There's a large amethyst peace as you first enter the outside area, which is much cheaper than you can get it anywhere else, but I thought the geodes were a little expensive.

I went here this weekend for a sound bath and it was also my first time here. I am someone who…read moreloves getting immersed in the sounds, particularly of the glass singing bowls. When arriving yesterday, I met Sarah first who is the sound bath practitioner. She was very nice and had great energy. I then met the owner who is also nice and has a calming energy. I also appreciated the samples of stress relief tea they have there. I also liked the personal touches in the store and thoughtfulness. For the sound bath experience, Sarah made mention of considerations for everyone there including being as quiet as possible. During the session some people didn't seem to listen to that and a cell phone dropped, there were chairs moving, etc. There were other external noises that made it difficult for me to be fully immersed. I felt my jaw clenching with each external sound made. I do appreciate the value and the experience. For me and my personal needs, I would need a very quiet environment to get fully immersed and relaxed. I didn't shop around but I saw a lot of unique items in the store that were beautiful and focused on wellness and energy. I recommend this store while also providing a predominantly transparent review of the sound bath experience. My two most important rings had been just sitting in my jewelry box; my wedding band that is engraved and a birthstone ring my Mom gave me for my 21st birthday. I had asked about putting the wedding band on a necklace with links around the band instead of looped through the center of the ring. After a few moments, David said he had a better idea. He wanted to drill through the band and thread a chain through. Plus hang a stone to showcase from it. That pulled in my Mom's ring. I'm absolutely in love with the end result. See picture. Half the Buddhas are broken, and even the gold paint is chipped on every single figurine. I can buy the same crystals at a metaphysical shop with better quality and less than what this store charges. The southeast Asian style clothing is cute, but also of mass produced quality with snagged and flimsy fabric. The merchandise is cute, but simply not worth the price when it will break before you even get it home. The customer service is completely nonexistent. The only thing this store has going for it is the clean display. Nothing about this place remotely represents the hippie movement of the 70s. Everything is based on Southeast Asian stereotypes, or marketed toward New Age fads. I love a good tarot deck, but I can shop for that in a metaphysical store. My advice: save your money and avoid the tourist trap.
