From the first call placed to the final result, I can not recommend RKM enough!! We mostly worked…read morewith Rob, who provided oversight to all flooring and tile projects, as well as working with our general contractor, who at the time had several different contractors working at the same time. Rob and his team were very flexible and thorough. Rob had my husband and I come to his showroom where we were offered a surprisingly large selection of flooring and tiling options, and worked with us to help us create a custom look that we wanted for our home. **side note: we finished construction on our addition/modification to existing home in early 2019, so we have had ample time to "break in" the floor and tile from every day use. I must say that the work done was very high quality, as we have not one negative thing to say about it! Everything is in wonderful shape, and we are still just as happy as we were when it was first installed!** TILE WORK: amazing. Rob and his tile installers were great--I told Rob that I wanted two niches in the shower, and he made it happen--no questions asked. There was an issue we had (on our end) with the studs in that shower wall, and he worked with the GC to create a solution where we were able to have our niches without having to compromise. The two tilers were friendly, fast and very efficient. You can tell they've been doing it for years. They did a wonderful job on our floor and shower, and we couldn't be happier. My in-laws had the same process as we had with Rob, and are very happy with their choices and work as well! LVF: This was one of the last projects we had RKM do, my husband wanted a flooring for his basement "man cave" so Rob guided us to luxury vinyl flooring. He knew what look we had in mind and matched us with a LVF which was not only cost friendly, but was exactly what we wanted for the space. His LVF installation guys were in and out in one morning--I couldn't believe how fast it was! It's been a year since the installation, and the floor is still perfect. WOOD FLOORING: My in-laws had to pick out flooring for their 2 story addition, and Rob was very helpful throughout. My MIL had a specific wider-planked style in mind (which had to be special ordered), and Rob did a great job searching and working with her to find the perfect finish. The floors are so beautiful in person! He even helped her find wooden flooring vents which perfectly matched the hardwoods! KITCHEN BACKSPLASH: My MIL wanted these oversized aqua tiles and ended up purchasing them on her own; and RKM's tilers installed. They did a wonderful job! We had standard white subway tile with dark gray grout installed in our kitchen. They did a wonderful job with that too!! REFINISHING HARDWOODS: we had RKM come in to refinish our dated orange-ish oak floors to a more neutral brown tone in our family room. We scheduled it to be done while we were away for vacation, but they were done in (I believe) 3 days from start to finish. The flooring looks great, and we removed the baseboards beforehand to make it easier for them. We have tilework on the floor around the fireplace, and working with stain I was a little nervous about how clean the edges around it would be--but it was perfect! No bleeding, no splashes, no inconsistency in the color--I will definitely be calling again when we decide to refinish the rest of the downstairs! All in all, I would happily give RKM's team of Rob and his installers the highest possible rating. They are all high quality, experienced workers, who know exactly what they are doing, and are super efficient. I cannot day enough good things about them. Thank you so much RKM for helping to make our house a beautiful home that we are so happy with!

They refinished my current hardwood floors in 3 rooms, and the stairs while installing and finishing hardwoods in a fourth room. In addition, they laid tile in my foyer and mudroom/laundry/bath area - which all came out beautiful. They were very patient with me as I chose the finish for my floors (and provided samples for me to bring to the house to look at) and were helpful in sharing their opinions and sent photos from other jobs they had done. I felt as though Rob partnered with me every step of the way. I would 100% use RKM again and 100% recommend them to anyone for their flooring/tile needs.

After soliciting a few bids for our bathroom repair & reno, we couldn't be happier that we chose Dan and the team at BC Custom Builders. Our project included permits, and all the typical trades. He was extremely communicative and responsive throughout the project - we were always in the loop, and Dan was ready to jump over any surprises hidden behind the walls the moment they arose. Dominic and his crew were very professional and polite, and would check with us whenever something needed to be noted or a decision needed to be made. I am a slightly difficult customer because I had some ideas about exactly HOW I wanted things to be installed with gaps to allow water vapor to escape from my basement floor. Dominic listened, offered ideas of his own, we tried a couple of things and came up with a solution that works. They are detail oriented and make sure that the structural details that are not even visible (but make a difference in the long haul), are done correctly. They don't take any shortcuts. Even though I only speak one language, they speak MANY LANGUAGES, which may be handy for you. Most importantly, THEY ARE HONEST. You have nothing to fear about leaving tools or any valuables around. They do not swear, which is important if children are around, and they are always VERY respectful. When they are finished, your project will be done and everything will be cleaned up, and you will leave a 5-Star review too. Note that there are MANY construction companies with VERY similar names; this is a review for "MJM HOME REPAIRS, LLC" of Worcester MA

Not sure if he tried to just stuff this job in on the side, but my entire house that he refinished a darker stain looks terrible. I keep finding more and more errors on his part as time goes on. When I asked him about it he said "Oh that will fade away after time." He offered to come back to fix it, but I am not interested in having my entire house packed up and moved while he re-sands and re-stains everything. I wouldn't trust him nor his workers with staining a toothpick, rather to come back into my house and screw something else up. It infuriates me that I paid $4000 for a total of 12 hours of work that looks terrible. Do yourself a favor and find someone else to do your floors regardless of what your real estate agent says. These guys are better than advertised. Tuan Ung returned the phone call the same day, visited the next day, made some VERY accurate observations that kept me from going in another (wrong) direction... then gave me a very competitive quote for top notch flooring products that was very close to one from a company going to use Home Depot pre-finished products instead. The work (taking out four layers of flooring and plywood and laying down fresh oak with one coat of finish) was done in one day. They handled the removal and installation of some appliances and fixtures flawlessly and as part of the service. When they wanted to reinstall the old toilet I asked them to hold on a moment, ran out and bought a new one, and they unboxed and installed it as part of the overall service, then broke up and hauled away the old one just for good measure. Tuan checked back several times to be sure I was happy with the work and had continually offered to make any small repairs I might require. I cannot say enough positive about these guys; on time, good work, very reasonable cost, attention to detail, follow through... it is all there. The last contractor I hired to do any work I ended up suing and winning, so I do not suffer fools gladly. You need some flooring ? At least call these guys for a quote... great service.
