We revived a loan from this company a few years back and at first they were fine about a year ago they started calling every month wanting a payment. One month they had revived the payment cashed the check and had not posted the payment to my account and added a late fee. After advising them of the era they did refund me the late fee, they get the payment every month and it takes so long to post to our account and they harass you every day till payment post. I have asked 5 times to be placed on the do not call list and the still call starting on the payment due date and don't stop till they post the payment. We have started send double payment one to the principal just so we can get away from them. anyone that pays their bills should find a different company to get a auto lone from, they harass their customers when their billing department cant post payment in a timely manner very dissatisfied. They do not allow you to pay online with out charging a fee unless you do reoccurring payment. the only problem with that is who wont's a company like this in their bank account recommend finding someone different to do business with. customer service suck to say the least. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY. WONT DEFER PAYMENTS TO SERVICEMEN. My account went past due in January 2019 due to me not getting paid all of January because of the longest government shutdown in the history of the United States. It was due on the 18th and we put in all the necessary paperwork that they said would get approved for a deferment on the 17th.. now here we are in late February and they have not called or told us that it was denied and we are now racking up late fees and god knows what other fees. Mind you I told them I am active duty in the United States Coast Guard. I am considered essential personnel and was out serving the country without pay. I got a letter from the rear admiral of the United States coast guard saying that our service men and women may face hardship during this month and we all were working with no pay. Hell, we were even told to have garage sales to cope with the govt shutdown. Anyway, this company did not care for that, so they didn't let us defer the January payment. Absolutely ridiculous. One that serves and protects the American people with risk to his life, having to go through the hardship, lets just add this to your stress as well. This company is horrendous. Steer away as far as you can. I wouldn't even give them one star but that's not an option on here. read more

I will give these people zero stars if I could add them paid off my car in June they Owe overage check That I still have not received I've been calling the customer service line and I spoke to a woman named Sheryann Who is supposed to be the supervisor and she is telling me that they are still investigating why I have still not received my overage check yet I called last month and was told that I will be receiving my check around August 30 between August 21 and August 30 I called today because I did not receive the check and I am form them about what they told me so she told me it still be investigated and they did not receive a response from the email that they sent to disappoint office about receiving my check I recommend know by ever used them no matter how bad your credit. is I put in several complaints since June 8 and never received anything no response or anything bad overall terrible company to ever deal with read more

This is by far pretty much the worst finance company or so called lender to deal with if you have an auto loan. They treat their customers like dog doo doo. Had I have known that this company would be like, I would have never signed a contract with honda to finance my civic. They call you even if you are JUST a day late on your payment. I spoke with a so called account representative named Monique, who basically told me may car would repossessed even just after 31 days, completely rude and has no manners, kept talking over me, and blind transferred me to a supervisor. Told the supervisor I would email Kelly who is the complaints specialist for this company. Spoke with another rep 10 months earlier by the name of Monica, same exact thing. If you also ask to speak with a supervisor they blind transfer you over to another customer service or collections agent who isn't. The representatives are extremely rude and hang right up on you or transfer you to someone else with no permission. I will be doing everything in my power to make sure in a couple months I can either get refinanced through another lender or trade my car in all together to get rid of these monsters. If you finance a car with these idiots, i strongly urge you DONT! read more

If i could give their customer service less than one star i would. This lender is a joke. Nobody wants to take ownership for doing things wrong. I have never ever been treated worse than when calling this place. Cant wait to refinance. Who runs a company that charges a fee any way the customer chooses to pay their note. Crazy. read more

DO NOT GET A LOAN FROM THESE SCUM BAGS! If I could give zero stars I would. They will blow up your phone even if you are in their "grace period" to pay the bill. They are very predatory. We have a 12 day grace period to pay our bill and it's not considered late until after those 12 dayd but flagship will treat you like criminals anyway once you are in that period. In fact the called me 16 times in one day while we were in our first day of the grace period even after I paid the bill online. This company is trash! read more

