ton go group shots because we had a massive bridal party and again, that cocktail hour was calling our name, lol! I love getting photos taken, but my fiancé, now husband, is not a natural at all, but having had the engagement shoot behind us, he was relaxed and comfortable, and i think the photos look really natural and showcase us so well! They also caught a lot of the details I worked so hard on, which was a huge plus for me as a DIY bride without a planner.
