Yevhen was quick to respond about a washing machine repair to replace a rubber gasket on our front load LG. I texted him around 8:00 in the evening not expecting a response till the next dat. Not only did he respond quickly, he asked if I knew the part number and gave me a very reasonable price quote almost immediately. After hearing the price, I gave him the go ahead to order it and he was at my home the next day replacing the Rubber gasket! First off, I can't thank Eugene from Fix Kot enough for his outstanding customer service, professionalism, and clear technical expertise. I was having a problem with my LG refrigerator and ran out of ideas to get things working on my ice maker. Normally I can solve most problems with my appliances, but in this case I needed help. I got a call back almost instantly and Eugene made arrangements to help me out on a Sunday morning. I have to say his communication was as good as it gets. He told me he would be at my house between 9:00 and 10:00 and he showed up exactly when he said he would. He even gave me a courtesy notice that he'd be at my house within 15 minutes. I welcomed him into my house, gave him the breakdown of what was going on and he got to work right away. I appreciated his process of elimination as to what the problem might be. Within 5 minutes he figured it out. It turns out there was a single faulty pin connection between the male and female wire harness assembly that connects into the ice maker. And just like that everything was resolved. I had a brand new ice maker which he installed for me. He also did some diagnostics to make sure the refrigerator was working as it should. I have to say, It's refreshing to meet professionals like Eugene who are extremely pleasant, passionate about their craft and very confident in what they do. I have problems with my gas stove starting. Eugene responded quickly. The other companies charge a fee to come taking a look. Eugene didn't charge me upfront. At first I was a bit worried that he will tell me a lots of parts need to be changed like there's a catch. But when he came, he just reconnected some wires and didn't even replace anything. My old Kenmore gas clothes dryer had a stuck lint filter and was making noise while drying. Eugene from Fix Kot was able to come the same day, diagnose the problem as a bent latch and worn out belt. Though he suspected the rollers might have gone bad, he confirmed they were still fine. Gave me a reasonable estimate for repair. After disassembling the dryer, cleaning out a decade of lint inside, removing a piece of bent latch and replacing the fraying belt, the dryer worked well. Just had the pleasure of Eugene at our place and let me tell you, he's a real honest, nice, hard working man. My dryer was not working so i went on yelp and they recommended me this business. Eugene notified me what time he would be at my place and arrived a little later than usual but no biggie. When he arrived he started diagnosing my dryer and it turned out the moisture sensor was going bad. He said he wasnt going to charge me for the visit and then explained to me how to change the sensors myself if i wanted to save $ on labor. The one thing i love about eugene was that instead of trying to sell me his service and labor right off the bat, he taught me how to DIY to try and save me money! That right there has earned my business for the future! Afterwards he told me if i couldnt do it, i could give him a call and he would fix it for me at a reasonable price! Luckily for me, i took apart the damn dryer a night before with no problem so its safe to say i can do it myself. But if youre a widow or not tech savvy, i would give this business a chance! I definitely recommend Eugene. My new Samusung washer stopped spinning and was very wobbly. I used Yelp and put out a project. Eugene quickly responded and we were able to set up a service date/time. He came to my house in the time he suggested and got right to work. Told me my issue and that we had to order a new part and wait a couple more days. We did all that and he ordered the part which he showed me was a reasonable price online. 3 days later he was back at my house replacing the part and fixed my washing machine. Since he did a great job, I rehired him to maintenance my dryer and refrigerator. So he came back a few days later and did just that. My dryer is 10+ yrs old and I want to keep it running, so he showed me a belt that was starting to unravel. He had one on hand and replaced it. Also the dryer exhaust hose was falling apart in places I couldn't see, but he replaced that too. Thanks to Eugene my washer, dryer, and frig all run better and will last longer.
