He then made it to my house to service my heating system in a half of an hour! When he arrived he was friendly and professional. He was able to troubleshoot the issue right away. We had a bad blower motor, but he already had the brand new parts in his van. In a little under an hour he was able to finish the job and restore heat to my house! After looking through local plumbers, we called Strictly Service, and connected with Chris right away. He asked about our setup and had us text pictures of our leaky behemoth. The bad news: after 20 years, it was time to say goodbye and replace it with a new water heater. The good news: Chris could come next day, get the new one installed, and take the old one away. Chris provided a fair, all-inclusive quote, and the next morning, he showed up on time, with the new water heater ready to go. He finished the job in less than 2 hours, and we had hot water again. I contacted five companies, and of all of them, Rob was the only one who returned my call within half an hour of leaving a voicemail. He was personable and professional, and he promptly scheduled a visit to evaluate my existing system and discuss possible solutions. Rob is not only the owner of the company, but also an installer with more than 20 years of experience. He recommended a system he has installed in his own home, which gave me additional confidence in his recommendation. During the evaluation, Rob also informed me of a code change requiring the oil line to be rerouted across the joists and fitted with a Tiger Loop system to allow the oil to be self-primed from the tank. Even though it was late Friday afternoon when he came out, he provided a detailed quote that same day. Additionally, he offered the earliest installation date of all the companies I contacted -- the following Wednesday. Rob and his team of four arrived right on time and completed the entire installation in one day. Once the work was finished, Rob thoroughly reviewed the operation of the new boiler to ensure I was comfortable with the system. Based on this experience, I plan to have RWM Mechanical handle all of my annual HVAC maintenance going forward, and I will gladly recommend Rob and his team to friends and associates. I had my husband call to setup an appointment based on the quotes I collected and he responded to me "Holy crap that dude was rude". This is coming from a man who has much more patience than I do. This is *not* how you run a business. No matter what your business is, customer service *is* part of the job. Finally had time to write a review. This is my first review ever and I feel I need to give back to…read moremy Yelp reviewers. I was in a bind when our furnace suddenly broke. I got a referral from my neighbor who used JD heating for the last 15 years. I called and Dave was able get one of his technicians to come out the next day. Matt the technician texted and called prior to the scheduled time to let me know he was coming. It was nice to get a call ahead of time. He came and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. Matt was competent, friendly and professional. He reached out to me a day after the service to make sure everything was running ok. I have never had a service company follow up with me before. That being said I have added JD heating to our condo preferred vendor list!
