Pineapple Fried Rice and Massaman Curry.
    J R.

The food was so good. It was everything we were hoping for when we decided to come here today. This review has a vegan bent. Most of their entrees can be adapted to being vegan, besides some of the salads, per our server, who I suspect is an owner...? And this is something we really appreciate. A lot of things are labeled vegan on the menu but you can assume this applies to most items, "just let us know." Further, everyone seemed happy. The employees were all friendly. Everyone there seemed to be having a good time. This restaurant also appears to be welcoming to families. It was just me and my girlfriend, but two other tables had small children. Relatedly, they have a small store that has candy and such. This is going to sound weird but it's true. The water was so cold and refreshing. Beyond the water, the food was served quickly following our orders, less than 10 minutes for sure. Also, everything tasted like it was literally just taken off of a stove. We bought the Pineapple Cashew Fried Rice with fried tofu, the Massamon Curry with fried tofu, and the Guay Chai. We love fried tofu and being able to add that to both main dishes was like xmas. The Guay Chai seemed fresh, hot and soft, and the dipping sauce (not sure what it was) was sweet and had a thick consistency. The portions were substantial, the pricing was more than reasonable, and the food was amazing. We brought home enough food for dinner tonight, we went early evening, and maybe breakfast tomorrow? Note: The picture was taken after we had eaten for a bit and does not include the additional rice or the Guay Chai.

Ordering the food over the phone wasn't terrible...but I wish the quality and taste of the food were better. I had a taste for Thai food - specifically pad Thai which is one of my favorite dishes. I ordered that along with the Thai basil fried rice (was to be a bit spicy) and was severely disappointed. Both dishes tasted similar. If I was blindfolded I probably wouldn't be able to pick which was which. I didn't dine in - this was carry-out. The restaurant itself looks small.

Sometimes it can be a big ask for restaurants to live up to their names, but Five Star Thai has no issue with that. Whenever I come to visit my parents, we like to order from here to go, but recently I finally had the privilege to dine in. I'm a sucker for a good Panang curry, and here is no different. You get plenty of food and can usually make two meals out of it. Overall, the food is fantastic and the service is great as well. To be honest, this is probably the best Thai place in all of The Region.

So... this place has done some updating. Food and service was kind of amazing. So much better than when I had written my first review. Ordered the spring rolls and the beef noodle soup and both were cooked perfectly and super yummy. The soup is a HUGE portion. And yum. I'm really glad I went back. Of course, it always helps when you're with great company. :)

This is a small place hidden from US 30. I walked in on a Monday around 7:30 and had a hearty conversation with the owner. I asked for yellow curry chicken, but he said yellow is not typically eaten in Thailand; the red is more common and has better flavor. He recommended I try any of the red curry dishes. I ended up ordering Bankok chicken, with peanuts, baby corn, water crests, bamboo and it was quite tasty. I got two filling meals out if it Dining area is open again, but I took my food to go since I'm currently traveling with two dogs service was fast and friendly.

The food wasn't bad. Just more on the bland side. The service far as greetings was blasé. The ambiance was inviting.

This time I was served by someone who claimed she was the manager (never seen her before) and she made my shakes without the sauce ( literally THE only reason I order these shakes) and I was told "that's a premium shake" I said ??? I've never seen "premium shake" on the menu or been told this. Then I was told the staff are not supposed to be putting the sauce in the cup, only for Dubai shakes. She rolled her eyes at me and was irritated cause I said I wanted to literally PAY THE PREMIUM for the sauce in the shake. She re-made them and I found a long DARK hair in my shake, not mine cause I have blonde hair. What the heck is wrong with their customer service if this person claims to be the MANAGER. Ridiculously RUDE! The rest of the staff are always sweet. I was the only customer in there. And if you claim to have "premium shakes" put it on the menu. Not my fault you have a secret menu??? Great, next time they'll spit in my shake for making this review since I'm a loyal customer who comes here weekly strictly for the shake. Also- how can the sauce added to the shake be considered a premium shake but then in the next sentence I'm told the sauce is only to be used in the Dubai shake. I don't work there but Biscoff sauce doesn't go in the Dubai one... chocolate goes in that one... what a load of BS excuses; sounds like she just didn't wanna make it that way, not like the sauce drizzle comes out of her paycheck??!

