He was awesome! He was thorough, took his time, showed he cared by sitting down with me and explaining how the do their estimates and how the move process goes. He responds quickly to email and truly the nicest estimator I'd worked with (I had about 5 different people come to our 1 bedroom apartment) and had estimates over the phone. He offered any available boxes they had including medium and large moving boxes, wardrobe boxes (3), and TV boxes (2) for FREE. This was a huge reason why I chose them as well since these boxes can get ridiculously expensive. Some were used boxes and some were new, but all were in excellent condition. He even showed us how to assemble the wardrobe box. The movers came in a big North American Van Lines semi and was able to park in a really tight space behind our apartment building. I was super impressed with Fabian our mover and primary contact from that point. He was very fast and strong and efficient--you could tell he had 15 years of experience. They took down all big furniture (bed frame, etc) and provided all materials for packing such as big blankets, stretch wrap, etc. Pick up was on May 17. Our estimated window of delivery was between May 23 and June 7 when we first booked with the company. We were informed of the actual delivery date on pick up date which was May 24 and they delivered on time, as scheduled. They reassembled everything they took apart and were very organized in unloading. I would highly recommend Piepho (working with Fran) and Fabian (mover) for anyone making a big move. NONE of our furniture or belongings were damaged, NOTHING was missing. Also the price was excellent! One of the best estimates I received, and the final cost came in UNDER THE ESTIMATE by about $250 which was awesome. They let me pay on the day of delivery via credit card over the phone with no additional charge for using a credit card (as some companies do). I would use them again in a heartbeat for any of my future moves!!!

This in itself is pretty lame and is bribery how they get their reviews? For an actual experience with this site, read below. Not that long ago, when i was in the middle of moving I rented two storage units from this management team. During construction while adding even more units, they left the fences down for days and days. We went and checked (dodgy at least) and noticed our locks were cut off (and at least 5 other units broken into). They then called me the next day stating an incident had occurred, but were very muted as to actual scope - my person checking got the full scoop and the message they sent out hid most of the story to obviously protect their own interests. They cleaned the most valuable items out with sleds - and WERE NOT NOTICED! We saw the tracks in the snow. The mgmt team did not watch videos to see this, did not even call the police that we were made aware. They said the day of the event they would help us reimburse our losses. NEVER happened. Net, the company is asking for reviews and paying $25 for them, this was a major incident and they mistreated their clients... Maybe if the management team is new, worth a try, but if the same - beware is my 2 cents. I have nothing to gain. Lastly, the police called us twice finding items in the city that made their way into the public after this theft, and we relayed that to the officers, but the items were destroyed. I would not even give them a one star to be clear, but had to ensure this would be posted.

During the cold winter months, it can be hazardous to store delicate items in a location that is…read morenot climate controlled. Rochester Indoor Storage fulfilled our storage needs quite nicely, as we had a number of bins, items, and belongings that wouldn't fit in our apartment. While the location isn't near downtown, Rochester's not all that large a city, so it worked out pretty well. The only recommendation I have is to install a true elevator, as the lift that's currently installed is quite slow, and doesn't accommodate large, tall, or heavy items all that well. However, it served its purpose. The only reason we left is because we no longer needed storage (hooray!). One major bonus: bathrooms! While it's not something I'd normally think of, it definitely was a perk when we were doing some work in our unit. No complaints, easy move-in and rental, and excellent customer service. Nicole answered the phone at all hours, offered quick and helpful service, and made the entire process as enjoyable as storage can be. Also, pricing was comparable to other storage venues in the area, and it was nice to be able to move in right away without waiting to meet with someone or do paperwork.
