Everytime I patronize this establishment the customer service sucks. I've notices on several occasions the employees won't greet black people and will walk right pass. Whomever the owner is should make sure their employees treat all their customers with the same kind of respect. You will start to loose customers. I will spend my money where I'm respected!! I recently visited Cold Stone Creamery, and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. The employee who assisted me, Brooke, was extremely rude. When I asked a simple question about the flavor options, she barely responded and seemed irritated. As I was trying to decide, she made no effort to engage or offer any suggestions, just hurried me along as if I was inconveniencing her. When I made my order, she didn't even acknowledge me with a smile or any kind of customer service. It felt like I was a bother rather than a valued customer. I've had great experiences at Cold Stone in the past, but this visit was completely soured by her attitude. I hope management addresses this issue so others don't have to deal with such poor service. I enjoyed the ice cream here. It was my very first time and I haven't tasted ice cream better! It was a very nice neat place, and the bathrooms were clean with good smells. The only problem I had with Cold Stone is, their workers could be a little less awkward.. Maybe they could suggest a ice cream since they work there instead of looking around weirdly. I love Cold Stone's ice cream and their fabulous creations. Not so much their prices (usually spend around $5 per person), but I can make the case every so often. This is the location closest to where I live. Every time I go there, it's always a few high school-aged girls working there. And they're always so cheerful and helpful! I give the employees kudos...Last time I went in was on the 4th of July, around 6PM. I used to work a job that had me working on holidays, and I know I did not enjoy it! I know these girls probably wanted to go home and party/barbeque with their loved ones and friends like everyone else, but they were stuck working. But, hey, they did not show at all that they did not want to be there. Still, ever so cheerful, offering samples of flavors, appearing to have a good time. Good job Crown Point Cold Stone staff! I can't reiterate enough, the ice cream and mix-ins are delicious. Anything with pieces of Brownie or Brithday Cake ice cream is my friend for life! read more

There are some really great pluses to franchised food. This is one prime example....from Chicago to NWI...to...haven't been there yet, I can expect that when I walk into a Cold Stone Creamery and order a strawberry blonde, it will be just as delicious as the first dozen times I've ordered it. The only downside to this location is that it doesn't offer enough room inside and doesn't have a bunch of outside seating. The ice cream is a bit pricey, but once you take that first spoonful, your mind is grappled into a sugar coma. Mmmmm.... read more

I do not get the hype. Three stars are for very good vanilla sweet cream ice cream. But I have never had a pleasant service experience. You go in and spend over 14 dollars for two ice cream cones. Would it kill the workers to smile or say hello? And if you ask a question or ask for a sample, you get a serious rolling of the eyes.They seem truly unhappy to be waiting in you. We tried the frozen yogurt place across the street next to Stracks, and will never be back to that mess. Hands down if your looking for a frozen treat this is the place to come! Clean, great options, and you don't feel link your in a 3rd world country where their are is no health department or food handling guidelines.