I spoke with rep latasha with flagship she not only discredit all the money I pay them !!!!! But a smart ass ! Saying I can afford my car because I'm a few days late !? So I told her I was not paying it with her that I would pay it online and she then stated okay I'll document that it's a financial issue since you can't pay me wow so most unprofessional person I've ever spoken too !!! Shame on you ! read more

The customer service reps are rude and the do not document the correct information. When you make a payment no matter if it's online or over the phone you are charged and not only that they still don't have it updated sometimes for days. If we could have went with someone else I would have. This company has got to be the worst company ever to deal with. read more

I just had my car paid off. I had a scheduled payment that I called in to cancel and I was told it was. Come next week, I get a draft out of my checking account from Flagship Credit Acceptance. I called and they put me on hold for 5 plus minutes to check and realize that they made the mistake. I am then told that they will refund me in 30 DAYS! In this process of them taking out my account, I didn't see that this would happen and three other checks clear but with overdraft charges of 32.50 each from my bank. The only thing I could get out of this is "I am so sorry for the misunderstanding." I am sorry does not fix the mistake they made. I have three cars and out of any loan companies, these folks are the worst. You would think they would do what they could to honor their own mistake! There are way better lenders out there who will do there best to cater to your needs and or meet you in agreeable medium so you will know that you are valued. I don't understand their style of business when I am at the very end of my experience with these folks, you would think they would want me to give them something positive for others to consider. I just paid of my car and as I walk away, they stab you! read more

Just like everyone else is saying, this company is complete trash! Much like everyone else, my options were limited because of my credit situation so I am thankful I was able to get a loan and not have to go through a buy here pay here place because those are even worse. But, this company is just the worst I've ever had to deal with and because of that awful interest rate (which I know I didn't have to take but I needed a reliable car and didn't have cash on hand) I am stuck with this loan and can't refinance or trade-in my vehicle even though my credit has improved significantly. On top of that, if you find yourself in a situation where you can't pay on that exact day and say you need to pay it a couple of days later, they will harass you every day, multiple times a day (they've called me more than 4 times at all hours from local and non local numbers to trick you) to get payment. I would like to add, even if you made a payment arrangement say like payment was due this Friday but you can't pay until next Friday, they will STILL call you every single day trying to collect payment. They're poorly ran, have terrible employees, and prey on those who've fallen on hard times. read more

If there was a choice for no stars I would have picked it. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE . Rude, unprofessional, unethical and simply down right terrible. I mailed in a loan payoff check for $10k evidently the mail ran late so they called me ALL HOURS ,harassed me, hung up on me and were obnoxiously rude on an account I had paid off 2 years early. DONT NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED read more

This is a horrible company to finance through. They act like that can't help with payment arrangements, or to change your payment day depending on when you get paid. I had a man ask me when I called to make arrangements why was I late. I told him I had been in the hospital for a while and was waiting on a new kidney. He had the nerve to tell me that when I signed papers on getting a new car it was my responsibility to make payments. I asked him if he really thought I wanted to be sick, need a kidney and loose my job? He said well I should've never signed to buy a new car 4 years prior of me getting sick. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. I cannot say one good thing about this company. To add if you owe $600 and can only pay $200 they will not take your payment. HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!! read more

Do not finance through this company. They have terrible customer service representatives. I was given nothing but argumentative representatives every time I called and extremely rude staff. At one point I was calling because I had not heard back from the supervisor and when she answered the phone she instantly started with " I was GONNA call you!" I requested to speak to management numerous times to resolve my issue and NEVER was given to one just empty ended promises that one would contact me back. I am still waiting for information and clarification on an issue I had before Christmas. I was given unaligned information and every time I called I got the run around. Last call I received was a representative wanting a copy of a check they messed up promising a follow up and never got one. This company does not communicate amongst themselves and worse of all not AT ALL with the customers who use them. I strongly suggest against using them. read more

I agree that if they could get a zero they would. They make it impossible to make payments without cost to you and then you western union and they don't post payments correctly. Why would I WU a payment not to go toward actual payment and they put to interest and fees. I have been paying car for 4 years with no reduction of principle, I will have the car for life because they put so much interest and fees that you can never pay it off. I was with Car Finance, I did NOT ask to go with FLAGSHIP. Worst nightmare. Stay away if you have a choice. I learned the hard way. read more

