They even cleaned the interior / exterior of my car (which was MUCH needed) and my baby looks brand new! They were very responsive and their work was impeccable. I chose Fix Auto recently to get my car repaired after a minor collision. The other party was at fault and their insurance covered everything as far as cost, so I can't speak on that aspect of my experience here. Every person I dealt with, both in person and on the phone was extremely courteous and polite. I was updated throughout the entire process, although I will say, it was very fast! Faster than I expected for repairs. I had an excellent experience with Cecilia. She was extremely kind and personable. I would recommend them to any of my friends and family. Hopefully I don't need any vehicle body repair work in the future, but if I do, this is where I will go. read more

Wish I could leave zero stars. Went in for an estimate for my insurance. First they told me that I couldn't get a copy of the estimate that it goes to the insurance company. Went ahead with the estimate because the insurance wanted us to go there. Now I can't get rid of them. The hard sell, they call, they text. They say they already order the parts (we never asked for them to be ordered), I asked if they got the fender in, he said no that my husband and him agreed on fixing the current fender (which would've been in the estimate that we couldn't see). I asked my husband and he said that he never agreed to that. And never agreed to ordering parts or even using them to fix the truck!! They said if we don't come in the parts that they did order (again never asked to have them ordered) would be sent back. This badgering and hard sell is disgusting. Are they on commission? Just based on this, I would never use them. I would rather drive around with a dented fender. Geeze. read more

So, I had to get a quote on my daughter's vehicle. I had called and scheduled an apt., but we ended up in Escondido stuck in traffic and were driving break-neck speed and could not make it. So, i called and apologized. I drove over today w/o an appointment. I went in, they pulled up the request for a quote from AAA. Let me say one thing, the woman office manager there is really great, but if the guy who seems like the manager - he did not introduce himself - treats her just a quarter of the way he treated me, she could definitely get a better job. Flash back - So, a few years ago, I took another car in to get fixed - all through AAA - I had taken it in to get fixed from an accident. So, I also showed them a dent on another part of the car - and asked them to fix that, but to charge me separately for that. I was very clear - no nod and a wink. I was very clear. They had good prices at the time. So, when I got the bill - it had all been charged to AAA. I called AAA immediately and explained the situation. I also paid for it. The work they did was fast and good. So, that was many years ago. Fast forward to today. I did not have an appt, it's very rare when I can get my daughter's car - she's in school and has two jobs with varying hours. So, I go inside - I had already explained to the guy who seems like the manager that I had gone somewhere else for a quote through AAA and they said they had to keep my car for four weeks! And I can't get AAA to pay for the rental. So they told me to go to this place. I cringed because of the relationship I already had with them. I guess they still did work for them. I think he remembered me and the situation, because he'd already been through this whole spiel about how his company doesn't do additional work and charge AAA - I had to swallow my tongue on that one, because that's exactly what they did. There were additional scratches the other place found - the scratches follow the other line. I just didn't see it at the time I called AAA originally., He was chastising a customer over the phone about something I knew they already did. I was upset, but you can clearly see it was from the same incident. But, he never bothered to look at it. I have had cars inspected. It takes a five minute look-see. It is not brain surgery. It was all right there, it wasn't like they had to get under it. He had the request from AAA - he knew it wasn't a complicated inspection. So this guy starts going off on how he doesn't like doing quotes when there's already another one, before he said it was fine. Now he said he didn't like it. I can tell he already has his haunches up before he starts to get his butt out of his chair like he's ready for war and using a tone none-to-nicely. I'd already been there for 10 minutes and he finally starts to get up. He starts scolding me about how he doesn't like to do work when there's another quote. The quote was to see how long it would take them - it's minor and the other place said they'd have to keep it for four weeks. He knows this. So, I just say if you don't want to do it, just say that. And I left. He was trying to be intimidating and he's a gruff guy. I can tell you he wouldn't have tried this with a man. So, WOMEN BEWARE. And I shall tell AAA tomorrow about this situation. I'd give him less than 4 stars, but.... I do give the Office Manager five stars - she was great. Someone please give her a really great job offer. They did good work last time, with the whole exception of billing AAA for my separate work. That's against the law. Anyhow, I just wanted to say all this now before I forgot any of the details, although, on second thought, I won't be forgetting this anytime soon. read more

Lady who did the estimate on my car (I believe her name is Cecilia) did not bother to ask the proper questions concerning my car before scheduling an appointment. Due to that fact, when I brought my car in for said appointment, they were unable to accept my car for services. This all could have been avoided if Cecilia would have simply done her job thoroughly. Big waste of time on both ends, but especially mine!! Cause one of us had to take time out of their day to do all this sh*t. The other gets paid too while sitting behind a desk. This location has terrible front office service. My family member was treated like they were bothering them. The first visit, they ordered a part and were asking about another service and they wanted someone to look at the vehicle. They were given an answer without even looking at the vehicle. The manager was aware on both visits on how the customer was being treated but he seemed okay that his employee was being very rude. I guarantee you nobody in our family or circle of friends will go back to this location. A complaint was filed with the insurance company and AAA. Body work was good but they left the interior of my vehicle a total mess. Dust and debris everywhere, 5 day job took a total of 10 days, and I had them order parts before I dropped it off. Would not recommend this shop. Also, they obviously drove my vehicle a lot. Dropped it off with a full tank of gas and received back with a 3/4 tank approx 90 miles driven. read more

