Without any specific recommendations, I ducked into and out of a few shops before I found one that seemed legitimate and capable. Digital Mix is located in the center of Dixon shopping center in Chinatown on the ground level. After talking with the techie inside for quite awhile, I agreed to leave my phone in their hands over night. I walked out of there hopeful and excited to finally be a legitimate person again- an iPhone user- and get to retire my airport-acquired red Nokia. Much to my disappointment, I received a call about 30 minutes later. It was the shop girl at Digital Mix revealing that because of the hardware and software combination on the device, they would not be able to safely or effectively unlock it. CRAP! I picked up my lemon of a phone with discontent and disappointment. Thinking about it, however, I am happy that the shop didn't just go ahead with the procedure and totally ruin it. I have confidence that had my phone been a different version (something other than 4.1), they would have been able to set me up. Unfortunately, I am now left with a fancy iPod that also doubles as a paperweight.

The sales assistant James was very helpful, when giving advice about topping up my RAM on my hard drive he says including installation it would only cost about $60 to increase the speed by 20%. He made it sound like a really easy worthwhile process that I might just head in there over the next few weeks to get my lap top serviced. I think it could do with a bit of extra attention. And I think James has just the touch.

Dear Sir, I'm sorry…read moreto make some negative comments about this store. I've been to many Officeworks stores around Sydney and unfortunately have found many of the customer service staff working on the floor here being quite unhelpful, unprofessional and ignorant. They hardly come to customers even though they're doing nothing. Even if a staff is busy with something other than serving a customer, they must approach to the new customer immediately to assist by leaving all other things aside. I often struggled to get hold of someone even though the store hardly had any customers at that time. Some of them were even quite rude as they were asked for assistance. Hope this will help improve the overall customer service situation. Regards, Romeo