My credit was bad when I financed my car but I was so excited to have a new car. I financed with Flagship credit acceptance when it was still called Carfinance. Do research if you have bad credit, I am sure there are other companies to go with. This one is a nightmare. I'll start with speaking to a customer service rep. Every single time you speak with them you have to identify yourself with 5 identifiers, Every. Single. TIme. They will ask for your social, name, phone number, address, and year make model of the vehicle. They need to make sure no one is making payments on your account, only you can do that. ( I guess that is their reasoning for extensive information every single time). Just imagine how frustrating it must be when they call you and ask you for all that information. You called me! Using my phone number! LOL and you still need all the info! Do not tell them where you work bc they will call your job all day. I always avoid talking to them. So they call my phone all day. I hate talking to them because talking to them is pointless. They will call you before the payment is due. They will call you when it's late. When you talk to them and tell them payment estimated time frame, they will call you the very next day and every day after, to talk about your late payment and why it is late and when you will pay it. You will be a broken record and you will waste your time. I would suggest waiting on a car if you can't find a better company to finance with. It is not worth it. read more

I've had nothing but problems with this company since I established a car loan with them 2 years ago. The most recent, I have been trying to log into their payment portal for three days and kept getting error messages. I also tried to make a payment using the electronic phone system and kept getting the message "you are not set up for electronic payments". I finally reached someone today, and after 20 minutes on the phone they corrected the web portal problem. While on the phone I also made a payment, but this put me 31 days past due. I asked them to please not report the late payment to the credit and they told me "there are other ways to make a payment". WTF???? Really????. Again this is NOT the first issue I've had with these crooks, but they are always looking for a way to screw their customers. read more

Absolutely the worst company I have ever had to deal with!!! I would write a book if I told you everything....... It takes a month just to get a call back from an escalated complaint I filed over 2 months ago! They charged illegal transaction fees, because we live in Colorado, and you cannot be charged the fee. They did anyway, because it took them 6 months just to update our address, after asking them to update it every single month! Absolutely terrible customer service. I hope the morons go bankrupt. read more

I got a new auto financed through this company and was told by the dealership that after I got their invoice, I could contact the company and request a due date change based on when I receive my social security check each month. I contacted the company via e-mail as soon as I received the statement and made my request. My e-mail was acknowledged by the company but I did not get a response to my request. Approx 10 days later, I sent another e-mail request and again I received a confirmation and was told I would receive a response shortly. Again, no response. Then I received a notification that my payment was still due on the 3rd of the month (the next day). I called the company and e-mailed again and was told that it was too late to change the date and that you can't change your due date until after you have made the first payment. NEWS TO ME! I said I could not pay until I received my social security payment. I called in to make the payment as soon as I received my ss payment and was told that the payment date could not be changed until the next day after my payment posted and that it would be changed at that time. IT DID NOT GET CHANGED and I just received a message saying my payment is due tomorrow. I called and was told that I should have called back after the payment was posted to request the date change. AGAIN, NEWS TO ME. They also said it was too late to change the date now since it needs to be done at least 72 hrs prior to the due date. AGAIN, NEWS TO ME! A supervisor said since they waived the late fee last month for their error, they won't waive a late fee this month. I argued that THIS IS THEIR FAULT as I was not told to call back and I am not a mind reader! I am 72 yrs. old and cannot come up with a car payment two days after I pay rent and made that very clear, both to the dealer and to Flagstaff. They don't appear to care and I feel that I am being treated unfairly. read more

I wish I had read the reviews before I financed through this company. I almost thought it was just me, but the whole world agrees that their customer service is the worst and this company is a joke. I had only one great experience with this company in 2 years from 1 Representative who took the time to call me and work a payment plan out with me during a crisis situation. When I had previously spoken to several Representatives who are insensitive and rude as hell. (Danielle Borja) to be exact! Definitely will be refinancing, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone! read more

