We stopped there to get gas earlier this afternoon on our way to Walmart to get stuff for dinner. $5 in gas later we were off. Paid at the pump with our credit card. Once we got to Walmart and started checking out, I tried using the card....and it was declined. Checking the available balance, it was -$9.88 as in negative. When exactly does $5 in gas cost you $56? I called the guy at the station, he was less than helpful and claimed holding $50 is normal. Uh, NO ITS NOT. I have NEVER had a gas station hold that much dang money off a credit card. Didn't even bother to have a disclaimer or warning on their pump stating the $50 hold fee. They charged me $5 for the gas, $50 to hold and another $1 to see if the card was good. Thieves. read more

CEFCO is definitely a brand I'm not familiar with named after the founder C.E Fikes who started out…read morein 1952 with one line Texaco Station in Cameron, Texas they now operate over 200 stores in (4) states (Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida) I'm guessing for now in western Florida only since as of this time there aren't any in my hometown on the east coast of Florida for now at least. I'm not really brand loyal but I do normally frequent newer C-Stores when it comes to pumping gas. Today 87 octane was $2.899 per gallon I pulled in to fuel the Subaru out of curiosity more than anything. I was surprised to find a number of the pumps displayed the famous yellow "out of order" bags over the pumps and the rest had customers either pumping fuel or inside the store so I had to circle the fuel islands several times to get a pump (not the best first experience). Well one finally freed up and I filled up, everything worked fine including the receipt dispenser and the place looked well maintained- I did visit the restroom and it was clean as they stated on their website so they seem to deliver on that promise so except for playing musical chairs at the gas pumps all appears to be okay...

Driving on Ferndon Blvd a few days ago I noticed this gas Station with prices that were a little…read morelower (back then I must say since they go up every day now) and decided to fill up and get water at the store. Store looks clean and well organized and there is also an ATM on premises. When leaving town I noticed another Cefco on the South side of Ferndon Blvd with the same prices but I don't recall seeing any of them on the Interstate. Will come back when in town

Tom Thumb is a large convenience store franchise in the Florida Panhandle and surrounding area. This particular tom thumb is next to the corporate headquarters (aka they are being watch and scrutinized MORE than any gas station you can imagine. 2. Even before the recent menu expansion, if you were looking for fried chicken, baby back ribs, potato wedges, or amazing breakfast and sausage link biscuits this place was your go to!! 3. In the last month they have added frappes, smoothies with additional shots of protein or healthy supplements, swirl ice cream and multiple flavors, and coffee options as if they were a coffee shop. This is an experiment by cooperate, and it's WORKING!! 4. The machine they use for frappes is the most advanced thing I've ever seen, just a touch screen menu that the employee pushes & the entire thing is completely made and then as soon as it comes out, it self cleans. And it's QUIET the entire time!! Nobody has machines as advanced as this.... .... except in the movie Terminator.... ... but those machines also killed people so forget that..... 5. I sampled the mocha and cappuccino frappe's and they tasted even BETTER than the big-name coffee chance. If anyone visits Crestview in the future, and you want to know what makes this city different than anywhere else? You have to try out this restaurant/gas station.... you will not feel disappointed but everyone will question your life choices if you tell them you went to a GAS station while on vacation to get some EPIC food!! I had to settle for whatever brand I found there and I don't know how several small amounts add up to 103 dollars, seriously? I am not buying a first aid kit for a school but that is inflation and whatever I need to do to prevent infection is worth every penny Will go back when needed but will keep an eye on prices.

The star was definitely our server! She was an older lady and was just a kind lady. I loved her. She was very attentive and her personality just shines! I hope when we get to visit again she will be there. I was really hopeful to try an egg Sando but they didn't have any in the little fridge so I hope I can get one next time. My biggest recommendation is the apple honey tea! It was delicious! Especially on a cold day I got it hot and it was just so comforting. We can't wait to visit again and I hope all the workers know they are doing amazing!

The ambience: immaculate. * The Dolce Forno team have stylised the outdoor seating area in a way that feels both comfortable yet refined, cultivating an incredibly welcoming, relaxed, and sleek outdoor dining venue. It is sheltered from the weather without feeling too enclosed or claustrophobic, so much so that my husband and I more than happily (and comfortably) sat outside whilst waiting for our pizza in 32 degree, windy weather. Speaking of wind, the aromas that wafted out of their kitchen upon approach has us 'sold' before we'd even had a chance to peruse the menu - if they could bottle and sell those fragrances in a candle, my house would be smelling like the Dolce Forno kitchen year round! * There is a limited number of parking spaces located off the street out front of the business, as well as overflow parking around the back, with convenient access to the business front from both parking areas. The service: exceptional. * The Dolce Forno team were efficient and professional, and went above and beyond with their customer service. Other customers opted to wait in their cars whilst their food cooked, and the owner and chef opted to hand deliver their food to their car without even being asked, and with a smile on his face. The food: indescribable. * Currently, I can only speak to their pizza, which is truly light-years ahead of any other pizza that either my husband or I have ever had, having lived and traveled to several countries and cities around the world. I cannot wait to work my way through the entirety of their menu! Dolce Forno is more than proving why in December 2025, UNESCO declared Italian cuisine to be the first entire national cuisine to receive the honour of being an 'Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity'. The value: phenomenal. * Almost too good, to the degree that it feels borderline criminal to have paid the price we did for the above experience we received. Final thoughts: * I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically encourage (nay, implore) everyone within the area to try Dolce Forno when they have the means and opportunity. To finish, I'll leave you with my husband's 2-cents; upon finishing our pizza, my husband declared "this is the only place I'll be ordering pizza from in Crestview... Food this good shouldn't be allowed to exist."
