The real reason they said it was defective is because they listed the price wrong and didn't want to honor the advertised price. Then the store website would not allow me to write an honest review like this one, which exposes their illegal false advertising and poor tactics.

They did tell my child the cost of tow and tow yard fees and didn't give an option to tow else where. They put in tow yard last night after was hit by a deer. We called at 8 am to try and get car. They told us there is addition fee of $75 to remove on weekend. Also if car is there more than 24 hours a $40 fee. Total for car was close to $500. They won't do veterans discounts, or any AAA. Keep in mind car was drivable once bumper was removed and would have cost nothing. They took advantage of two young ladies when folks are hours away. The girls told them that if bumper was removed they could drive it back to campus. They wouldnt allow it. I feel that they rape you in price. As for the tow guy he did remove bumper and did take photos but that's all I can say is good. Save your money and call your own tow. Which I would have done if I knew what they where going to charge us.

Tuesday October 28th worst store experience ever. After trying twice to purchase a battery online…read moreso all I would have to do is walk in and walk out. After the second attempt it still did not work. About 2 hours later I went to the store and found a battery and bag of dog food and the cashier lady made an accusation about me stealing something. I was standing in the checkout line with my debit card in hand trying to explain it had 2 holds on my account for the same purchase but it still had not confirmed my purchase was being processed or even received yet. I have spent a considerable amount of money at Rural King over the last 20 years to be treated like a POS. After the 3rd phone call today I now have the pending charges removed but still no apology or anything. I will not be purchasing anything from any Rural King again and I will urge everyone else to do the same. Good bye Rural King.

One of the "favorites" is checking out the baby chicks one can purchase. That's right you can start eating fresh eggs grown in your own back yard (some may need to review their HOA rules, ha!). Tools with brand names Milwaukee, Dewalt, and Crescent are just some of the inventory names on hand. The store seems "crowded" with so much inventory but it's organized and laid out well. I found a few auto maintenance items including "rain-x", which, btw, works wonderfully on windshields. (I'd forgotten how much rain the Midwest has in the springtime.). The employees were helpful and friendly. The items I purchased were competitively priced. Check this place out, and don't forget to check out the chicks. :)
