It's always affordable but good quality so that I keep it and get memories of my travels each time I pull it on back home. And now it's here in a proper, permanent shop! UNIQLO glows red and white at the end of the new section of Macquarie Centre, drawing many a shopper into its cavernous depths. Seriously, I thought I had gotten to the end of the shop but then turned a corner and bam, more clothes! While the clothes here aren't quite as cheap as if you bought them in Asia or the States, they're still a bargain by Australian standards eg $15 for their custom print tees, $30 for a pair of jeans. Same price for a similar item would get you a significantly inferior product in other shops. I have a feeling that I'll be coming here for more than just emergencies.

The first time was a mother board issue. They recommended I call AppleCare, and Apple Care covered the entire fix even though the laptop was out of warranty. Talk about a solid relationship with an authorized service center. The line has never been more than 5 people so this is ultra convenient. The 2nd and 3rd time my computer wouldn't turn on for rather unknown reasons. They ran diagnostics and reset my PRAM, SCM, and something else I've forgotten the name of. Always worked and wasn't charged. Way helpful and I would highly recommend this place to any Apple user.

Well that just wasn't going to happen, apparently not on her pay scale... and her offsider wasnt much more use - he said it was 'just too early in the morning' to deal with my simple request for help. Even though my company is (or was) a regular customer, and frankly I wasn't exactly asking her to donate a kidney...... Anyway, lesson learnt. Thumbs down, Mac Centre !