Multiple deep scratches appeared on my new car, it appeared to have been keyed. Hubby called AAA and was referred here for a quote. Ryan was amazing and fixed it one day - it looks brand new! I wrecked my car, my insurance suggested Fix Auto Central because it is in Ramona, which is where I live. I took it in on a Monday morning and Brandon started my estimate, he took pictures and spoke to me briefly. Told me he'd have the estimate by the end of the day. My car was leaking water(badly) he told me it was probably my washer fluid reservoir, it was not I drove my car home and the engine went straight to hot (I live two blocks from the shop). I parked it and called fix it and let them know that my car was not drivable that it was not the washer fluid reservoir it had to be something with the radiator. Tuesday came, still no estimate, Wednesday, Thursday no estimate. I called Friday and the very nice girl in the office told me that it was in review with corporate office. Then as I hung up the phone I received an email from Brandon saying that my car was cleared to start work but they couldn't start it for a month and a half. So basically wasted a entire week when I could have taken it elsewhere and it could have been almost done. I don't have car rental insurance so going without my car has been very stressful. On my estimate Brandon stated that I told him a statement I never said, but there was no mention of me calling and telling him the water leak was from radiator and that my car was not drivable. Also on estimate he made no note that I told him after impact my car now read "service air bag" with beeping every few minutes. Needless to say I'm not having my car fixed by Fix it auto in Ramona. As far as I'm concerned Brandon really dropped the ball on this repair. read more

I can't tell you how nice they can make your car look or whether they charge a fair price. I never got that far. But I can tell you about some aspect of their service. I went to their website and uploaded a photo of my dented car to get a quote. After no response for a couple days. I phoned them up. I was told the manager would call me back after getting back from lunch. No call. I phoned them up again. I was told the manager would call me back after getting out of a meeting. No call. Haven't encountered too many businesses that play hard-to-get like this. read more

Several months ago we purchased a new 2020 Toyota Prius Prime and were very proud of our new car. About two weeks ago we were traveling on Hwy 67 and a car in front of us swerved to miss a piece of lumber (a 4x4 about 3 feet long) in the road. Well, the car hit the lumber, sending it airborne, and, yes, it hit our car, denting it and cracking the windshield. Fortunately we were not injured and the car was still operable. We took it to Fix Auto Central in Ramona and everyone there was wonderful. James took charge and reassured us that the car would look like new again....and it did! Donna and Cecelia in the front office were extremely friendly and helpful, keeping us informed on the progress almost daily. James arranged for the car to be trailered to the closest Safelite Auto Glass for the windshield to be replaced and then returned to Fix Auto Central for us to pick up. We are extremely pleased with all the work done on the car and can't praise Fix Auto enough! read more