I really wanted to like this place, I was excited to try the viral fruit pastries and Dubai…read morechocolate, but was sadly disappointed. The first time I stopped by, my boyfriend and I got the strawberry pastry, cocoa bean pastry, Dubai tres leches, and a Dubai chocolate bear. All together it was about $50, plus an additional 15% tip since it was the lowest set option they gave, there was a custom tip button but I got nervous since the woman was staring directly at me the whole transaction. The pastries were kinda disappointing, not worth the $13 price for each. The tres leches just tasted like wet chocolate cake, also not worth it. My boyfriend isn't picky at all and didn't like them at all, though he still ate them so our money wasn't wasted. The Dubai chocolate bear was the only thing worth eating and had a good crunch to the pistachio, but the price was still absurd. The second time I went, I was hoping for a better experience, but was disappointed again. This interaction was much more awkward, as the girl behind the counter stood at the register the whole interaction and didn't say much of anything to me. I got the Dubai bear again, a slice of nutella kunafa, and a Dubai brownie. The bear and kunafa were pretty good if you're a texture eater, like me. The brownie on the other hand, was stale and lacked cohesion. It was just some pistachio mix sandwiched between two dry brownies and tasted nothing like Dubai chocolate. Overall, it's a cute place with aesthetically pleasing treats, but they aren't worth the price.

What a fun date night pop-in!…read more We finally made a trip to this establishment that opened (this location) in 2024. Cobbler! Yay! Cornelius (the owner of a marriage team) was a wonderful pleasure to meet. It felt like family walking through the doors. Inclusive, kind, knowledgeable, patient, and he endured my colorful rambling. Lol Options, Options, Options! I have never been to an establishment that had so many dessert options! Whatever you are craving in the realm of cobbler/cheesecake/banana pudding combos, you can experience it here! Wait! There's more! Cookies Brownies Cinnamon rolls... *screaming* YOU HAVE OPTIONS MY FRIENDS! So much so, you HAVE to come back. And sorry to spoil it so early (we will!). What we ordered: Cheesecake with sweet potato pie topping, and a regular peach cobbler. Banana Pudding with cherries, and Peach Cobbler with caramel pralines. My review on what we selected: I REALLY enjoyed the peach cobbler with caramel pralines. I was so happy in my mouth! Note: none of the banana pudding has bananas, just the pudding flavor. The banana pudding with cherries did catch me by surprise. Im a bananas gal! I wanted, I needed the bananas! But I will be honest and say the cherries made it fun, as they were plentiful. Only con, definitely needed more cookies. Please, cookie me. Outside of that-yummers. I found the peach cobbler to be a very safe option. Nothing bad to speak of it. I would get it again. The Cheesecake with Sweet Potato Pie, was not bad. It just didn't make my mouth sing like the others. I believe I was looking for a firm baked Cheesecake experience, and it was more of a "Cheesecake fluff". It wasn't bad. It was just a different experience. The texture of the pie pieces were under cooked(potatoes werent hard, but were not very soft either) and the fluff with whipped cream, though it was not bad at all.. it was just not for me. I/we, ate every morsel of our purchase. Cobbler (options of toppings) Cheesecake(options of toppings) Banana Pudding (options of toppings) Milk shakes (options of toppings) Churros....there may be toppings for these too! Lol And there is sooooo much more. I can't type it all! So, that means you have to go and check them out! You can get your cobbler warmed up or not. And all cobbler selections come with ice cream. Yay for ice cream! They have catering options available. I am now trying to think of a gathering to host just to have cobbler for dessert. Ha! This place is like a museum of cobbler/banana pudding/milk shake/dessert splendor! You have to give them a try! Cornelius sir, we will return, and with friends/family in tow. Too many flavor combos, too many options, too many mouthwatering adventures to be had for just one trip! Thank you for your patience, your hospitality and fun banter. We will see you soon. And as always, you don't have to take my word for it, go get you some!
