Horrible, horrible customer service. I made an appointment well in advance with my insurance and confirmed it with Fix Auto beforehand. When I showed up for said appointment I said "I have an appointment, the insurance is through Allstate." Their response was "Ummm, Allstate? Huh? Umm, no, I don't think so. Maybe come back another day?" I repeatedly insisted I had an appointment that I had confirmed both through my insurance and by calling Fix Auto. Same response "No, I don't think so." I was unable to get my Allstate rep on the phone, so I went home, rather than wasting time arguing with someone who isn't going to do anything with me. Later that day Allstate confirmed again that I should have had an appointment. So we conference called Fix Auto together. Their response was now "Oh you should have told us you had an appointment!" First off, I DID tell them I had an appointment. Second, wouldn't you inquire when someone's there to drop off a car if they had an appointment or not? They then proceeded to tell me that my appointment was "on another calendar." Why are they keeping two sets of books? Are they up to something fishy? When I came to pick up my car after the repair they basically handed me my keys and said "here you go." Only at my insistence did they do a walk around of my car, which was about as un-thorough as my brother's 10 year kids would have done. Long story short: if they can't find your appointment, ask if you are on the "double secret probation" calendar. Otherwise, I'd strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Got my car hit by another driver. This is a Geico authorized shop, so I wanted to bring my car here. The other party's insurance was USAA and they too used this shop as an authorized shop so we were good there. Service. Prompt, Friendly, and Explained all of the details well. Went over the damaged area of the car in great depth and made sure everything was fixed perfectly. Only con: They say they have Enterprise rental on site, but they only have an enterprise REP on site. They do not have cars on site, or at least don't have very many. When I dropped my car off it took 1.5 hours to get 3 waiting parties to the Enterprise office 2 miles away. Luckily, after my car was ready you can drop the rental off at the body shop. I wish they either had cars on site, or was told up front that it might take this long to get into a rental car. I would have made different arrangements. I was told it would only take 10 minutes. Quality of the work. Very good. I'm not going to say it was perfect. A little bit of overspray on the clear coat, and some of the lines were very slightly visible, but it was 98% fixed to satisfaction. Honestly were not really talking a big deal, but I'm just a bit OCD like that. I would definitely recommend this place to others. The passenger side mirror of my 2018 Toyota Camry was knocked off, so I went in on a Friday to get an estimate. Johnny from AllState helped me out. He was curtious, professional and made this upsetting experience very easy. The part was ordered right then and there. Wednesday morning the part was painted and ready to be installed. My car is a matalic blue/ green color, not very common. The color match on the new mirror was spot on! I was very impressed and satisfied. Johnny's care and attention to detail on the exact color was the highlight as that was my biggest concer, that the new mirror would be a different color than the rest of the car. After arrival, it took a quick 30 minutes and the car was ready to go. They have a nice waiting area with complementary coffee and water. They were nice to work with and pleasant on the phone but when I came to pick up my car, I noticed the rear bumper did not correctly fit the car. I asked if that is a new bumper and they said it is New and they just installed it. When I asked why it is not on right, the sales person tells me that the margin of error on a Ford is two millimeters and that being off by two millimeters is within how they fix things. I pointed out that the other side does not look like the same and that the Car is not symmetric, he replayed that is ok. For me, that is not ok and being off by only two millimeters does matter. Note - Fix Auto Collision is the same as Fix Auto Tustin I was referred to Fix Auto by Geico, the insurer of a car who rear-ended me. Don't think of this as a regular auto repair shop -- it's Geico's "one stop shop experience" (there is a Geico estimator, an Enterprise car rental, and the actual repair shop). While this may seem efficient and convenient, what this means is that their primary customer is Geico, not you. Everyone I interacted with was courteous and professional, though not necessarily efficient and reliable (ex. I arrived at 4:40pm and had to wait until 5:50pm; I was informed the minor cosmetic damages would take 2 days when they ended up taking 5 days). What got to me, though, was that when I went to pick up my car and was being hurried out as employees wanted to leave (I arrived at 4:20 and waited a full hour), I noticed that a piece of the car on the inside was missing. The remaining repair mechanic took a look, admitted that something was missing, then went browsing in the back to find the missing piece. It's completely human to make mistakes, and this was not that big an issue, but the shop should have a business process/checklist to make sure cars are fully serviced and where they should be prior to being returned to the owner. My car was hit while it was parked. Luckily a witness stopped the person from leaving and came inside to see whose car that was since it was parked in front of my office. (We have cameras outside so it would have been bad if she had left) The lady admitted fault and she gave me her info and I ended up taking my car for repairs through her insurance at this office. I am very satisfied with the customer service of this location. My car was returned to me within three days, just keep in mind it received minor damage to the rear bumper, and though it needed to be entirely replaced, it was still minor. BUYERS BEWARE!!! I picked this place based on good reviews on Yelp, but that was a big mistake. First of all, they delayed an estimated completion date 3 times by at least a week each time. So, my dad got his car 3 weeks later after the date that was initially communicated. But the worst thing is that the repaired back bumper fell off the car a few weeks ago for no reason - just from regular driving, there was no any damages to the car. Fix Auto was the certified shop through my insurance company. Was involved in an accident and had rear bumper damage. Dropped my car off on Wednesday morning and I got a call the next day that my car was finished. I was surprised it was done so quickly. I picked up my car the next day and drove to work. That was when I noticed the mud guard was about to fall off since it was not installed correctly. Also, they didn't replace one of the parts that was damaged in the accident. I went back to the shop a few hours later and spoke with my service rep about the issues. He took the car back to the shop and I had to wait for them to fix the mud guard. The other damaged part had to be ordered so I was told he will call me on Monday when the part arrives to come back to get that fixed. Now, a whole week goes by and didn't hear back from anyone. Then, coincidentally, I got an email to fill out a survey for Fix Auto. After I filled it out, I immediately got a call from my service rep telling me that he got a message from my insurance company to call me. When he called, he had no idea what was going on so I had to explain to him what he failed to do. This guy completely dropped the ball on this. Fix Auto was recommended to me by my Allstate insurance agent after I was involved in a fairly severe accident. I expected repairs to take a while, but it took them six weeks to get everything finished. They pushed back the completion date not once, but twice--both times with a last-minute notification to me. I haven't noticed anything different about the way it drives thus far. Over the 2 week process Joe kept me informed almost daily. He took the time to explain everything in detail and answered all my questions. When a latent issue arose on the day I was originally scheduled to pick up the vehicle, Joe handled it with great attention and urgency and assured me it would be addressed at all costs. It was and thankfully so.
