Communication was good throughout the process, and he did an excellent job repairing my Xbox Elite Series 2 controller. I was having several issues with the controller, but after the repair, everything is functioning properly again and working exactly as it should. It's definitely nice to find someone who actually knows how to work on these controllers, especially since they aren't always easy to find someone locally willing to repair. Matt was professional, easy to communicate with, and made the entire experience smooth. The service and quality of the repair were absolutely worth it. **10/10 experience.** I would definitely use Moore Tech Repair again and highly recommend Matt to anyone needing electronics or gaming equipment repaired. I came to this place because my phone was cracked. He sold me when he offered a 3 month warranty…read more To my understanding the warranty covers you in the case the screen black outs. Any physical damages would have to be paid for. Which is reasonable I agree and he fixed my phone. I have a 17 Pro Max the orange one. After he fixed it he told me my "stand by" function will no longer work which I thought was fishy considering I'm paying $200. I bought a new screen privacy screen protector and when placed on my new screen lines appeared as if the screen was rejecting the screen protector. Now these are problems that I noticed immediately they're small and not the end of the world but it's worth mentioning since people are paying. Now back to that 3 month warranty in the case the screen blacks out. I had a gathering with my family so to stay engaged I sit my phone the table. Something I do all the time never been a problem. I wake up the next morning to retrieve it and it won't turn on. My phone will ring , you can feel the vibrations my phone is not broken my screen just blacked out Something That Was Supposed To Be Covered In The Warranty . I call him and he tell me he can not replace my phone if it was damaged by water. The way he can tell or not if it has water damaged is by a strip inside the phone if it's x-color it dry if it's y-color it's been water damaged at some point. I tell him my phone has been wet before I came to him and I'm positive my phone just blacked out. He tells me he would not have sold me the warranty had he known I had previous water damage because it makes the screen more prone to blacking out. WHICH IS TOTALLY UNDERSTANDABLE. But my problem today is I was not notified of this disclosure until after I've already paid and my screen is already blacked out. This business represented horrible communication and integrity the price is extreme and the product is mediocre. If I pay $200 for a service I expect all the functions of the phone to be there after the service. And if your selling point is your warranty you should be communicating your terms.

I have used their discount program since dec 2020. It automatically renews each year. my…read moreunderstanding is the discount program was tied to the phone used for my phone number. I purchased a new phone close to a year ago and was under the impression that this phone would receive the same discounted service. I called to bring phone in for repair and was informed that i have been paying for a service for one year for a phone that i no longer use. I feel like they should honor the discounted repair for the phone i purchased a yeAr ago since all it involves to have the new phone insured under the same plan is to let them know i have a new phone. I can proof that i purchased this phone and have used this phone since May of last year. It isn't like i am asking for something that i haven't paid for. I have paid their annual 70 fee or whatever the fee is. Bottom line is they should honor repairing my current phone or refund the discount plan fee since it is useless for me. Hard to believe they are making a big deal and losing a customer over a repair that could be as simple as cleaning out the charge port I am waiting to hear from the owner. If you are looking for a company that stands behind its warranties and treats customers with basic…read morerespect, do not go to this Batteries Plus location. I bought a $276 Duracell AGM car battery that came with a 48-month free replacement warranty. Exactly 11 months later, the battery completely died. When I brought it in, the store's own testing equipment showed it would not charge past 6.5 volts. In the automotive industry, a battery capping out at 6.5V means it has a shorted internal cell--a catastrophic manufacturing defect. Instead of honoring the 48-month warranty, this store used a deceptive technical loophole. They have an internal rule that if a battery drops below 10 volts, they automatically blame the customer's vehicle and void the warranty. I have full computer diagnostic logs proving my car's electrical system is perfect with zero parasitic drain, but they refused to even look at them. They just wanted to use their loophole to avoid replacing a defective product. To make an already frustrating situation worse, the customer service was shockingly unprofessional. The clerk, James (initials JWB), actually used my official printed invoice to type out fabricated, defensive, and insulting comments about me to justify denying the claim. When I pushed back, the staff tried to hide behind the excuse that they are a 'veteran-owned business'--while actively using a bad-faith loophole to deny a valid warranty claim for a disabled veteran. Using a hidden policy to get out of a warranty is bad business, but an employee using a customer's official receipt to write personal attacks is completely unhinged. I am currently disputing this $276 charge through American Express and filing a formal complaint with the Georgia Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division for deceptive warranty practices. Save yourself the headache and buy your batteries at a standard auto parts store that uses proper diagnostic equipment and honors their word.
