I soon learned they are everywhere in Michigan. I went to this local branch with the intention of opening accounts. I didn't have an appointment or a referral, but was quickly helped by Pooja. She was helpful and friendly. She also followed up with me in the weeks after opening. While they don't give gifts for opening new accounts anymore, the customer service is great. If you find an online incentive for opening accounts, bring it in to show your bank advisor and they'll match it!

Tried to make a cash deposit at the ATM last night. For the second time in a week and a half and…read morethe third time in a month and a half, the ATM took my card and acted normal. Took my money cycled for several minutes and then ate my money and did not give me credit for my deposit. I sat there at 10 o'clock at night for over 45 minutes trying to get the claims department on the phone ATM. This is the second time this is happened at this machine and it just happened a week and a half ago at the Barkley Circle machine. You call and talk to claims, you have to give them an estimate of how much money you put in. (so out of luck if you work on tips and have large amounts of cash that you must split up At the last second) In all three instances, I let each of the claim representatives know. I was never sure exactly how much I put in in that batch and not one person has followed up with me. In addition to this-the ATM machine is often non-functioning and will not accept, cash deposits or dispense cash. In one evening, I have literally had to drive to three different Chase ATMs to try to get my money put in my account. Often, even after getting the money put in the account the bank holds this pending on your account even though it shows available immediately on your phone. This has been going on for about a year prior to that. It was a wonderful bank and a wonderful service. I have reported this extensively several times and have extensive videos of all of these things happening in real time and every time I pull up to each of the ATMs and they are not functioning it has been reported several times and has never been corrected. I have had to waste hours on the phone trying to chase my money and find out what's going on. Terrible terrible terrible experience and service

This is one of many ATM machines that is constantly not working despite the fact that there are two…read moreof them available at this location. In the past month and a half alone between these ATMs and the main street ATM I have had my ATM card eaten and my deposit taken and not correctly credited to my account. Literally not credited at all. I sat helplessly for over an hour at this ATM waiting for a claim representative to get on the phone to help me. They told me I did not have to sit at this machine that the card would simply be turned in and I would be issued a new number. I have already wasted so many hours on the phone with Chase trying to get these things corrected. I don't want to go through the hassle of having someone get a hold of my card or having to cancel everything I have set up. So as I was talking to him, he told me that no one could get the card and was rather snotty about it. In the course of arguing with him and asking for a supervisor, the ATM was turning on and off, saying it did not have any connectivity or Internet, connection and rebooting and cycling and going through this process repeatedly I have the entire situation on Video, along with all of the other instances that these ATMs are not properly working and each time it has eaten my deposit. Well, what do you know, an hour and 10 minutes into this terrible ordeal when I was on the phone with the very unpleasant customer service agent in the claims department the ATM turned back on and got connectivity, but was still malfunctioning and it spit my card out. Had I driven off as the agent suggested, someone else would have had access to my ATM card. It is obvious that I should not have to say that this is a terrible experience, but to have it happen three times in a month and a half is absolutely inexcusable, especially for the great length I have gone through document and record each situation and report it to the bank multiple times. In each instance, additionally, not one person has followed up with me or even confirmed the amount of money that was put into the ATM. They make you give them a number when you call but if you deal with cash deposits and a large amount of bills like I do you have to split the amount up and stick them in and because I am there so often unfortunately because I am also human I don't always count each dollar out before I put it in because I had become used to being able to trust financial institutions. I was conservative each time and let them know. I was not 100% sure how much was put in so even though I claimed one number it could have been $50 more and if it was, I have never been contacted either way.

One teller assisted the first customer and told me they would be tight with me. They left me sitting there for over 10 minutes. I find it hard to believe that they can't stop what they're doing to assist a customer in waiting...

I opened up a personal checking account with Sarah sabi and somehow it attached to my sisters trust…read morein Princeton NJ, which I was one of two trustees, no one ever knew until 4 years later when I closed my personal checking account here in Rochester April 2020, it somehow closed the trust account and they gave me $405 of trust money. After contacting everyone from both side Janine in NJ, who was super vague and just and accused me of taking 405 from the trust (which is crazy cuz I had no way of getting in) Sarah at Rochester boa wouldn't talk to me, Janine from Princeton blamed me, she said "I closed the account and took the money", I said how could I have gotten into that account in the first place with no authorization from NONE!!! No one would take responsible for this blatant huge mistake, the only thing that could have put me in that account after just opening a regular checking account is my social security number, both accounts had it. Janine from NJ BOA never would say how they opened the trust and let me into my sisters Trust, no she just said that I took $405 of the trust money. Note: even if this had anything to do with me, no one person can do this, Bank of America employees are incompetent to say the least!!!!!!

you can get MUCH better interest rates elsewhere. they do not give great incentives even with…read morehigher balances. no i don't recommend. i only have one account there for convenience because its so close to my house and i don't feel like changing my direct deposit right now
