Kim was amazing and got all of the stains out of my husband's jacket. He worked extra hard. Highly recommend!

They called her before she picked it up a week later (a week before the wedding) that there was a small rip in the underskirt from cleaning. My mom said no problem and picked it up. When we looked at it at home we noticed that the seam on the dress and train was majorly ripped and almost the entire underskirt seam was ripped. The rip was huge and needed to be repaired for the skirt and underskirt if I had any hope of wearing my dress for my wedding. This was a week before my wedding. We called them and they said they didn't have time to try and tailor it for us before my wedding and asked us to bring it by to validate the many rips we were seeing. We brought the dress back and showed the rips and the owner told us that other customers who bring stuff in and this happens don't blame her for any damage that happens. She also refused to refund us the full amount stating that she did technically clean it still. She took no accountability for the rips on my wedding dress and tried to put the blame on us for the stitching not being robust enough. Again, this is all a week before my wedding. I have never had an item damaged so extremely at a cleaners before and then been told it was my fault for the damage. For a place that is supposed to preserve wedding dresses and serves a small town I would have expected better service and customer service. At the end of this experience she told us to bring other clothes still for cleaning with them, which I will never be doing.

Initially they agreed to give me a $3000 credit to pay for the sheepskin rugs they ruined. I showed the owner the rugs, in person, in my home, and he proceeded to tell me that he cannot give me a $3k credit, because the rugs were "used", and were not worth $3k. The most he would give is $1700 in credit. These are expensive large Overland rugs, and you cannot simply pick up a 8ft x 11 ft rug at the local thrift store. We showed him the current online prices, and he still refused. I also had an 8 pelt rug that was ruined, showed him this, right next to the identical 8 pelt in good condition, and he simply blamed his mystery "supplier" that he apparently farms all his work out to. This is another bad business practice, simply pawning my cleaning to unknown mystery companies that he never disclosed. He said the company charges him more than what we paid him, and he was supposedly doing us a "favor" to keep our business. Over the years, we have used Hopsin for all our dry cleaning and large item laundry needs. It started out very well, and I appreciated that they will come to your home and pick up and drop off your dry cleaning / laundry. However, we have a cleaning service clean our home every week, and the owner was making side comments about how dirty and unclean our bed sheets and other items were, and she recommended we stop doing business with Hopsin. But because they were so convenient, we stayed with them for years. We even stayed with them after they ruined our Saatva foam pillows, and after several stinky/moldy loads they would occasionally return to us, and of course, charge us full price every time. But this was a game changer, after the rugs were ruined, and they failed to even do what is fair, and credit us the $3000 for future services, which since we spend $300 a week with them, would only take 10 weeks to make up. The owner even said he doesn't want to lose our business, and "the customer is always right". Maybe he should take his own advice. I wish he would have been more transparent about the rugs, and said he has no idea how to clean them, and he doesn't know anyone else that can either, except for a guy in his garage with a power washer that he will send the rugs too, with no promise that the sheepskin rugs will even make it to the other side. Then, maybe I could have made an informed decision, and not give him our largest rugs for him to ruin.

Normally, when I take them in to a cleaner, I show them the buttons and ask that they don't press them in their shirt machines because they crush the delicate buttons. Usually, as with the previous owners, they take a look, agree, and my shirts are returned to me with intact buttons. The previous owners laundered my shirts a dozen or so times this way with no issue. One day, I returned with my shirts to find a woman I didn't recognize behind the counter. Nevertheless, I explained the button issue and how the pressing machine destroys them and she looked confused. I explained again and she brought up another woman I didn't recognize. They chatted for a bit and still didn't seem to grasp that I didn't want the shirt to go into the pressing machine. Because the second woman didn't speak English, or at least didn't to me, trying to communicate my concerns through the first woman who didn't seem to understand the issue was impossible. In the end, I got the distinct impression they didn't want to deal with it and I was wasting their time trying to ask them to be careful with my expensive shirts. By then, I was worried that even if they had said they could handle it, I didn't trust they actually would. I left with my shirts and went to another cleaners in town who readily understood my issue without an issue. I will not be returning to this cleaners ever. They lost my business because they didn't seem concerned about damaging my garments.

