No welcome in, how you doing. I eventually said how you doing. Just and ok he says. I proceed to tell him I'm new to RC and just bought my first car. No response. Just a blank stare. Hmm ok I think. Well I need some nitro and glow plugs. How many? 2, 3,10, 15, he says in a short, unfriendly tone. Dude had no customer service skills. As I made my debit payment he glared at my wife and our baby. Maybe he doesn't like our brown skin kind in his store. Who knows? He was rude and made us feel uncomfortable and unwanted in his store. I would've been a repeat customer. I have a nitro car and buying an electric 6s car this week. I'm sure I'll need extra parts and batteries and a charger. Tacoma RC Raceway will never get a penny of that business. I'll buy online and not have do deal with a rude old dude that's ungrateful for my business. I'm a very loyal customer when I find a friendly welcoming business. That old dude was neither friendly or welcoming and made us feel very unwanted in his store. That's my experience there today and good for you if you've had a better experience.

So we highly recommend for statue and craft needs as well as games. They have parking, a bathroom, and a big shop. They are in the popular alleyway behind South Tacoma, in the old bank at the corner. I have a fair amount of collectibles and there were a couple action figures I was looking to (reluctantly) unload (a 1983 Inspector Gadget doll and a NECA Ada Wong to be exact). I had looked online and consulted various other stores in the area and the few offers I had received were far from fair. I'm happy to report that Alex and Andy knew the market and what my items were going for online. We even looked them up together. We had some obligatory endearing haggling and in the end they offered me a fair price for my beloved items. They were the only store that I had spoken with in the local area that were not only fair in their evaluation but even in the same league as the market value. They even appreciated the items as much as I did so I knew they would end up in a good home. Again, I only wished I knew about them sooner.