I finally had a chance to speak with Eric, the shop owner, who was able to clarify the challenges they had with fixing my vehicle. Eric sounds committed to rectifying the communication problem has has taken a personal interest in seeing that my truck is completed, and that I receive better communication. Again, the shop's work is very good, just greater communication would have kept me from resorting to writing a bad review. Eric has a good reputation as a shop owner and I'm looking forward to getting my truck back. I will post a follow up review after we're all done and I have my truck back. So I have not had any repairs done here, however, that was the whole reason why I brought my SUV here. My vehicle ended up getting totaled out, but let me just speak on how great Donna is. From the first time I spoke with her she has been so helpful. SAVE YOURSELF A HUGE AMOUNT OF FRUSTRATION AND TROUBLE AND FIND ANOTHER BODY SHOP. You're not going to believe this ongoing NIGHTMARE! Even though this review is lengthy, it might be worth your time, to help you make an informed decision. After choosing Ramona Body Shop from a list of "Guaranteed Body Shops" that Farmer's Insurance provided us, we took our car in to RBS on 10/08/15 for repairs stemming from a car accident that took place a couple days prior. We spoke to "Ron" at the shop who came out to the parking lot and looked at the car damage with us and said that it would take 10 days to complete the repairs. We found out that the shop is closed on weekends (would have been nice for Ron to mention that) so the 10 days turned into 14 days. The car should have been ready on 10/22/15 but didn't get a call from Ron at RBS until 10/30/15 advising us that the car was ready to be picked up. Upon looking at the car, I immediately noticed that they failed to repair some damage which was obvious deep scrapes to the lower side of the car. When this was brought to Ron's attention, his response was, "oh, did we miss a spot?" I was surprised since the damage was in plain view! Ron informed me that since the shop is not open on the weekends, they would keep the car and would continue the repairs on Monday 11/02/15. Monday came & went but no call from the shop until Wednesday 11/04/15 when Linda with RBS called to say that the car was ready. My husband went to the shop that day to pick the car up. A tech with the shop brought the car out and after looking the car over, my husband noticed a 6 inch crack in the side of the windshield that was not present prior to this point. I'm not sure how it went unnoticed since the crack was in plain view. After my husband pointed the crack out to the tech, my husband was told that RBS would replace the windshield and that the car would be ready the next day, Thursday 11/5/15. After a long conversation over the phone with Eric the the owner of Ramona Body Shop on Thursday 11/05/15, Eric said that the windshield was scheduled to be replaced around noon that day and assured me that the car would be ready by 4 PM. At around 4- 4:30, I arrived at the body shop to look at the car. The owner Eric went over all the repairs that RBS did on the car. I expressed my frustrations regarding the extreme lack of communication/ returning calls that RBS had with us during the repairs of the car, since at that point Ramona Body Shop had taken 28 days for a 10 business day repair! Not to mention RBS had "missed" an area with obvious damage as well as the large crack in the windshield! Both times we were told that the car was "ready" to be picked up and would have driven away if the damages were not spotted by us the CUSTOMERS! Eric said that he would meet with Ron and see what went wrong and do retraining on communicating with customers of updates, checking the quality of work etc. It was late at this point so I proceeded to look over the car, the windshield had been replaced and the damages that the shop missed last time, were repaired. So I left the shop to pick up my daughter. I thought everything was finally repaired...but I was WRONG!!! Shortly after picking up my daughter, we noticed that the right side passenger door would not open from the inside, the armrest on that same door has very deep scrapes and burn marks into the fabric. It's also apparent that the same right front passenger door is not sealed properly due to the fact that when the car is in motion, there is still the obvious noise of outside air entering the cab of the car, which was present immediately following the collision. We also notice that the light in the car no longer comes on when the door is opened even with the interior light is set in the middle position. This was NOT the case prior to dropping the car off with Ramona Body Shop. Immediately upon noticing these issues, I called Ramona Body Shop but the office was closed and I was not given the opportunity to leave a voice message so I had to wait until the shop opened Friday morning on 11/06/15. I returned to Ramona Body Shop with the car and spoke to "Ron", explaining the additional issues. He advised me to bring the car back on Monday 11/09/15 so RBS could continue the repairs on the car. Ron assured me that he would inform Eric of the situation. I would think that at the very least, Eric (the owner of RBS) would feel it important to call us and apologize for the inconvenience of this continuing NIGHTMARE which is a direct result of the faults of his shop but nothing...I will take the car back in to RBS this Monday 11/09/15 and see what happens. I will post an update if and when our car ever gets completely repaired. read more

DO NOT take your car here you will regret it!! Just got off the phone with the lady at the front desk "Linda" and she failed to answer any of the questions I had asked and accused me of being a liar. I am a very reasonable woman and can take a lot before popping off and getting angry but i'm writing this review so obviously I was pushed to the limit. I'm just going to say that I NEVER write reviews...so the fact that I decided to jump on my computer after the 6 week experience I had with these people should show that this is not the place you will want to take your car. Long story short: They said that they would keep me updated on the work done for my car...never got any calls. I had to call them to get any updates and any time I called the guy was either busy or on break...maybe if he spent a quarter of the time updating his clients as he does taking a break or whatever else he does...he would have happy clients! My husband hit a deer with his car causing severe damage. RBS returned the car to us right when they said they would. After taking it on the freeway our car experienced transmission problems. It turned out to be a manufacturer problem but RBS did everything they could to help us figure that out and get it to the dealer for a transmission replacement. They took VERY good care of us every step of the way, even providing a rental for a period of time. Donna kept us informed every step of the way and has been so kind. When they promised me a finished date, I expected them to keep to that promise, or at the very least communicate with me about the hold up. So when I arrived to pick up my car, imagine my disappointment to find it wasn't ready. I left work a couple of hours early to get to their shop before they closed for the weekend, but they didn't even have the courtesy to give me a call to save me the trip, or the time lost at work, OR EVEN offer an apology for any of this. The work was done well enough, just not in a timely fashion, and the shop's communication and customer service is seriously lacking. The body work done is satisfactory, but in my line of work, we would quickly be out of business if we handled customers like this. read more

When we got the van back, it looked as if it had just come out of the dealership. Really quality work. They also called me several times during the project to update me on its progress, and they worked with the other vehicle's insurance company every step of the way. On October 30th, I had a minor accident on the 78 East. My insurance suggested this shop to do the repair work. First, Ted from RBS came to get my car because the right front wheel was damaged. He was awesome, and very nice to my kiddos in the car. When we arrived at the shop, Donna got all the paperwork done quick and actually gave us a ride to my house, with everything from the car. Starting that day, I received text messages stating what stage the repairs were on my car. As the finish got closer, Linda sent additional messages about what specific day and time the car would be ready. On November 14th, I went to pick up my car. It was ready as promised and looked fantastic. I've had absolutely no issues. Donna even let me borrow five bucks to tip my Lyft driver. They were amazing, friendly, understanding, and as far as I can see, provided top-notch service. I feel like I can trust them with any future repairs. Thanks a bunch, guys! read more