Why a gold star for a business that not only wasted time and…read moremoney; and didn't accomplish what they promised THREE times, and moreover; never apologized??? Yes, they will not only NOT clean your clothes (well, they might. I assume they must have cleaned someone's clothes properly at one time, otherwise they really wouldn't be in business. But that person clearly lives nearby, and doesn't have any urgency with their clothes, and probably goes to the same church as the owner and therefore would be unlikely to complain should a problem with the untimely return of clothes occur) but they will tell you they can get them to you in a two-day turnaround. You will stress the importance of getting said clothes back on Saturday at 8 AM before you drop them off on Thursday afternoon. You will confirm when there, while giving all your information to the woman so you can be put into her computer system, something that pleases you because it means she considers you to be recurring business, which you just might be. When you leave and see the receipt says Saturday at THREE PM, you immediately call back and confirm that they will, in fact, be ready Saturday at opening. For good measure, I called AGAIN Friday to ensure they would, in fact, be there AT 8 AM on Saturday, and not 8:15. My fiance and I have a fourth of a condo in Granby, north of Winter Park. This is our first month living here, and he has quite a bit of travel arranged for business. Since there are NO dry cleaners anywhere nearby (the one in Kremmling closed), this was the logical stop on my way back from COS airport after taking him last Thursday. He would return to COS airport Saturday at 6 AM, and his friend would be picking him up and driving him up to our place so they could go mountain biking (quite nice of him, because it's at least a 2.5 hour drive and I didn't feel like driving back down myself). I had given them the address, knowing they might arrive at El Rancho Cleaners in Evergreen before 8 AM but deciding that waiting 15 minutes or so for them to open wouldn't be terrible when the alternative was the several places nearby that opened at 9 AM. I didn't want to cut into their ride, so I chose this place because it opened at 8, they promised the turnaround from Thursday to Saturday at 8, and it was furthest west on Highway 70 that it would take the longest to get to from COS (108 miles, so arrival around 7:40 without traffic). But of course, their departure from COS was delayed and so they arrived much later, around 9:30. Well past the time of opening, and of the promised ready-for-pick-up. My fiance had the order number ready. He entered, and the woman came to help him. She could not find his order by his last name. She also did not seem to remember that his fiancee (me) had called three times about this crucial order (he needed his dry cleaning for another trip on Monday from DEN, and of course there was no way to get anything back by Monday morning at 6 AM if he were to leave it there on Saturday or take it anywhere else, unless they happened to be open on Sunday. Fat chance). She hustled around the shop looking for the order- seven shirts to be box-folded, one pair of slacks, and two dresses (mine, obviously ;) ). Another customer came in and the woman came to the desk and asked my fiance if she could help the other woman first. He answered no, because he was on a schedule and had the simple need only of picking up his dry cleaning that had been dropped off and confirmed with the pick-up date and time of Saturday at 8 AM. The other customer folded her arms as well and answered that she'd like to see the gentleman get his things and she was in no rush. The woman at the counter continued to look, blaming the worker in the back when she found the pile crumpled and unfinished, in the same spot it had been left Thursday. For those twenty minutes my fiance's hopes slid and he frantically conducted a phone search for a dry cleaning service in Stockholm, Sweden that would do a same-day service on Monday from his 1 PM arrival to his 6 PM departure for an important dinner. There were none, so he had to buy a new suit and several new shirts. My plans were changed on Sunday as we had to leave early to go to Denver to shop, and we had to stay the night at a hotel near the airport rather than drive back to Granby Sunday then back again Monday. Total cost of this dry cleaning experience? About $700. And the price we would have paid had they actually finished the order on time? The receipt given to me Thursday with the order number says $42.76. Which, to be honest, is still a lot for the few items and the relatively normal turnaround (in Dallas, we have an in-by-9, out-by-5 service). The woman didn't apologize or try to fix the mistake and return the clothes to our address personally that evening (which I would have done if I had a business I cared about and wished to please my customers). Skip it.
