The new part arrived he did a great job at my request to take photos for me of the inside of the machine before and after. Instead, the tech went to Home Depot on his own, bought a cap, put it on the end of a tube as a temporary "fix," and charged me $200 for it. I was never consulted or given N estimate. When I pushed back, they claimed it was "urgent," but it wasn't -- it was a slow trickle leak that had been going on for days and was being managed just fine in the meantime. I refused to pay for a fix and came back out and removed the cap. My tenant then did the exact same fix himself for a couple bucks in a couple of minutes. Then they quoted me $450 to actually fix the problem. I bought the part myself, and my tenant -- with zero appliance repair experience -- looked up a how-to video and installed it in under 20 minutes. On top of all that, I was charged $85 for a "diagnostic" before they gave me the diagnostic. I had to ask for them to tell me the part that was bad.