This company is very frustrating, they want you to make your payments on time every month, but choose to report to the credit bureau whenever they decide. Had my loan I payed on or before due date for 15 months, several times I would have to despute it thru Experian just to get them to report 3 months of payments. What was most aggravating was I totaled my car feb 17-17. Once the long process of insurance paying their portion then a month later gap sending their payment, I was finally lined up to finance a new vehicle waiting 15 days until they report to the credit bureau on the 1rst of may. But of course they decide not to report so I'll have to wait another month for the debt to drop, despute with Experian submitted so I know by next month I can finally apply for a new vehicle for us read more

These one star reviews are telling the truth!!!! Flagship is worst than a title loan company!!! Been with them for over 2 years and now looking to finance with a local credit union. Purposely paid more than the scheduled amount from the beginning to bypass some interest. Found out by calling them that the overage that I have been paying was not being added to my account automatically. YOU HAVE TO CALL THEM AND TELL THEM TO ADD IT TO YOUR ACCOUNT. I'VE HAD TO DO THIS TWICE!!! I asked them could they make a memo for the overage to be automatically added. THEY SAID NO. YOU HAVE TO CALL AND TELL THEM TO DO IT. What happens to this money if you don't call? They told me they would add it when you get to the end of your loan or better yet, SEND IT BACK TO YOU ONCE YOUR LOAN IS PAID OFF! Take it from someone who doesn't like to write reviews. Just trying to help someone else out! read more

Predatory lenders just like those bad banks. Because I was in a desperate situation I financed a car loan with them almost 3 yrs ago.I am now upside down in my car loan owe $10.000 ovr the value and they call 4xs a day frm different #'s. I regret my decision every day I can't sleep and worry about my $564 payment on a Fusion to the point of anxiety. They do not refinance on existing loans. read more

They have terrible communication, which is very frustrating. They implemented a new website without giving the customers much communication. I had no idea of the new website so i didn't understand why i couldn't make a payment. After a few days of trying to make a payment, i called them and figured out what was going on, I had to re-register. In order to register, i needed my account number, why didn't the customer care person give me that info from the begining, did he not know i was going to need it? By the way, the biggest difficulty was trying to get a hold of a customer service rep, their AI machine keep hanging up on me due to "this is not a good time to call, call back later". What!!?. So then i tried to send them a message online via their "contact us", asking for my account number. They never emailed me, refused to give me my account number. I still have not gotten my account number. I will have to be "late" a month so i can get my next monthly statement. I hope this doesn't hurt my credit due to their incompetence. read more

Customer service reps are very rude, short and unprofessional. When you call with a concern they cut you off mid-conversation asking for the specifics on your account. The tone of the reps are always dry! As they answer the line to greet you it is with the most sloppy, non-enthusiastic greeting ever! One time I called to try and make a payment over the phone because their website was down (per usual) and I was told if I didn't know my loan number that they couldn't process it over the phone. I'm like can't I just give you my SSN, Name, the Make and Model of my car would that suffice??? Whoever the bitter rep was on the other end of the phone literally almost hung up in my face after "she decided" she couldn't help me. When you call there is always noise in the background. I feel as though I'm calling someone's house and they are too busy to answer the phone. I can't wait to refinance my car through a different company. If I could give a negative star I would! read more

flagship is the worse company to get a loan with. i think if you dont have a choice but need a loan go for it but i would recommend financing after a year! the customer service is bad. just not worth having a loan with plus there interest rates are crazy. read more

This company's customer service and payment process is abysmal! I found that the online payment I had made was somehow doubled from the amount I put in. I spoke with someone last week who was going to refund half which I should see by today. However, I received an email from the company saying that they had tried to process that full double payment and there were not sufficient funds to do so, of course! I called today and got the same person who is very hard to understand, but claims he is in the U.S. He looked it up and said they could not refund as the payment had come back...Just checked with the bank and the double amount went through exactly one week ago and was not denied. I asked for the call to be escalated and he finally agreed to do so and got another person unwilling to help. So I am caught between no payment and paying double. THERE IS NO NUMBER TO CALL IN ORDER TO REACH THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE. I AM DONE WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more
